“First time in here. It was quiet at about 12:00. Parking in the lot was easy. I was tended to right away. I chose a salad bowl with sautéed zucchini, carne asada, pico, and & shredded cheese. The food was phenomenal. I would definitely go back when I’m in the area.”

“I had my daughter's bridal shower there on April 20th. From the first moment I walked in, Patty was a tremendous help. She was warm, friendly and confident in answering all of my questions. The staff was excellent, attending to all of our guests needs. The food was delicious- everyone raved about it. I would highly recommend The Snapper Inn.”

“A great sushi place with lots of great options. The service is excellent and the complimentary pieces were so good we ordered a whole plate extra. It was a shrimp covered crab meat with smattering of onions on top. Prices are great and this is definitely a hidden gem.”

“Used to go here for metal shows when it was Finns. Glad to see the local scence is still alive and well here. Love their stage room. The black lights and the black light recsssive images along with the color changing lights pointed at the pictures make an awesome effect. The sound quality is very good. The art everywhere is great. The bartender was also kind and made good drinks. The bathrooms were clean and upkept well.”

“Cosy little place with the Italian vibe you'd expect from a charming Long Island Italian place. It's half traditional slices and half sit down Italian restaurant. The sit down food is great and the pizza is higher level. Not your average corner store.They have a wine selection worthy of this level of Italian cuisine.I always judge Italian restaurants by their eggplant dishes. This one passes the test.Servers are quick and courteous. They always have more people on staff then needed so there's never a wait. At least every time I've been there.I used to go when I grew up a few towns over and it doesn't seem to have changed.Their Sicilian is my go to when it comes to slices. I like their marinara sauce for dipping as well.Vegetarian options: Pizza and eggplant dishes.Parking: Always more then enough. The parking lot is huge.Kid-friendliness: Not kid oriented but definitely kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It's ground level.”

“The pizza is very good. The crust is really good. I think they are using corn meal or something that makes the dough really tasty. Not completely sold on their entrees however but have mostly had just their pizza.”

“I have about 20 chinese takeout places closer to me but I go out of my way to go to Mr Wang because their food is above and beyond anyone elses when it comes to freshness and taste.The first thing you will notice is they usually have at least 10 people working behind the counter. Multiple dedicated cooks, multiple people working the phones and registers, people that are cutting fresh vegetables, preparing dough for their dumplings and noodles, etc. The kitchen is completely open and clean, they’ve got nothing to hide.Sure the people working the register may not smile or act the happiest, but they are always super busy, phone ringing off the hook, a dozen receipts hanging for orders, the place is always jumping. If the food is good, who cares if they smile or not after probably working all day non-stop. You know the food is the best anyway, you’ll be back regardless.I’ve been here countless times but tonight’s chicken & eggplant in garlic sauce finally made me leave a review. The eggplant was obviously fresh and not frozen and the chicken portions were very generous. Was just delicious almost restaurant quality meal.”

“Briana bartender great service, should put more young girls and boys and old people as well, place shows love when is packed, you know when you're appetizers like mozzarella sticks and french fries come fresh also cold drinks like beer and Bacardi with coke Great Service love it. “Dinner was delicious. The swordfish was perfectly cooked and the lobster bisque and risotto was the best ever had. The ribs were a great surprise! Tender, tasty and clean off the bone good. Just the right amount of meat for an appetizer. Loved the cauliflower purée and potato gnocchi. Chef Brian surely is a talented and creative chef.”

“With so many pizza choices in the sounding area, I honestly think this is the best. Get a fresh pie, the slices that lay around don’t do it justice. They make a hearty side salad, unlike any other in the area filled with fresh vegetables. And olives, which most places don’t put.”

“Just had a recent trip to the village idiot in Oakdale and it was fine. Unfortunately, our server was the only server working the floor and she had about 8 to 9 tables so there was an issue with getting served unfortunately. When asked for a drink, we asked for water with lemon, and unfortunately that never showed up. We finally stopped the bus boy and asked him for help. We had ordered a iced tea and it never came. It was on the bill at the end of the night so we had to have that taken off. What was weird was we were talking fairly loudly about the service and the owner or manager was sitting right next to us, taking up an entire booth paying his bills. He didn't look up he didn't move he never said hello Nothing... Very strange for the food service industry these days as most owners have become very big in greeting customers and making sure they have a good time so they return. All in all I'll give it a 3.5 out of five as the food was decent but again I've had crappy food but a great server and still had a great time. I hope that makes sense. And next time hopefully our server and the owner can be a little more engaging.”
