“Absolutely amazing atmosphere, it's nice to finally find a place with the genuine charm and character that other taverns try to emulate.They are cash only, so bring money or use their ATM. They end up donating the extra 3% that would normally be given to the CC companies to local charities.The menu has a good selection of standard pub fare, with using descriptions and anecdotes. We got the Reuben, French Dip, and had to try their hamburger. The portion sizes are large, well worth the price. Chips are great and the sweet potato ones even moreso.We tried to fit a dessert in as well, and the massive cookie sandwhich is very much Massive! Would be a challenge to eat one on your own if that was the only thing you ordered. Definitely enough of a dessert to split between four people.It was only our first visit, but we'll definitely be making this one of our regular spots.Vegetarian options: Most of the salads and a few appetizers contain no meat.Dietary restrictions: All fried items are fried in peanut oil, so if you have a peanut allergy you'll need to stick to fresh foods and sandwhichesParking: Shared lot with the strip mall, and a few spots down a side road.“

“This is a really fun karaoke bar! The staff are super nice, reasonable prices. Amazing song selection. The only thing that would make this place better is a decent pub menu, like wings, fries, burgers, ect. So if you are renting a room for a party, don't expect much in the way of food options. Still giving it 5 stars.“

“Place is very unassuming from the outside. Didn't have a reservation but they were very accommodating to get us in for a Saturday night. The food was phenomenal. The staff took time to get into great conversations.Parking: Either park on the street or the Dollar General parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Won't recommend bringing kids. The menu is not meant for children.“

“more recently, this pub started having a deejay on Saturday nights from 8p-12. The deejay played a good chunk of throwbacks, which was a nice switch up from hearing the same stuff on the radio.He even took song requests.There's two pool tables and you need quarters to start a game. The kitchen was open all night so you can order wings and fries.& now that its fall and the evenings are cool they have a nice fire pit in the back too that you can enjoy!This is a RitaRannts Recommendation location! “Well, they are two for two with our visits and review of 5 Stars! Our waitress, Samantha was our server again. As pleasant and on top of service as before. I went with the pastrami Reuben and my wife ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. The bread/toasted just crisp, the meat(s) were on the nicely rare side. The sides, steak fries and macaroni salad were excellent!! Real Heinz ketchup, a must with fries! Beverages were on tap. Only slight issue were the nacho and salsa appetizer, chips are just so so and salsa the same. Would not order again. Ambiance was great (big screen TV) and warm decor. Looking forward to another trip soon. Thanks again, love all the locals at the bar too!!“

“This review is for Pam’s Pub and Grille from 01/2024 and on. Ownership and the name has changed. This is a place that I’ve been proud to call my second home since 2020 and that’s almost entirely due to the Friday bartenders. This is not some obnoxious over the top place that tries too hard. This is what a “hole in the wall” truly is. It’s got history, charm, and personality.Now the alcohol is what it is. Whatever hard liquor and mixed drinks you want are mostly available. If they don’t know how to make your bougie viral drink, they’ll look it up and do their damn best to accommodate.The beer selection is ok but limited due the amount of space. And that’s ok. Don’t come in asking for some spaceship triple IPA with your man bun and childish beard. Ain’t gonna happen.The food is a work in progress. Prices are higher than they should be for what you actually get. The kitchen isn’t some gourmet Michelin rated place. It’s a bar first. Fried food as far as the eye can see. But it’s small by nature and that’s just the way it is. There is a goulash from time to time as a special that’s probably the best thing I’ve eaten there. No seafood, no steaks, no bbq. Burgers, wings, salads, and quesadillas. The chili is sweet which takes you by surprise when the nachos are smothered in it. Don’t order the nachos. Why this food crime continues here is beyond me.This place is perfect as a dive bar. Filled with locals and some travelers. If you’ve made it this far in this review, just go. Walk in the door and grab a seat. Do you like alcohol? Perfect. Are you trying to impress your in-laws? Go somewhere else.“

