“If you've been around NYC and vegetarian, you have almost definitely heard of Dirt Candy. It's the epitome of vegetarian fine dining in NYC.I will preface my review by stating that I have not grown up in the fine dining realm; there is probably some level of "appreciation" that I lack. That being said, the food here is great. Presentation, creativity, flavor experience are all on point. However, I couldn't justify the price for the food. I think if you are very curious and want to knock it off your bucket list OR you are someone into fine dining then this is perfect. Otherwise, there are restaurants that I think you get much better bang for your buck for in NYC.“

“Had such an amazing time. Honestly this place deserves two Michelin stars. The service was tremendous. We were celebrating a friends graduation and everyone seemed to know. We did the vegetarian prefix and our friends had the normal menus. The vegetarian menu was fantastic and I never felt like I was getting a second class meal. Drinks were also top notch. Would recommend.“

“This is my favorite Los Tacos No. 1 location because it's right next door to their seafood restaurant. I was able to have my favorite, a grilled chicken taco, along with a spicy shrimp taco and fish taco from next door as well. I was in taco heaven.“

“I've been to Keens before, and I always like it when I'm in Manhattan. The food is good, and the service is great too. I think the steaks could use a bit more seasoning, though. They do mention something about salt on the menu, and I even asked my server to season it well, but it still needed a bit more. But overall, it's a nice place to go.“

“A very good Italian address! Thin and delicious pizzas, be careful they are very large, in the photos they are the small ones! Possibility of having a half & half pizza: one recipe on one half, and a second on the other. Very friendly service. Booking is recommended !Vegetarian options: Lots of meatless pizzas“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“Saw this not too long ago on NBC. It did not disappoint. Lucky we got reservations for the weekend we were in NYC. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. Most have worked there for a loooong time. Our server worked here for over 20 years. The cocktails were terrific as were the steaks and sides. Perfect beef, melts in your mouth. No credit cards for dine in.“

“First time I went early and quality was impressive but second time quality was off. Got the Alaska, spicy tuna and tunascallion and it was okay. The green tea creme brulee was not my favorite as it was so fatty and sweet. Would not get that again. Got the Madi which was my favorite fish. Spicy tuna was my favorite out if all of them and the eel cucumber special was okay.. Not again“

“I think this place is great. Especially for a date night too. The Temaki they serve is great for a 2 bite situation, making it really easy to share between 2… if that’s your thing. To be honest, coming here and getting the classic & signature is just as $ as getting delivery sushi, maybe a bit more expensive but it’s worth it. High quality ingredients & thought out flavors.Personal favorite temaki is the XO scallop. The whole entire restaurant is gluten free by the way, so that might win a lot of people over. The interior & vibe is definitely for a certain demographic and will become aged out within maybe a year or two. The interior is on the same note of that Tend instagram dentist place, and that’s not a compliment. The music they play reminds me of what they would play at like a retail store.Dietary restrictions: The entire restaurant is gluten free & can help gluten intolerance with their meal.“

“Also packed with a line outside the door for late lunch - but the interior is spacious with also outdoor seating! We got the Hell Boy and Mutz, which was a lot flavorful than a typical white pie with a great oomph from the garlic. We've tried the Hell Boy slice at MSG but getting it fresh and hot here is best - the sesame dough crunch is unreal!“

“The servers at Casa Ora are super friendly, focus on their customers and are very attentive. My server Freimar, took time to answer any questions that I had, pertaining to some of the items on the menu .She had such a wonderful personality and really made my dining there, all the more enjoyable. The food I ordered was well seasoned, I should know that, as I am a cooking school grad, and worked at Port Authority of NY and NJ ,four different facilities, in their kitchen and dining room/cafeterias for 20 years and six months. I am also a Veteran of the US ARMY,served for 17.5 years. I totally enjoyed the Pastelito,, The Brisket was most excellent, had a very nice flavor,.There was a mild garlic sauce that I put on it,made it taste even better. I just loved the sweet plantains, which came with sour cream I had a glass of Mongarda Brut Prosecco,, which was very good. I ordered a cup of Cappuccino, which was very good. I really enjoyed this meal and most definitely will return. I plan to bring a very special friend of my family, who is from Peru, the next time that I dine at that restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant, I give them 5 stars and as far as Food Presentation, they get a 10 from me.......“

“Speaking on behalf of the bakery, as someone who has somehow managed to sample almost everything at least once, this is the best bakery in NYC. While my Baba always wants a canoli, I enjoy their fruit tarts and their perfect cream. My father cannot go without a slice of the Sicilian Cheesecake and would buy the whole giant wheel if we let him. The assorted cookies (especially the rainbow cookies) and biscotti are also great. It is a must go if you are in the neighborhood and need a treat.Shout-out to the tiramisu cake we bought for my brother's birthday. Soaked in espresso, perfect marscapone layers and fresh lady fingers. They even did a quick writing job for us.Thank you for all the great treats!“

“I normally recommend this bakery to everyone. However, yesterday morning I went to your Brooklyn location to bring home bombalones for family. This morning the strawberry on top on one is literally covered in mold. This is absolutely unacceptable! Unfortunately I'm already back out of state so I can't even come back to get an exchange. I spent around $75 yesterday.... and I get MOLDY food.“

