“I have been here twice and both times I had an amazing time! The food here is great! I have had the brisket sandwich, the steak tidbit sandwich and the French dip sandwich, all comes with French fried that are so deliciously yummy as well. “Neighborhood bar / pubThe Newbridge Inn has been kicking it for a long time now and it has a faithful following of locals that keep the place rocking.Been here a number of times over the years and well, never had a bad experience.Great drinks and bartenders and better than average food are available at the bar.The unexpected and ridiculously good white pizza w onions was a most pleasant surprise- who would have expected such a delight from a place where the typical app is wings or nachos?There is some outdoor space in the rear and the only downside to the place is that parking can be hard to come by - you'll have to park directly on busy Jerusalem ave.Definitely give it a shot - worth a trip just for the pizza“
“Second time at the Bayhouse and it was okay. Bayhouse is definitely a good place to go for a nice view. You can see the water from every part of the restaurant. I got the boiled seafood combo that contained flounder, shrimp, broccoli and potatoes. It was definitely breaded and topped with a lemon sauce. Flavor is definitely there, but I will say the sauce was very oily. Crème brûlée cheesecake was 10/10!! Overall the food was good. Although our server was nice service was very slow.“
“Not your run of the mill City Island restaurant, I hope Archies can survive through all these pandemic shut downs. The food was really quality, creative and curated compared to anything on city Island. They definitely would not sell tilapia Frankenfish here. I remember visiting one of the more stylish restaurant on City Island, I was so disappointed to see tilapia on the menu and I could not finish my food. “I really liked the sweet plantains but the churros were super small and came in the pieces but ice cream was large for no reason cause the churros were literally smaller than my fingers , I liked the the empanadas and the street corn a-lot , they’re were also kind enough to send some extra sauce that I asked for , they were super friendly on the phone .“

“We met for a birthday bite at West Bar and Lounge. Don't let the location fool you. It may not be as lucrative as dining in Soho, but it's still a great neighborhood, and it's quite easy to get there.When you first walk in, it's dimly lit, so don't complain. Your eyes will adjust. We went in a few minutes after it opened, so you'll catch the staff still prepping for the day.We were greeted by a waitress and seated. We ordered our drinks (they were great! I recommend the hurricane) while we viewed the menu. We decided on the crab dip with chips and crab legs for appetizers. For the main course, we ordered ribeye steak with smashed? (mashed) potatoes and broccoli and lamb chops with wild rice and asparagus, and a side of Mac cheese. Believe me when I tell you, the food was absolutely delicious ?. “It's Saturday afternoon, my wife and I were in the Glen Head and Sea Cliff area. We decided to have a light lunch locally. My wife had been to Gallagher's Pub in Sea Cliff the previous night with her girlfriends and thought they had great food. We walked in to a quaint Irish pub and were greeted by Marcus. He smiled and remembered my wife from the night before. We sat down and viewed the menu. Nice selection of food and drinks. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a soda and I had Smithwick beer. A good Irish ale. We decided on the French onion soup. It was served hot and was delicious! We ate and talked and some of our friends came in and visited with them. Good times. My wife was full after the soup , so she ordered some French fries. I ordered a buffalo chicken burger with onion rings. I thought I try something different the chicken burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. We enjoy our meal and visiting with our friends. Marcus gave us a tray for our leftover with a note on the cover. See the photos. It seems Marcus adds a special note to his customers. This was a nice and unexpected surprise. We enjoyed our time at Gallagher's. The wait service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I strongly recommend Gallagher's Pub. “Great bustling place me and my friends found(friendship bbq lol) it was completely random night,looking for something to eat no research before hand. When we walked thru the ramp and then opened the doors we were so surprised how busy it was.Because of that the service wasn’t that great.We had no idea what we were in for. You order on an iPad then they bring out the skewers. We were completely clueless but once we started to eat,girlllll it was so delicious! The top 3 things I’d recommend are the corn ,Mongolian beef and fried rice.The raw beef is suppose to be eaten raw. We weren’t feeling risky enough to eat it like that so we ended up waiting a good while for them to cook(never again).Drinks weren’t so fueled with alcohol, i personally like mines strong. I saw the team sing the most epic happy birthday song! After we were done I went to the bathroom where there was mouthwash! Completely blown away. We got free dessert by the time we were leaving! Liz is the best and was t there when I was there but these young kids bartenders needs to pay attention the older customers who will tip better if they are given better service . “My husband, my one year old son, and I always come here! It's always something special or on a whim. We love the fact we can dine here and have an experience with little to no issues. We love having Juanito as our server! He's kind, professional, friendly and always makes the best drinks. He has really shown his personality with us and we sincerely appreciate that! To my embarrassment , my one year old knocked his food off the table and Juanito understood! As a new mom, things like that have us feeling so apologetic!! But I am appreciative that he was not annoyed and he also shared his experiences. He is always making us feel welcomed and I am so happy to write this review to praise him and his work ethic. “Had lunch there today, with my wife and daughter. We had a reservation which was good as the place was busy (230pm). We had wings to start which were good. Our three meals were prepared correctly and nice and hot. The apple pie for dessert is excellent. Our waitress along with the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. “Went sat nite with another couple and had wonderful experience . Wish other places would take notice how to provide services and good food ! Table ready at said time of reservation . Nice round table . Offered drink menus etc as we sat down . Waitress was exceptional . As we sat down we were presented with a basket full of fresh baked soft pretzels . Now they give these for free and more if we asked and now I have been to many similar type places that have the GIANT pretzel for 15$ . Really ? We get our own here complimentary . Ordered if I remember correctly two steak sandwiches , 1 chicken burrata , 1 vodka with meatballs and 2 tuna bowls . Steal sandwiches cooked perfectly medium rare as requested (not over cooked and tuff at other places) bread was soft and warm and cut in thirds ( how thoughtful ) . Chicken burrata was a hefty plate of food that my buddy didn't finish but was Deelish . The vodka pasta with meatballs was also excellent the sauce had great consistency not runny or watery and 4 large meatballs most and mouthwatering ! I sampled one bc my kid couldn't finish ! (My finicky nephew would have ) . The women ordered the tuna Bowls they said the tuna was cooked properly but the accompanying stuff that is supposed to make up the bowl was disappointing ( they would get sonething else next time ) Only glitch was we ordered a salad to share as appetizer and it never came and the waitress was truly apologetic . Not the end of world! We were stuffed for dessert but my kid was disappointed they removed the camp fire cook at table s'mores dessert ( she loved it in the past ) . That was made up for with the tremendous offering of pink cotton candy for table complimentary ! Who doesn't like a little cotton candy . So to recap free pretzels , great food offering , great service and free dessert and of course great company equals wonderful evening . Will be back sooner than later !“
“We went back to Louie's for a family dinner after many years.Food was very good this time, much improved from what I remember from years ago, but it probably also depends on what you order (we had the branzino and ahi tuna).They have a unique waterfront location so hopefully they'll continue improving the food quality and service to achieve a five star level.“
“Their corn / seafood chowder is my favorite soup ever !! They have won the Chowder Fest for the last few years. Their crab cakes, mussels , lobster rolls are always excellent. I have to watch what I eat as I am allergic to calamari and can't eat anything cooked with it , even in the same frying basket, and they always make sure I'm safe !! Everything is fresh and delicious and Heidi, the bartender is excellent ! All of the staff , when I am there has always been great and Hughie the owner , runs a great restaurant . Also in the summer when the outside Tiki Bar is open and there is live music, it's always wonderful .“
