“We were there last night for a friend’s birthday. Place was packed but we had a reservation and were seated quick. Apps, entrees and desserts were all delicious and huge servings. The pineapple tropical margarita was so tasty! Our server Dayana was very sweet and attentive. She made my friend’s birthday very special. We will definitely be going back!“

“this spot has become a Troy staple for me. authentic Mexican food offered from a simple menu, this is the place to go. The reviews speak for itself, The food is authentic tasting with great flavor and it’s priced averagely for tacos in the area . The and delivery is optional with a click. We got take out via Melio it came really fast and tasted as good as it would if we got it there.Vegetarian options: As a protein option they offer a mix of yellow squash, zucchini, and pico de gallo- it’s delicious!Parking: We usually find parking close by on the streetWheelchair accessibility: Yes street level“

“I had a great Valentine’s Day meal at Ama Cocina. It is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Albany in my opinion. I recommend getting the pitcher of margarita for the table. You can choose between a few different kinds, we decided to go with the strawberry. The pitcher came with free chips and salsa as well, which I think is a great idea. Between the two of us we both had four margaritas and had to get an Uber home but it was such a great time! Our waitress brought over a new glass with ice and sugar rims every time we went through a margarita. I was very impressed with the service and the attention to detail we received from the staff. The guacamole and queso was delicious and I would definitely get it again when I go back. The tacos were all good but I have to admit the barbacoa was my favorite one. It had a great flavor to it that I never had before. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks!Vegetarian options: Large selection if you don’t eat meatParking: Paid parking lot across the street. $4 for two hours. Also street parking is available if you want to try your luck.Kid-friendliness: Yes bring the kidsWheelchair accessibility: Beware there are steps“

“I was sceptical of the combination of food options but they pull it off. The food was excellent and the service was great as well. Ordered a variety of food for a takeout dinner and everything from the quesadillas to the Nutella calzone was delicious!“

“The HYPE IS REAL!! These tacos are phenomenal! Fresh and flavorful ingredients, I had the jerk chicken and beef tacos with the sweet and spicy sauce they make in house and it’s AMAZING! 100% I’ll be eating from this place again in the near future, service was top notch “

“My first experience with Mexican Street Corn, and it won't be the last!Been quite sometime since I had a hankering for some Mexican cuisine, but seeing Sabor Azteca on my trips through Clifton park I was curious enough that I began to check out their menu online.Ended up going with an order of the House Chimichangas and the Elotes Preparados (Mexican Street Corn), coming to around $34 total for everything which included a bag of chips and salsa. Not too shabby.Once home, which even with the 45 minute drive there, everything was still perfectly warm. I immediately tried the corn and was very surprised at how good it was, like corn on the cob but way better. The blend of flavors, cheesy, sweet, and tart, really had quite the punch. This might be the only way I eat corn on the cob going forward. The Chimichangas weren't anything to skimp over either, being stuffed to the brim with shredded chicken (my choice), a generous helping of ranchero sauce and cheese, and they got my requests to swap out the included tomatoes with onion and the guac dip with a bean and cheese dip which went fantastically with the chips. The Mexican rice was tender and very flavorful, and when mixed together with the shredded lettuce and some of the sauce from the Chimichangas; made for a delicious salad. The only "negative" thing I could say about my whole experience was arriving at 4:00PM to pickup, I found my order was still not ready and I had to wait an additional 7 minutes. Not a big deal, especially given how awesome it came out, but something to be aware of that you might have to wait a tad bit longer than the ETA. But if it means hotter food, I'll take the wait.A big thumbs up from me, recommended to anyone wanting some yummy Mexican dishes.“

“This place gets busy, which is a good thing! I eat here fairly regularly because the food is so good (pollo chipotle is my jam). Their margaritas are also excellent. I would say this is my go to spot if my friends and I are going out to eat dinner. My suggestion would be to book a reservation if you do plan on going because during peak dinner hours this place gets packed!“