“Delicious BBQ in Industry City, Brooklyn, NY. The brisket and cornbread were too die for!! So good. The pastrami, thick cut bacon ? was very flavorful but super rich and filling, so please share!! “Had a girls night here. 5 of us, outside table, drinks and dinner before going out on Saturday. Definitely make a reservation. Drinks were average price for WV - 18. They were all excellent tasting (see note below though). Service was great - sirloin sandwich was delicious and well priced. We were not rushed out and vibes were great. We had a great time and I will be back. Note to the restaurant -- the espresso martini was great BUT please change the design, the coffee grounds on the top were cute but they ruin the drink halfway through and get in your teeth.“

“The fried chicken and musubis are some of the best in the city! The mochiko fried chicken is light, crispy, and juicy. It comes with two sauces - spicy mayo or soy glaze. Both sauces complement the chicken well. There are many options of musubis - my favorites were the galbi, yellowtail, scallop, and the spicy tuna tartare. The servers are very nice! We were going to celebrate a birthday and they wrote happy birthday on the menu which was such a sweet touch! The restaurant isn't that big but there are two sections to the restaurant so there are a decent amount of tables. There are many Polaroids on the wall. The prices do add up so the bill will end up being rather high. I would recommend skipping the Mentaiko spaghetti or the rices - the portions are rather small for the price.“

“Before actually visiting Dante, I had featured them in an article on the low ABV revolution for Drinks International. Dante is a shining example of an industry shift towards lighter aperitivo-style drinking establishments. Inspired by their travels in Italy, the team wanted to promote the European style drinking experience to New Yorkers, accustomed to sipping Old Fashioneds, even before dinner. Original founder Naren Young says that customers often hang out for hours, sipping four of five of Dante’s sessionable drinks like the Garibaldi, Americano, Spritz or lighter versions of the Negroni.Dante is an Italian aperitivo hangout done well. Think Bar Termini but on a larger scale. A staff with positive energy, comforting natural lighting throughout the bar, and skilled and happy bartenders making a better rendition of the Garibaldi than in Italy. I had such a great experience at Dante that I was tempted to visit a second time the following morning before my flight back to Milano.“

“I absolutely love these cookies. The line was down the block on a nice fall Saturday afternoon but it moved so fast. 15 minutes from start to finish. Amazing cookies, by far the most unique chocolate chip cookie. They are massive, 1 cookie is like having a large piece of cake with icing. They are not the “grab a handful” type of cookies. They are baked crisp on the outside and gooey melty in the middle- all the time every time! Extremely worth it!!“

“I just had a great experience at Per Se! I was stopping by NYC for my work and personal trips on the East Coast. “I've wanted to try gelato for the longest time but had no idea where to begin, especially given the abundance of options in NYC. Thankfully, I came across a fellow Yelp friend's glowing review of Figo and knew this was just the place. We came on a dreary day, and there were no customers when we arrived, but honestly, I was too excited to care. The interior was cute and green and gave major spring forest vibes. I did my research so I knew exactly what I wanted. My sister, on the other hand, contemplated between pistachio and caffè and ended up going with the latter. Their prices have risen slightly. It's now $7.50 (instead of $6) for a regular cup of gelato, with up to 2 flavors. The portions are huge though, so two people can easily share a cup. * Ferrero Rocher I was dead set on ordering this flavor, and it was everything I imagined it to be. Sweet, smooth, rich, and creamy, with blended Ferrero Rocher bits. I found an almost whole Ferrero Rocher piece at the bottom of my cup and loved the added crunch. * Caffè Absolutely divine and exactly how I like my coffee. This flavor perfectly balanced the sweet and creamy elements of gelato with the rich and subtle, bitter notes of dark roast coffee. Highly recommend!“

“Incredibly delicious coffee. The best cappuccino I've had in the neighborhood. Hamlet is a spacious and industrial-style neighborhood coffee spot. On a weekday, it's full of people on their laptops (which they may want to have better regulation for), but overall there's a lot of space and even more in the warmer months (outdoor backyard). Service is efficient and friendly. I will definitely be back for the coffee. It's hard to find espresso drinks that aren't burned! And Hamlet doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend!“

“Bricolage was excellent. The food totally lived up to the hype. Every dish was packed with flavor, from the delicious summer rolls to the surprisingly flavorful charred eggplant salad. “I visited Hibiscus Cafe less than an hour before closing on a Sunday evening. The café was really busy, and everyone (including myself) was ordering complicated drinks. A few folks ordered things that required ingredients that were out, and something like that could throw anyone off their game at the end of their shift. However, the woman working was handling everything so smoothly and efficiently, and she was just plain awesome. My matcha latte was also delicious! I can’t wait to go back!“

“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. “Easily one of my favorite al vegan spots in Manhattan (and there are plenty to chose from). Went for brunch with non-vegan friends and family and EVERYONE loved it - clean plate club all around. “I recently celebrated my birthday at Vic’s with a group of friends, and it was an absolutely fantastic dining experience from start to finish.
