“On a Sunday afternoon during our weekend stay in Hudson we ware lucky enough to get a table here and what a treat that was!We got some appetisers and threes different mains for us to try. For a moment it felt like we are in Tuscany and not in Hudson.A definite recommend!It may be our favourite Gem!!!“

“We got married at Vanderbilt Lakeside in August 2023 and had a wonderful experience working with Henrietta and Matt after stumbling upon the venue on Airbnb. It was meant to be because we later figured out that we had frequented Henrietta’s bar, Night of Joy, in Brooklyn when we first started dating and her amazing aesthetic really comes through. We had our closest friends stay with us at the house for the weekend and hosted 100 guests.The look and feel of the space is uniquely chic and quirky all at once with beautiful modern and vintage accents. It's quite whimsical which makes for awesome wedding photos - we didn’t need any additional decor, except for flowers. The backyard/deck space and lakeside views were exquisite in late summer sunshine. The day of our wedding the rain held out for us and we were able to have our ceremony on the lawn, facing the lake and had dinner under a tent on the deck with additional seating in the adjacent room with the sliding doors fully open, and dancing in the bar room under the disco ball. The lawn games and pool table added to the summery and fun atmosphere.Henrietta was very clear in her communication, very responsive, patient throughout our planning process from beginning to end, and offered recommendations for other vendors and services, which were really helpful to us. Henrietta and Matt were also super helpful and flexible in assisting us with our food and beverage selections, answering our many many questions, and providing staff (who were all friendly and professional) when needed. All of the food was truly excellent and everything was served on time. The grilled cheese sandwiches and handcut fries we had as afterparty snacks were a massive hit. Henrietta was also around and available to assist throughout our wedding weekend, which we really appreciated and she communicated well with all of our vendors.We’re so grateful that we found Vanderbilt Lakeside and will forever cherish the memories of our wedding there. We highly recommend it!“

“Relaxing lowkey spot with some major grandma vibes. Classic American breakfast food done right. Fluffy ENORMOUS pancakes, perfect home fries, and tasty crispy bacon. Service was quick and the owners are lovely. Don't be surprised if you have to wait up to 10 minutes to be seated, it's small and clearly word has gotten out about this gem. Highly recommend!“

“I was looking for a coffee-ish shop with good food and stumbled upon Quinnie’s. It’s a little bit outside of Hudson but worth it to ditch the overwhelming crowds on Warren Street. The food was delicious, counter service is always a plus and they have delicious coffee. “Got an espresso to stay. Came with a little cookie which was a nice touch. My pics don't include the spoon cause i left it at the pickup station. Friendly staff and unique environment. Smells like leather and machine oil so if you like that then it's the coffee shop for you.“

Boy, were we glad that we picked this place for dinner while en route via amtrak.We had the Wonton Nacho, State Grill Burger and the Truffle Shuffle Burger. All of it was delicious and our server was so sweet and welcoming, she made us forget that we were anywhere near NYC but closer to a small town kind of hospitality and vibe. “Wow! Great service, atmosphere, and the food was 5⭐️. The workers were very welcoming and pleasant to speak with. A nice intimate setting for both couples and/or larger groups. Highly recommend the steak with truffle tots and duck with broccolini. We left there very happy.“

“My partner and I’s favorite place to go! It’s close by, service is always great. Food is always amazing. I recommend the Monte Rouge breakfast sandwich and the Greek wrap. My partner loves the classic crispy chicken sandwich. The staff is always so friendly and working so hard! Bobs is usually pretty busy, but they keep up! “After meandering down Warren Street we stumbled upon 225 Warren and I’m so glad we did.We were immediately greeted by a friendly host then taken to a table in the main dining area.Service was quick and polite. We had a burger and fish & chips which were both excellent! I also had a Bloody Mary which was incredible especially if you love horseradish!I highly recommend 225 Warren for their hospitality and delicious food!“

“I ate here for brunch, and the food was delicious! The restaurant has a cozy, warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was extremely busy as there was a show happening so it took a while for us to get our food. However it was not an issue for us as we were not in a rush and the prosecco kept flowing!“

The burger is essentially flawless and the chicken wings will ruin other chicken wings for you for the rest of your days. The thai wings will haunt you. Cant wait to try other things on the menu. “I have had back to back 5 star experiences at The Maker. The service impeccable yet incredibly kind and cheerful. The food is off the hook. The octopus ? was transcendent. The eggplant terrine perfection. I’ve had the pleasure of tasting 5 different pasta dishes all of them delicious and not just the sauces the homemade pasta was light and succulent. Truly I love this place.“

“I eat here all the time with my fiance. It's always a great experience, everyone is kind and attentive and the food is great! Today I was having a rough day at work not feeling well and I stopped in for some soup. The hostess who we see all the time was so kind and sent me on my way with some soup on the house instead of sending me back to my car to grab cash as the soup was below the minimum card purchase threshold.
