The place makes very good pizza. I ordered a large pie with mushrooms, peppers, and (green) olives. It was very good. The crust was nice and crispy but still chewy in the center. Despite the generous toppings, the pizza retained its integrity and did not flop. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a no-nonsense pizza in East Harlem.
10 out of 10. They make great pies and sandwiches. Their cheese slice is a classic, and the crust is always amazing. The service is good. Most of us just go to the counter, make eye contact, say our order, and wait for confirmation. If the wait is long, you can run an errand, come back, and they got you. It can get packed in here, and there is only one table to sit and eat at. They keep the shop clean and it's a casual atmosphere. Go inside and get a slice, pie, and / or samdwhich.