“I love this place! Believe me, everything you read about the chicken wings here is spot on. They are meaty, juicy, and delicious. Jen helped me out and she couldn't have been nicer. She even started singing behind the bar! That's the kind of neighborhood spot this is. It feels like it's been around for 100 years and everyone is made to feel welcome. I can't wait to return because there were so many items on the menu and so many beers on tap it's impossible to conquer it all on just one visit. This is the perfect dive bar.“

“Voted best dive bar in Albany. They are proud of that title and their Irish heritage! Light atmosphere. Everyone seems happy. No drama. We had some cold beers and a basket of cooked to perfection fried foods which included mozz sticks, onion rings, fries, and chicken tenders. Enough to share with many. Great jukebox too. “The place is small and the food is great, which makes it often really busy. If you plan to come in peak-hours, plan for a wait.However, for me, the wait was well worth it!The chicken wings I ordered were perfect. Well-sourced, not too fatty, not dry, and cooked to perfection. The ranch was delicious (not the watery-grocery-store-kind). Plenty of carrots and celery to bite on in between the wings! The side of fries that I ordered was served is a cute cast iron mini-pot!Parking: If you're going there for the first time, take a note of the extra parking lot they offer, as there's very limited parking available right by the restaurant.“

Wait times on Sunday morning are over 40 minutes and because of the crowds the service is (was) subpar. “I went to the Mill on Round Lake with my wife, daughter and 1 year old grandson. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious. I had one of the specials - the Reuben sliders...so good. We all enjoyed our food and the relaxing atmosphere. The staff even filled up my grandson's bottle with milk a couple times. It was our first time there and we're all excited to go back.“

“Heritage bar and fly and shaker road. Nice bar they have popcorn and nuts. They don't serve food, but if you want something to eat. There's a Stewart's right next store. It's a very nice atmosphere. Have a lot on tap Blue Moon course to name a few.Love you check it out, we did.“

“A friend of mine, who loves Ravenswood suggested we go there and I'm glad he did.The service was especially attentive, even during the busy lunch hour. My salmon burger was very tasty. Usually I am content with less expensive lunch options (soup and salad) however, Ravenswood was a nice change and worth it.“

From the PBR on tap to amazing handcrafted cocktails with Japanese whisky and homemade green tea syrup... well actually all their syrups are homemade... great mix of folks from the neighborhood and beyond. Classic retro movies on the screen and a delightful soundtrack of chill old school tunes. Their hours are generous- so you might opt to stay a while and you will not regret it. “I ordered take out from Door Dash. I had The Club sandwich with fries. The sandwich was delicious and flavorful. The fries were warm and almost soggy, but they were still edible and had great flavor. I am sure they would have tasted great if I had them fresh. I will definitely order from there again, and maybe even stop in.“

“My husband and I have been coming here for 12 years. The staff is always pleasant, the food/drinks are both good and affordable. The turn over from entering the restaurant to getting your food is very quick, even when busy, but you never feel rushed. It’s impressive for a chain restaurant to maintain the level of consistency we have always found here.“

“the food here was really good! we got the ditch fries as an appetizer and they were so good! i got a personal pizza, my party got a french dip sandwich, a southwest chicken wrap, and a build your own burger. the portions were nice and big and we went early so there was barely anybody there. our waitress was really nice. there is bar seating or table seating but there aren't a ton of tables in there so I would recommend going early if you are going on a busy night. overall, i don't know why the reviews are so low! definitely coming back soon!“

“This is an extremely busy restaurant, loud, difficult to converse without almost yelling. But, people are happy, laughing, seeking to genuinely enjoy the atmosphere and food. Waitstaff were timely, incredibly efficient, friendly & smiling..Love that in such a thankless industry! Reuben was delicious though I wish for the tang of kraut instead of just braised cabbage! But, nonetheless delicious, Tots were crisp and HOT ~ . Worth that wait, noise, delicious food and great staff!“

“In the past year, I’ve ordered an appetizer, the flatbread pizza at least 3 times. It’s always been delicious with just a little bite to it. Tonight I ordered it and it was excessively spicy hot. My tongue and lips were on fire! We told our waiter and he said he’s had other complaints this past week about it being very spicy hot. I couldn’t even eat it. My husband switched meals with me. The waiter did ask if I’d like something different but seeing my husband switched it wasn’t necessary. Has this menu item been changed?“
