Great ramen spot.The Potato Wrapped Shrimp was good, but I preferred the Takoyaki... Which was delicious.I had the Zurutto Miso - which was quite tasty (great tea egg). My wife had the Zurutto Tantan which was a little to heavy on the oil, but still pretty good.
TLDR; best ramen in the neighborhood! I've been to probably 20+ in midtown/UES/EV.Ambiance (5/5): The establishment is huge and spacious with the room being divided in two rooms. It's a couple restaurants combined into one (Zurutto, Tenzan, Omakase Shihou). One side has a counter/kitchen and the other a full bar. It's quiet, brightly lit, and ornate. I am very picky with my ramen and I love this place - probably my favorite in the city so far.The sweet potato tempura was decent, a bit dry for me but I think its because its with the special salt rather than a sauce.The ramen was fantastic! Checked all my boxes -✅️ affordable✅️ chashu is delicious and smoky (its blowtorched)✅️ broth is flavorful but not too salty✅️ nitamago is delicious and you get BOTH halves✅️ generous amount of meatHighly recommend :)
