“My husband, my one year old son, and I always come here! It's always something special or on a whim. We love the fact we can dine here and have an experience with little to no issues. We love having Juanito as our server! He's kind, professional, friendly and always makes the best drinks. He has really shown his personality with us and we sincerely appreciate that! To my embarrassment , my one year old knocked his food off the table and Juanito understood! As a new mom, things like that have us feeling so apologetic!! But I am appreciative that he was not annoyed and he also shared his experiences. He is always making us feel welcomed and I am so happy to write this review to praise him and his work ethic. Thanks to Nordstrom for hiring a wonderful individual such as Juanito. 5 stars for food, ambiance and of course... the amazing service— always! “I have been here twice and both times I had an amazing time! The food here is great! I have had the brisket sandwich, the steak tidbit sandwich and the French dip sandwich, all comes with French fried that are so deliciously yummy as well. I will most definitely be coming back and trying out the rest of the menu! Stay tuned for more!“
“Neighborhood bar / pubThe Newbridge Inn has been kicking it for a long time now and it has a faithful following of locals that keep the place rocking.Been here a number of times over the years and well, never had a bad experience.Great drinks and bartenders and better than average food are available at the bar.The unexpected and ridiculously good white pizza w onions was a most pleasant surprise- who would have expected such a delight from a place where the typical app is wings or nachos?There is some outdoor space in the rear and the only downside to the place is that parking can be hard to come by - you'll have to park directly on busy Jerusalem ave.Definitely give it a shot - worth a trip just for the pizza“
“Quaint little bar with great wing and drink specials on Wednesdays and has been a quintessential part of the Wantagh bar scene for about as long as I can remember and even before that. You can always count on friendly faces and cold drinks but definitely be prepared to bump some elbows when it gets busy because it gets tight! Plenty of parking both in the from and back of the bar.“
“I really liked the sweet plantains but the churros were super small and came in the pieces but ice cream was large for no reason cause the churros were literally smaller than my fingers , I liked the the empanadas and the street corn a-lot , they’re were also kind enough to send some extra sauce that I asked for , they were super friendly on the phone .“
“Second time at the Bayhouse and it was okay. Bayhouse is definitely a good place to go for a nice view. You can see the water from every part of the restaurant. I got the boiled seafood combo that contained flounder, shrimp, broccoli and potatoes. It was definitely breaded and topped with a lemon sauce. Flavor is definitely there, but I will say the sauce was very oily. Crème brûlée cheesecake was 10/10!! Overall the food was good. Although our server was nice service was very slow.“
“Great local stop. Wings were great...should have been on list via social media as some of best of Long Island. They do lack social media, ie Instagram. They could benefit from that. Staff seems great. Drinks cold and fresh. Nice inviting atmosphere. Just need an Instagram to keep up and remain relevant“
“BK Sweeney's is a popular Long Island bar located in Garden City that offers classic American bar fare. During my recent visit, the 'BKS Angus Steakhouse Burger' stood out as a winner for me. It was perfectly cooked, though the fries were a bit bland. However, the service wasn't great - our waitress not only ignored us throughout the entire meal, but also forgot to bring out all three of our appetizers. When we raised it to her attention, she asked if we wanted to take them to-go...who would ever want to get charged and take them to-go? We ended up canceling them entirely. You might be curious about my 4-star rating for this restaurant. Despite this recent hiccup, my previous visits to BK Sweeney's were issue free. I believe it is not fair to penalize the entire business for the actions of one waitress. I'll definitely be returning soon to give it another go.“
