Barbuto is terrific. Really cool far west village location and it's a large space with a big bar (where we had a great house martini prior to dinner, the best way to eat out). i’ve only got a blurry photo of my dinner but this place is a solid institution for eating and it’s always gonna hit on all notes. i recall the salsa verde being a bit looser and more robust in herb flavor, but the scallops compensated for anything i may had been missing. the salads were absolutely stellar. our server was also super nice and kept the energy up through the whole dinner. the cookies that finished were as good as mom/ nonna made. great date night.
