“Saturday evening dinner without a reservation. Walking in, my eyes immediately gravitated to the pictures of the owners and the many celebrities that have eaten and visited there before. The bar area is very nice and large, with TVs playing sports and news. We were greeted, welcomed and seated immediately. The dining area is very large and decorous. The tables large enough to sit us all. My cousin-in-law and his family frequent the restaurant and he practically knows everyone there, so as we sat, we were introduced to the owners and pretty much about a half dozen waiters and other staff members. All were extremely friendly and welcoming. As expected with all family style restaurants, the tables are very close to one another but positioned in a way that still allowed for ample space for you to move and sit comfortably. When we sat, there were hardly any people there, but within an hour it was full of patrons and large families. It was loud, but manageable. The food was unbelievably delicious. I haven't had true traditional family style Italian food in a long time. From the Fried Calamari and cold antipasto appetizers, to our Veal Parmigiana, Penne allá Vodka with Shrimp and prosciutto entrees. Paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon Palermo Napa, I truly enjoyed my meal. I haven't enjoyed food this good in a long time. My girls shared a huge plate of Chicken fingers and fries, and they loved it. I highly recommend anyone who's in the area to dine here. You won't regret it. Thank you for a great meal and patronage.“

“This restaurant is the greatest. The owner and he husband are extremely nice and their food is excellent. Our 2 year old always enjoys the food herself. They have an extensive menu and the dishes are made fresh after you order. The appetizers such as the baby octopus and shrimp wrapped in bacon are on another level. The picaña is also amazing. Most people who are there are regulars. Very relaxing atmosphere as well.“

So I had decided that we should try the New Restaurant Voodoo Crab in Massapequa and let me tell you, it was definitely better than I expected. The food was good, definitely reminds me of hook and reel up in Hicksville or sexy crab in Levittown… Food is definitely comparable and was very good. But What made this experience AMAZING was the impeccable customer service that we received! Lilliana was our waitress and she was wonderful to say the least… If I can give a 10 star rating for service, I would've given them a higher star. But the best part was the owner of the restaurant coming around to make sure everything was well with us. He definitely went above and beyond making sure that we were completely satisfied. And besides singing the regular, happy birthday to us, they surprised us with a couple of free desserts because of our birthdays. Not sure if that's a normal practice but I'd have to save out of the three restaurants mentioned, Voodoo Crab is now my absolute favorite because of the service! If you're looking for a great atmosphere, with great food, very fair pricing, and the best service I've had in a long time… I would highly recommend Voodoo Crab to you! “My family and I tried Park Avenue Grill because of their large gluten free menu. The brunch food was excellent. I tried the gluten free churro waffle bites, which were divine, and GF Tuscan eggs Benedict. There was also a decent sized vegan menu! Their specialty lattes were delicious. “Fukee, and their Staff make for a great Sushi experience. They are super friendly, and keep their restaurant very clean. The food is great, from the dressing on the salad to the Hamachi Kama, the rolls are the proper size with quality fish and can be customized to your liking - they remember me and make sure my rolls are seed free and cut into 8 Pieces - Thank you May!! I highly recommend trying them out, esp for the lunch special as its an easy way to try their food for less money then a dinner, find what you like and then go in for a nice dinner with friends as they can accommodate larger groups and have a great bar too.“

I had the bone in rib eye, and for the table we ordered hash browns, green beans, crispy onions, Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach.The creamed spinach was amazing, along with the rest of the sides.The steak was incredible, cooked to a perfect medium with just the right amount of seasoning, and incredibly tender.It's not cheap at over $800 (including tip) for 5 people, but for the first time I think it was worth the price.“

The dim sum sampler is a great introduction to figuring out what you like. The fried rice with bone marrow was definitely something unique to try. Forgetting a lot of ingredients and when I asked for a little salmon with my spicy tuna, she literally put one piece of it. I always pay extra for the salmon add on but she didn't let me explain. Then when my mom wanted peanuts on her order, she put a pinch of it. I'm sorry but I don't know if I can keep going somewhere and constantly telling them what to put on when she keeps looking back at the menu and still forgets. Before her, I had no problem at all! Literally would come here at least 2-3 times a week. Also you guys should put more seasoned tuna bc I always get the number 2. They never have any left and just put the giant onion pieces which I hate.“

“I must have passed Galleria Pizzeria a 100 times. Finally went in. Only had apps but they were all delicious. Had the stuffed artichoke and the chicken scarp wings. The wings were prob the best I have had. Loved the sauce they were in. They had a veal chop special tonight pounded thin on the bone with vodka sauce or red sauce. Looked awesome. Their menu was a little limited for basic fair. I had spaghetti and meat balls, and several others had cheese ravioli.Parking: Their small parking lot was full, and apparently it appears to be full most of the time. Several of us had difficulty parking across the street on a busy highway. But it is located on waterfront.“

The inside seating is great for colder weather with a view... but when the weather is nice, you can't beat dining right on the water. There are tables along 2 docks to eat at. There are also seats and bar stands directly on the beach below the dock. There is also an adult area and a family friendly area! The sunsets are unbeatable if you go at the right time. They also decorate very well and the lights look beautiful! The drinks are good and the service is great with a very kind, attentive staff. The parking situation is an absolute nightmare if you don't live in the area, and the wait times can be very long during peak season. Definitely plan accordingly! If this review was based solely on food, I'd likely give my Surf & Turf meal a 3/5. It was good, but not anything special. The side of broccoli was almost completely raw. Overall, Buoy Bar is such a cool place and I'd absolutely recommend coming here for some apps and drinks and enjoying the views!“

Food was delicious, portions were huge and the service was impeccable. Wine is available for an additional charge. The owner came by before and after our meal to thank us for coming by and to ensure we enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended this neighborhood establishment! Also, I’d like to add on the recommendation of our attentive waitress we ordered a snack pizza as an appetizer for”National Pizza Day”. Loved the addition of cucumber to the drink to balance it and give it a little refreshing aspect. Food wise we just got a smattering of tacos (Luger, Tropical Lobstahhh, Birria, Al Pastor, Carne Smack Dat Asad and the Cali-Flower) just to try and sample a little of everything. First and foremost, the portions are legit - they don't skimp out so you'll be full or even have extra to take home. Taste wise, my top 3 were the Luger, Lobster and Cali-Flower. All very flavorful and unique in their own way. Definitely will be back once the weather heats up!“

We quickly received our drinks. The food? They have a big selection of slices available , I usually get the brick oven pizzetta which is delicious. Their garlic knots are some of the best around. They also have pasta nights and chicken nights where there are specials on those dishes.
