“Delicious Margarita pizza! All ingredients are fresh. We use to drive over the bridge to Cassis’s in Orangburg, NY for pizza, but no more. We met the owner yesterday and he really takes pride in his business. Venice Pizza is now our go to place when we want delicious pies.“

“My husband and I went to burrata for dinner today. It was a Saturday so we did have to wait around 50 minutes, so I would suggest making a reservation online if possible. We grabbed a drink at the bar next door while we waited. I really liked a the ambiance of the place- modern yet homey feel. Service was excellent, food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Araninci which was delicious, the burrata - yum. For mains we ordered the pappardelle which was really good, and the mushroom jalapeño pizza which we also enjoyed. For dessert we had the tiramisu which from a distance I thought looked like a store bought tiramisu because they wrap it in one of those plastic pieces to keep it together, but once the waiter opened it up all of the cream at the top fell to the sides like lava! It was really good- coming from someone who is very picky about tiramisu! Drinks- I had an espresso martini (no baileys) which was also good Definitely will be coming back here- with a reservation next time!“

“Excellent quality food, generous portions at reasonable prices! From the outside, this place looks like a plain-looking slice shop, but it is so much more than that. The service is friendlier than you normally would expect at a place like this, and they even packed up the leftovers for us. That's always a plus in terms of service. I had the fettuccine carbonara, which was certainly above average in quality. I find that carbonara is a difficult and unusual dish to make, so it's a good way to test an Italian restaurant. This place certainly passed the carbonara test. The portion size was absolutely enormous! It was better than the carbonara I had at a certain Michelin-starred restaurant in New Rochelle! I also had the opportunity to taste the fagioli soup, spinach pizza, and eggplant pizza. Everything was delicious. All of this, and the bill was under $50, with the tip included. Can't beat that.“

“I feel like the above-average cannolis are the secret menu item of this place; sometimes out of stock but worth every penny. Their plain cheese pizza is unfortunately only delicious about 60% of the time when a particular chef who adds seasoning to the bottom of the crust is cooking. I have yet to figure out the best day of the week and time to order to get him/her every time. When the pizza is mediocre, the crust is too thick, the cheese tastes bland, and it needs more red sauce. A shame this place can't be more consistent with their pizza flavoring and prep.“

I had the bucatini with zucchini and it was so special; savory and rich without feeling heavy. The cocktail list is small but the tequila mule was pretty good. We ordered a ton of food - three appetizers, two mains, two desserts, a cocktail, sparkling water and one soda and the bill came to just under $200 which felt really reasonable. Our waitress, Courtney, was incredible! She understands service. She was polite, very knowledgeable and engaging. She was also extremely efficient! The food was oh so good and the portions were huge. “I recently heard about the Sicilian pizza being really good here. Decided to order a Sicilian pie. It was excellent. It was a thick heavy pie. The gravy and cheese had so much flavor. I've been to a lot of pizzerias in the Bronx and throughout all of Westchester, but this was the best Sicilian I've had. It's a small local joint that looks to have been around for a long time. “There is no shortage of pizza joints in Harrison and there are 4 within a 5 block radius by my count. NY Pizza Station gets its name from being next to the Harrison Metro-North Railroad station that you can grab a slice or a pie as soon as you get off your commuter train. This used to be the location of Pizza 2000 years ago, but when P2K moved to a new, larger space across the street, one of their old employees decided to open Pizza Station on his own. The menu and formula did not change much from the P2K days. You stick with what works and what your customers like. Being just a short walk from our office, we would come regularly for Pizza Fridays and also order whole pies for special occasions and rainy days. We were such regular customers, that we were once captured by the Google Streetview camera car while walking back on Pizza Friday (our faces were blurred out). The pizza is pure NY Neapolitan style. We like to order fresh pies for delivery or to pick up. They come in 3 sizes, small (14"), large (16") & X-large (18"). The 18" pie barely fits in the box and sometimes the edge has to be folded a little to close the box. They also cut the XL into 10 slices which is unusual in itself. We also love the individual specialty slices like the Chicken Bacon Ranch, Penne ala Vodka and Chicken Bruschetta, which can also be ordered as whole pies. You can't go wrong with a traditional cheese pie, too, but my favorite topping has to be sausage with mushrooms a close second. Why not both? I have yet to try the heroes or pastas, but they do look good. There might be a veal parmagiana hero scheduled for Pizza Friday this week!“