“I visited with a friend for a casual dinner. We were seated and our waitress came over to attend to our drink needs and asked if we had visited before (we both had). Our food came out quickly-my friend got the fajitas and I got the chimichanga although I realized after it wasn't fried after I had already eaten some (still tasted good that's why I didn't notice initially). This is my second experience there with some type of kitchen error. I had been there a few months earlier and our tres leches cake had somehow “missed its soak”, ummm that's what tres leches is so I think their kitchen needs to be a little more attentive. Our waitress sort of disappeared after that. I did have to ask for a drink refill and we decided to get a dessert when she came over which were some churros. It took 35 minutes to get us our churros. They were tasty but there was no apology or reasoning for it taking so long. Overall a great meal just needs a little work on the service end.“

“I don’t visit Troy very often, but was in the travels of going to a dealership to pick up a vehicle when we came across the Rustic Barn Pub. Was very surprised of all the food they had to offer, and that is was all homemade. I enjoyed my pizza and homemade soup, and my husband enjoyed his Piggy burger. Would defiantly return if I’m in the area again!“

“I want to express to you that it has been a pleasure for me to have met and enjoyed @MexCocina on my trip to Troy. I am Mexican, born in Sonora and with the fortune of having been raised in different cities in different states of my country (in addition to Sonora, Durango, Sinaloa, Baja California, Oaxaca, Jalisco, Veracruz, Mexico City and Nuevo Leon). Each dish from Mexico is a range of flavors and colors, to the point that if there is one thing clear to me, it is that we have a lifetime to delight our palate. @EmilyMartinez, #EmilyMartinez I generally do not use social networks, however, upon reading your comment, I thought it prudent, with all due respect, to tell you that I do not know, even in Mexico, a Mexican person who can say that they have the privilege of knowing the total of seasonings of our food. Pozole from Guerrero, Veracruz, Mexico City and Sonora are dishes with the same name, but with completely different flavors and presentations. I invite you to give your palate the opportunity to try with total openness those variants of gastronomy that the @MexCocina menu has, and from what I saw, it is clear what I talked about at the beginning. THANK YOU @MexCocina for daring to surprise your guests with those variants that exist in the various regions of Mexico. That is not something common and it actually surprised me very favorably.“

“All of the food was very very good but the asada fries were above and beyond, I will remember those fries for the rest of my life. Portions are large, especially for the price but flavor does not suffer. The drinks are even big, if you get a lemonade they bring you a mini pitcher with a straw. Everyone was super friendly. There's a few tables inside, a couple outside, and a bar you can sit at. But for real, get those asada fries.“

“Everything is spot on here! I’ve never had a bad meal here, everything is always sooo good! The salsa is perfectttt!! I love the grilled chicken quesadilla..the chicken is always so flavorful & the cheese is actually melted! I’ve tried out other Mexican spots and their quesadillas don’t compare to yours! It’s such a nice calm vibe in there, quiet & family oriented! Will definitely be back soon! Will chose this location over the Clifton park location any day!!! So much better“

“Our family loves Los Panchos! The complimentary chips and salsa could be my meal alone. So good! My daughter gets the Panchos Fiesta and it’s so flavorful without being spicy. Mi esposa enjoys different dishes, but tonight the Pollo Fundido. I’m, wow! Delicioso! I keep getting the Birria Tacos, but I’ve to try something different next time. Our picky eater 7 year old loves their mac and cheese, but said the cheese pizza was a 10/10! We always get a half pitcher house margaritas and it’s a perfect family dinner! Trust. So many leftovers too! ??“

“A funky little Bodega that my son introduced me to. Given the location and that it is current in the back of a Mexican goods store in downtown Albany, I was totally and very pleasantly surprised by the excellent food: I had the chicken in mole sauce. Very authentic! And delish! And the service was very pleasant. Overall, well worth the trip!“
“My wife and I had a great meal at this restaurant. 2 Modello’s, a sangria, Enchilada Bandera and Pollo a la Mexicana. Service was fantastic. It was very fast. The enchilada was ok but needed more heat, in my humble opinion. The waiter brought their house sauce and that was the kick that the meal needed. The Pollo a la Mexicana had Jalapeño but was missing a little something. The house sauce added the necessary punch. Overall, a great experience.“

