Eating at ala Carte Istanbul is like eating at one of the restaurants in the city of Istanbul in Turkey the food is so authentic well prepared and executed beautifully each item on the menu is guaranteed to satisfy you the kebabs are marinated just right and cooked just right and overall the chefs are very accommodating with all of your needs and requests must visit and must eat at this New York gem!
One of the best Turkish Restaurants in Manhattan! What a lovely hidden treasure! A small and classic Manhattan restaurant that has been kept the same way for over forty years! I guarantee every dish you order will take your taste buds to satisfaction! You will feel full but find yourself wanting to eat more and more because the food is so freshly made and delicious! Chef Ibrahim is the best Turkish cook in Ny!!!

Ate here with some friends a couple weeks ago - everything that contained eggplant was delightful, including eggplant salad & moussaka. Lamb dishes were great, as were the stuffed grape leaves - not super sour as some can be. Grilled octopus was a little tougher than I would have preferred, but I think I'm used to it cooked differently. Another great thing was that we wanted full bottles of wine which they don't serve so owner let us buy from the store across the street!!
