“I have been living in Nassau County since 1987 and have been going to Pollos Mario restaurant since it opened back in 2004. I could tell you I have never seen the type of friendly and professional service that is given by the employees, the place is spotless clean and the food is 10 out of 10 just excellent. my compliments to management who made this my favorite restaurant year after year.“

“This is our “go to “ place for years! Wonderful atmosphere and great food!We recently hosted a party for 50 people and could not have been more pleased with the service and food. The upstairs party room is beautiful and well suited for private events.“

The lobster bisque was 5/5, the skirt steak was delicious but the sides were very bland.My biggest gripe was them not having a bathroom with a baby changing table. It’s 2024, families go out to dinner and having a changing table or a family bathroom should be a no brainer. That was a disappointment and an inconvenience.“

And for entree we always get the porterhouse for two which comes with two sides and its perfect!!!! It has a nice crust on the outside and cooked perfectly inside (med-med rare). “One of my favorite steakhouses on Long Island. The meat is seasoned and smoked to perfection. A little hard to make a reservation, it's only online (resy) unless you have a big party. Very big space but still beautiful. Sushi is always fresh, drinks are great, and don't pass on dessert!“

Their steaks are always perfectly cooked and I have never had to wait even during rush-hour because there’s usually a stool at the bar I can get in quickly in order and have my meal in front of me typically less than 15 minutes.“

“Formerly Palaminos, now Nunzi's is a great place to go out for a delicious meal and some cocktails. The inside was beautifully done over with great modern decor and the food is amazing. Went with my wife and some friends( a party of 5) and each one really enjoyed their meal. My wife had the wild caught Salmon, I had the grilled chicken BLT, our friends had the Lemon chicken, pear salad with chicken and my buddy had the stuffed filet of sole... the sides ranged from delicious homemade mashed potatoes, to fresh broccoli and carrots to nice crispy fries. All came out with beautiful presentation...Hopefully the place will catch on and do well since the name change... Whoever tries it will be back. I'll be back!!“

I'm really great friends with the owner and sometimes it does get super crowded because it is a popular place! Make sure to make reservations because of this. The service of everyone is great they are all really hard working in the restaurant and bar and you can have great conversations with the servers. The ambiance of the place is a bit dark but it has a ton of seatings!“
