“I didn't dine in, as I was working for a residential house. All but one ordered take out. Parking is good but nearly filled up on a Friday night, but I suppose one could park on the adjacent street.The service was great, prompt and courteous. Place looked visually pleasant and dining room lit well.The food was great!!! Absolutely the Black and Bleu burger was pink in the middle!!! The pizza with steak and Bleu cheese and had a balsamic glaze! Who else has that? Um, no one. If someone else does that let me know. Prices were very fair. But, I noticed a one dollar fee for take out. What? Never heard of that, it sent me scurrying for extra change!! Not cool. ?When people know from the menu the prices; they expect to know the final bill. Probably not coming for take out at this place, I might come for dinner.The parking into building is somewhat accessible, by that I mean there is not a button, you can easily get through the door easily as entry is all flat.I forgot to mention, with the selections you may make a menu item minus meat. Ask if an ingredient can be removed due to allergies, They might be able to do it.“

“Stopped by here on the way home from URMC. I ordered the gyro pita for takeoutIt was very tasty and more authentic than other restaurants that serve Mediterranean food. i recommend asking for the tzastiki sauce on the side since pita sandwich was a little messy.I got my order in less than 10 minutes and the price was reasonable. They have an extensive menu of Mediterranean and Syrian cuisine. Parking lot is small but food is worth it. Counter service and food is brought to your table if you are dining in. I will return.“

“Peels On Wheels does great vegan pizza! The toppings are extremely high quality. I don't remember exactly what it was called, but they had this kind of sundried sweet red bell pepper that was out of this world. I had that New York style with shallots, banana pepper rings, and vegan pepperoni. The owner works in the kitchen alongside his employees and really cares about producing superior pizza. Their pies are so much better than what you'll get ordering from a chain!“

“I went with a Junkyard Plate and did a Cheeseburger and a Zweigle's White. The home fries were nice and crispy but it was lacking meat sauce which makes or breaks a garbage plate in my opinion. It was edible without a doubt. It can be very congested inside on the weekends just as a fair warning. I would go back again. My Dave Portnoy score is a 7.2.Parking: Get in the lot if you can otherwise you'll have to utilize street parking. If it's busy on a nice day odds are you'll have to park on the side street.“

“Im gluten and dairy free and this has been a god send. There are so many delicious options that I havent been able to try everything but I want to! The smoothies are some of my favorite with no added sugar which is amazing! Can't recommend it enough“

“This is such a great space for any event! I have my baby shower here for 50 people total. Kristen was so easy to work with and so responsive. She was very flexible with my needs related to the bar, decorations, and set up. The bartender was SO sweet and the drinks were amazing. You can really decorate this place to have the shower or event of your dreams! So thankful for how easy and affordable this was for me.“

“As a chef for a fine dining restaurant, I give Edibles Restaurant a 10/10. I have not been able to eat anywhere since before March 2022 since that was the last time I was off from work to go out for dinner. I am so thrilled that I was recommended this fine establishment with the most down to earth, kind, and most hospitable team members. “Dog friendly. Tasty lil chicken sando. Cider/ beer flight. If that's whatcha want, this place has it all! We did a lil work retreat here and it was a little distracting because the music vibe was more interesting than the work stuff but we made it through. I'm gonna go ahead and give them five stars even though I would've wanted more food options. But they are literally called a beer company so I can't really fault them for that.“

The staff unfortunately wasn't particularly helpful answering questions as a first time guest. The menu prices also were not what was reflected on my receipt (Reg custard listed as $4, charged $4.50 + .75 for sprinkles. Reg HF sundae listed as $5.30, charged $6.80 + .75 for nuts).Otherwise the ice cream was delicious!“

“This was our first visit and it was fabulous. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and just nice to chat with. Our server, Kathryn, was awesome!! Love her. I had the moussaka and it was wonderful. Great flavor! Hubby had the wolf fish/scallop special. Again, delish. Cocktails were great and we got desserts to go. “I've loved this spot since they first opened! They're now expanded. It was really busy when we went in and we were sitting up front in the window seats which wasn't the most intimate spot to have a conversation. Super cute and cozy though. Nice variety of treats in the bakery case. We split the creme brulee which was delicious!! Sadly, their espresso is AWFUL. Third time trying it, figured maybe it wasn't a good night the past two times but not the spot for a coffee drink whatsoever which is too bad. They didn't offer cream, sugar, etc.“

“We visited the restaurant with our daughter and 4 friends for Easter Brunch. The location, food and service were terrific. Service was great (always had someone at the table before our water or lattes were done), the food was worth its cost (portions were large and we all had leftovers for later in the day). Will definitely be back next time visiting our daughter in Rochester.“

Even though I don’t consider myself a coffee snob, I am very particular about the entire experience. The calm, soothing atmosphere of the shop was very welcoming. Since we were first-timers, we asked for a recommendation. The Snug seemed to be what we were looking for. “Lugia's is a great business! I have worked with them twice now booking an Ice Cream Truck. Their employees are kind and reliable and go above in beyond to serve their customers. “I love some live local music. Their beer list was on point for me with some hearty dark options. Of course, there were IPAs, etc, too. We ordered the loaded fries....could have been a heartier serving, but I love that they were waffle fries. The Mark's maple spicy meat lovers pizza was delicious. They have a really comfortable setup with couches, games, blankets, high tops, low tops, and bar seating. Also, they are animal friendly for anyone who has friendly animals. “Love everything about it. Except that it is kind of difficult to find the price of goods in the refrigerator section ? ?. No price tag on the goods or on side or below the goods. So it's difficult to shop, when you don't know how much your paying for??? I only found out that the English claim chowder soup was $10.49 after purchase and have to ask for the receipts ? ? ?. I got to say that all food is delicious but on higher end prices.“

