“My friend and I were grateful that the table requested (booth) was provided. We both had the grilled cheese (we both asked and received the alteration of Swiss cheese only) and the tomato bisque soup. Delicious! Server was appropriately attentive and efficient, and professional.“

“Mouth-watering and thoughtful menu with creative, nuanced and seasonal inspirations for both food and beverage options. I was very impressed by the shishito peppers, general tso’s chicken bites, french dip and the espresso martini. The apps were perfectly battered, crispy and flavorful. The French dip just hit so right- tender meat, savory au jus, warm, perfectly toasted bread. The fries were perfect- exactly what you’d imagine if you are craving fries! And the highlight of our entire night was our bartender Halsey. Her genuine care in curating our experience cannot be matched. She made great suggestions, interjected with playful humor, read when our group wanted time to chat amongst ourselves, and made a PHENOMENAL cocktail. I mean, the most serious espresso martini anyone could hope for without the overstated hipster flair. 10/10. Would go back just for her. Watching her interact with her other bar guests was also a treat- it’s easy to see how she can command the room & keeps a mighty fine bar! Will certainly be back!“

“We have been twice now when we are in the area and had Joellen as our waitress each time. She has been amazing each time; making sure to check in and tell us any details! The food is always amazing in quality and quantity. We always bring leftovers home. Fried pickles are delicious (and spears! So there any many to share). Mac and cheese is delicious and homemade. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Our choice for Schenectady Restaurant Week was Turf Tavern in Scotia, we have never been....it was delicious! I ordered off the restaurant week menu, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Prime Rib, Creme Brulee (this also came with a salad). Hubby had a Wedge Salad and the Sweet Cherry Pepper Pulled Pork. Everything was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor, although I did need a little salt...Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!“

“It started out a little rocky due to the hostess being confused on who was waiting first and yet they wrote down our names lol but me being me I took over to help and everyone was seated in the correct order. Our waitress was one of the best waitresses that I've had in my life! She was attentive to my children and myself. She laughed with us and gave us her recommendations. The ambiance is cute it has a boat vibe. The challah French toast was good as well as the classic breakfast but the turkey bacon is nasty for sure, I'm not sure what brand they use but they need not to use it any longer.“

“This place is a gem. We went here when the line at Jumpin Jacks was winding through the parking lot.The food here was reasonably priced. We got a deluxe cheeseburger (delicious), a fish fry platter (husband LOVED it), and chicken fingers. The platter came with an entire bowl of coleslaw, which was a pleasant surprise. After dinner we got a push pop, small cone and medium cone. All in all we spent less than $40 for 3 people to have dinner and dessert. We will be going here lots over the summer. There was plenty of seating inside. A line did form after we sat down, but it wasn't out the door. The staff was super friendly. It was a great experience. Highly recommend.Parking: Small parking lotKid-friendliness: It's called Dairy Circus y'all. It's made for kids.“

“First, the good... The raspberry oatmeal pancakes might be the best stack of pancakes I have ever eaten. Incredible! Now, the not so good. Wait times on Sunday morning are over 40 minutes and because of the crowds the service is (was) subpar. Got my order wrong, no coffee refills, etc. So, plan ahead, prepare to wait and do not expect service that matches the food.“

“$60 pp for a single cocktail 2 apps and a salad. Not busy at all on a Monday even though many other places are closed. Consistently better than average and takes it up a notch if you’re looking to impress. Still cozy enough.Vegetarian options: Few options and fewer veganWheelchair accessibility: Not great entry but ok once you’re in“

“It was my first time at the Bourbon, I had the best experience ever thanks to Lucy and Jim They treated so good and welcomed me so well. I will definitely come back and bring my friends with me for a wonderful hangout. Lucy is the best bartender. If you go there ask for Lucy for sure to.mix your drinks.“
“I must say I have not been here for years. The Pandemic didn't help.Tonight, in a new setting, Seven Is above the norm for their hospitality, attention to detail, and caring of the guests that come here. This establishment is working towards recognition. The rest will follow.“
“It definitely has a large beer menu and I was really happy with my beer. Also it's nice and dark. Really good location because it's next to offices, downtown and train station. If you like Schenectady then this bar probably has the best beer.“

“All together, everything turned out to be pretty mediocre.Tried to order online but the preferred service wouldn't allow me to check out, something to do with the menu prices being incorrect. So I called in the order, which at first they stated they don't do, but after my explanation their online system was borked they relented and took it.Went with the onion rings and the waffles and chicken, and came to around $31 before tip. Had put in my pickup for 4:00PM but when I arrived at 4:05PM the order still wasn't ready. In fact I ended up sitting at the bar area until 4:20PM, a rather significant delay for the order I placed at noon time.Got home and dug in, immediately being disappointed in the onion rings for their size. They're the shoestring variety, which is great for on sandwiches and salads, but as an appetizer or finger food they are kind of annoying to consume. The rings are just far too small to properly enjoy. That said, the dip that came with them paired perfectly. Then there was the chicken of the chicken and waffles which was beyond salty, I think the chef might have accidentally poured a tad to much salt into the buttermilk breading. Could almost feel my blood pressure going up. The waffles were alright though, the spicy honey butter they were topped with had soaked into the waffles and made them soft and sweet. Though not spicy at all.Overall it was an alright way to end the week, probably could have been better, but I'm satisfied.“

“Voted best dive bar in Albany. They are proud of that title and their Irish heritage! Light atmosphere. Everyone seems happy. No drama. We had some cold beers and a basket of cooked to perfection fried foods which included mozz sticks, onion rings, fries, and chicken tenders. Enough to share with many. Great jukebox too. A good time was had by all in this little neighborhood bar. Cheers!“
“I've been here for dinner and it was amazing. In addition, we hosted a baby shower there this past weekend. From start to finish, it was perfect. the owner was so easy to work with, the food was amazing, they accommodated anything we asked. The atmosphere is so cute! Whether you are looking for a meal or an event, give them a try.“

“This is a very cool spot. The atmosphere can't be beat- it's somewhat of a "hidden gem" being tucked away on the second floor of building overlooking Lark St. Food has been phenomenal each time I've gone. Everything is packed with flavor and has a unique touch. Chicken fried rice, the short rib, and the meatball appetizer are a few of my personal favorites but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Albany and I can't wait to go back“

“Our server was great! However, she was responsible for too many tables, so in spite of her best efforts, our service was poor. We were planning on having some dessert, our server was so busy with other tables that we decided to pass on that.“

“Absolutely amazing atmosphere, it's nice to finally find a place with the genuine charm and character that other taverns try to emulate. They are cash only, so bring money or use their ATM. They end up donating the extra 3% that would normally be given to the CC companies to local charities. The menu has a good selection of standard pub fare, with using descriptions and anecdotes. We got the Reuben, French Dip, and had to try their hamburger. The portion sizes are large, well worth the price. Chips are great and the sweet potato ones even moreso. We tried to fit a dessert in as well, and the massive cookie sandwhich is very much Massive! Would be a challenge to eat one on your own if that was the only thing you ordered. Definitely enough of a dessert to split between four people. It was only our first visit, but we'll definitely be making this one of our regular spots.Vegetarian options: Most of the salads and a few appetizers contain no meat.Dietary restrictions: All fried items are fried in peanut oil, so if you have a peanut allergy you'll need to stick to fresh foods and sandwhichesParking: Shared lot with the strip mall, and a few spots down a side road.“
