“Great taste of home for this New Orleans transplant. The crawfish etouffee and gumbo are delicious. The bread pudding is yummy too. There is a well stocked market adjacent to the ordering counter that has many basic groceries as well as prepared foods and regional specialties. Looking forward to trying more of their extensive menu.”

“I don’t know what this Celina’s problem is but barrier rocks. And as a 30 something year old I can say one of the main reasons I love barrier is because the music is never too loud for conversation. Beers are great and bar tenders are all super friendly and attentive. Food is also delicious! It’s bar food lady go to Gordon Ramsey if you want a 5 star meal.”

“We have been looking for somewhere in nassau that makes shwarma and finally found Halal Kebab. Food was fresh, and flavorful! The prices are very reasonable.The very nice gentleman helping me gave me a rice pudding on the house when I said it was my first time there. Im glad to have found this gem of a restaurant, and will definitely be back to check out the rest of their food.”

“I have been to meta few times and each time I had a very good meal in front of me! Service is nice friendly and happy to assist you with choices on their menu. Ambience of this place is in my opinion old school style restaurant. Either you come with jeans and hoodie or nice dress, both ways are fine. Quality of the food and their quantity is more what ppl are going to look into it;) had a good time!”

“I've been going here since it opened and have never been disappointed FANTASTIC beer, great service...nice food truck outside. Constantly getting new beers to try. Definitely a great pace to be a regular. hey also sell their beer CANNED so you can just come in try some beer and walk out with some great stuff to share with friends at home.”

“Best bubble tea on Long Island by far, really good curated flavors, I grew up with bubble tea and this is the most amazing legit tea I've had in years, reasonably priced, noticeably better quality than any nearby chain, definitely worth the visit. (Grill food is great and cheap too!) Great staff, very professional and give samples with every order as well as a punch card system for free teas. Cute little shop with a lot of nice decor and an adorable collection of lucky cats.”

“Can’t say enough about our experience last night. It was pouring raining but my husband wanted to go out for dinner. We showed up at around 9pm , after another restaurant wouldn’t seat us. Service and food was incredible!! We were not rushed even though we were the only ones left at that point.They kept telling us, to enjoy and not rush. Is definitely now our favourite place.”

“Heard good things about this place so we decided to go, glad we did. I got the stuffed baked clams appetizer and a French onion soup both were delicious. For my entree I got the sliced skirt steak, great choice the steak was very good and so were the mashed sweet potatoes that I got with it. My everyone that I was with got something different they said each dish was very good as well, the only person that didn’t like it very much was the pork chops he said they weren’t the greatest . They have a ton of dessert options which is nice as well, the banana foster was amazing.”

“This is my favorite place to eat! I come with family or friends. Everything on the menu is delicious. A little disappointed they changed my two favorite menu items which were the hand cut fries and French dip sandwich. The fries used to be my favorite with their maple aioli and now I wouldn’t even order them. I do recommend the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls!”