I would love to give a 5 star review, but when I wanted to purchase a bottle of wine I was told that if it wasn’t on the shelf they would bottle it for me. What they failed to mention was that I would be charged $6.00 more than the bottle price because it was considered a growler as they had to pour and seal it on site. “Always a great meal to be had at Flaherty's. Best part is that they have Boddingtons by the can! I typically will order a burger and sit at the bar but I've never really had a bad meal here. “Today I visited SoBol with a couple friends for the first time! We came at around noon, but luckily we were able to grab seating since it appeared as though many people got their bowls to go. Their service was very quick and the atmosphere was very chill. Their menu shows a couple of different options for bowl flavors to choose from, but me and my friends ordered the classic açaí. I added the cookie butter to my bowl and I highly recommend doing so, it was so delicious!! After we chatted and ate our bowls, we went over to the chalkboard to doodle, which was really fun! Overall, if you want to try an açaí bowl (which you should) or you have a craving and want to visit somewhere local, I recommend you give this place a try!“

“From time to time work brings me into Rochester. During a trip my co-worker brought me to Georgie’s for an amazing Cubano w/chicharrones. I enjoyed the food and chats with Georgie. “First time here on NYE and it was awesome. Really cool atmosphere. Yummy draft beers and drinks.Only complaint is there could of been more indoor seating but they had a ton of people in there. It was fun. Food truck had really good pizzas. I will definitely go back sometime and try more of the IPAs. Beer flight and food across the street looked good but it was closed that night. Plenty of outdoor seating which is awesome but not when it's snowing so I definitely recommend this place in the summertime. I bet it's awesome. Really chill place. I like it.“

“Cute little place with a nice rotation of beers. They strive to have a constant rotation, and some of the beers you can have in a half pint at half the price of a pint. Most bars charge a few dollars more for smaller beers (basically a half pint is more expensive per ounce over a pint at other places). A lot of these beers are tough to find in Rochester, so if you find something you like there you may want to go back sooner than later cause they will probably have a new great beer within a couple of weeks. We found them because our regular spot for safe gluten-free food was temporarily closed and we just keep going back. They have gluten-free pastries including apple fritters--a must try! They're not super cheap, but for the convenience of being right in Mendon it's worth it. We have ordered Coffee multiple times and never have been disappointed. They use a local coffee roaster from Avon. The only issue we have ever had is when we order online, they tell us our drinks will be ready in a half an hour, but ends up being about 45. So we are sitting waiting. I'm not sure if they just don't give pick up/online orders priority. Never had an issue when I walk in to order.“

“Nine Maidens Brewing is located in a cool area with other local breweries, winery and restaurants. Upon entering you are drawn to the artwork on the back wall and the high ceilings. They had decent selection of beer and also had a blueberry hard seltzer which we enjoyed the most. Food available from the adjacent restaurant. You could bring in your own too.“

This is the best for folks who like to bring their pups everywhere and I wish I had known sooner. I also heard they have a rockin' weeknight karaoke, and I know my partner and I will be hitting that up at some point in the near future. This is your standard Monroe Ave dive (not the diviest there is but divey nevertheless) and it fits in great with the rest of the Monroe scene. Went with 2 Adults and 3 kids and there were plenty of a selections for both breakfast and lunch fare, with the waffles being the standout.They simply were the best I've ever tasted. The wait staff was super attentive and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to go back, and we won't be waiting until next Easter :)“

“We found this café through my Seed Oil Scout app. We have come to Rochester for the eclipse and I just purchased the Seed Oil Scout app so I thought I would give it a try while we're traveling. This restaurant was recommended as a safe choice and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious! I got the Paleo salad with beef tenderloins. The beef was perfectly cooked, better than most steaks I've gotten. My husband got chicken Parmesan and loved it. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. We are so glad that we canceled the reservation that we had over in the Finger Lakes and decided to just stay closer to the hotel. Excellent decision!“

“We've been hearing great things about CRISP Rochester and it did not disappoint. Despite being a little busy, they handled us with ease and a smile. Food was creative and tasty. There are several options for both vegetarians and vegans. What's really nice is that these offerings aren't an afterthought, rather they are creative options even an omnivore like me can enjoy (my spouse is vegetarian/pescatarian). The pimento cheese appetizer was fantastic. As good as I've had when traveling the Deep South. Unfortunately they were out of the Shrimp & Grits entree we wanted to try, but what we ordered was just fantastic. Our only comments are the "for the table" section's items are more single serving sized than true sharing portions. Still amazing, though we might have ordered more in advance if we'd known. Finally, there was a nice selection of mocktails as well as traditional cocktails. Like the comment about vegan/vegetarian options being creative, it's nice to see creative mocktails instead of just virgin versions of the same tired drinks. We will definitely return.