“Came for dinner. Food was good and came out pretty quick. Overall good experience. I recommend the chicken or steak fajitas. You will definitely not be disappointed afterwards. If you have kids that are picky, you may find difficulty in finding something that they would like to eat.Parking: Large private parking lot, but it’s not paved so beware if you come during times of inclement weather you may see flooding.“

“Very nice little spot. Service is prompt and friendly, My dining companion and I each had a quesadilla dish, and we started out with chips and their excellent out of this world salsa. My friend and I stayed a bit ling because we had a lot of catching up to do, and we didn't at all feel rushed, we never felt we were being pushed out. I highly recommend this little goldmine.“

“I come here very often to the point where the waitress Maria sees me and my fiance and smiles and greets us. The waitstaff are super friendly and attentive. The lights are nice and dimmed, and the whole atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The food is absolutely wonderful and flavorful. I love everything I've tried here. Absolutely worth a try as their prices are more than reasonable.“

“One of my favorite Mexican food restaurants I have ever been to. It's 100% authentic, which usually leaves me with no idea what I want. The wait staff listens then recommends something and I have yet to be disappointed. I'd recommend any of the drinks from the bar, as they are pretty standard. Always a good meal at Pancho's.Kid-friendliness: We usually bring our 9 year old with us and he's happy with his fries and Quesadilla.“

“AMAZING oxacan cuisine. Amazing green green salsa and thicker tortilla chips . It's very spicy with lots of flavor. We had chicken mole y chicken quesadilla. FANTASTICO . great Mexican flavors . Rich mole que ricoooooo. Will definitely come again. Waitress was beyond nice and inviting. Good quality togo containers, too, for the large portions. The coffee is very unique and has chocolate taste. For the price, you get a LOT OF FOOD . Great munchies for later. Rice and beans cooked perfecto. I didn't even get a picture because we ate it up so quickly. I would say the quesadilla is more on a drier side, but it didn't bother me, really. It still had good seasoning and flavor. I also got corn tortilla, but you can get flour. Very fresh ! Looked homemade. The chicken was beyond tender for the mole. Stewed just enough to stay on the bone but literally fell apart with the touch of the fork. I'm so glad an amazing Mexican place took over the Troy kitchen spot. It's a well-deserved restaurant for how amazing Troy Kitchen was. The only thing was it was a bit cold, and the lighting was dimmer, but they also just opened it. It really doesn't bother me that much bc the food was just 10/10. The decorations are very traditional, and the napkins are folded cutesy into triangles. A lot of love is put into the whole restaurant, and you can tell. It literally made my morning to walk in at 10 am and get delicious oxacan. I do wanna say if you are not used to more authentic Mexican, you might be very surprised what you get . This way, it is more traditional and not Mexican American.“

“The food is good here! I asked for a spicier salsa and they delivered. The server was also very friendly and the place was a nice vibe. The inside is colorful and they have different artists painted on the walls, although idk how I feel about Pitbull’s portrait lolOverall a good spot to eat at“

“Visiting from out of town and was craving some Mexican food. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The salsa was the best we’ve had in awhile! We ordered the chicken fajitas and the enchillas verdes. Our food came out fast, maybe within 5 minutes? We were surprised! The music wasn’t too loud and I was taken away by the cool architecture/design of the restaurant. They do already add gratuity on the check, so make sure to not overtip (unless you’re into that).“

“Very good customer service. We did not dine in but we waited inside for food. I was able to ask question of the young cashier and she was able to understand my questions and make recommendations on food. I even tried this condensed milk drink I saw other customers having. It was great. We will be back.“

“Stopped by on a trip to RPI. Happy I did!Birria quesadilla was absolutely amazing. So delicious and the meat was tender to the point of melting in my mouth like butter.I also grabbed a few chicken tacos. Likewise fantastic.Food took a while to come out, but it was piping hot and fresh. Sauces brought out were icing on the proverbial cake. The only problem I have is that I don’t live nearby! I’d be a frequent customer!“
