“I have been coming here ever since this restaurant opened and I am a huge fan.Decided to have a marinated pork wet burrito this time around when normally I go for the tacos (look out for special tacos that come around every once in a while,) and it was out of this world delicious. Even with the portion being super generous, the flavor was also delicious. After this burrito you will feel good, because the ingredients are so fresh and have been tended to thoughtfully. The fresh onion and veg in addition to the green salsa balanced out the cheese and of course unctuous bites of pork in the burrito.The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service, and the restaurant and kitchen (you can see both just walking in) are sparkling clean. Don't miss this gem!“

“Just witnessed a group of white punk teenagers, 10! making fun of the workers accents. Then these kids proceeded to kick me while I was getting sauces. The employees are wonderful! But the clients are the absolute worst! Teach your kids manner Oceanside!“

“Taco belll.... why do you ring for me?! Why are you open so late?! Why are you so tempting yet so bad for me?! I may never know the answer but I do know that this location is located right near mi casa so when the craving hits.. it takes an army to hold me back. I've been doing well for the last 2 months, but tonight... it was cheesy gordita crunch time. I actually heated it up in my toaster oven at 350 degrees for 6 minutes, and it was perfect! “I love the food here and I don’t think I’ve ever been unsatisfied. They have the best tortillas here and the chips are LEGENDARY. I wouldn’t say the workers are friendly but they never come across as hostile. I’d be stressed out too with the amount of people coming here!!I haven’t actually sat down to eat at this location in years because none of the tables are ever clean. I dont pay much mind to the atmosphere because of how much I love the food.The drink machine was broken for maybe two years.. but finally got fixed a few days ago.they’re currently closed for the next five days because of a “plumbing issue“ which is really disappointing.Kid-friendliness: The kids quesadilla is so good, but you should get it inside probably gonna order on Uber eats because you have way more options“

“Shared 4 assorted tacos (fish, lengua, birria & carnitas) with my wife for snack, craved for more. I don’t usually get Lengua (tongue) because of funky after taste from previous experience. At Mala Madre, lengua was so tender, butter and beefy. Will definitely come back for more.“

“Absolutely amazing! My daughter and I had an appointment in the area today, and being not from the area I asked for recommendations on the Long Island Foodies page. You did not disappoint!! We ordered four tacos (the crispy chicken was my favorite,) corn, jalapeño poppers and drinks. Every single item was amazing! Then the staff - we are outside and from the first staff member we met to the last the service was top notch! Extra thanks to the gentleman who made sure to bring me out some Fat Boy Sauce, because I mentioned it was our first time he said “you have to have it.” He was right. We did! And Sal. Every restaurant should have someone as welcoming and lovely as Sal. He made us feel like regulars on our first time. My daughter has already asked to take the hour trip back again next week, and I’m thinking about it.“

“I was here last night around 8:30pm for the first time and my experience was 10 out of 10. I had the guava coconut margarita on the rocks and it was what I needed after working a 12 hour shift. I'll definitely be returning not because of the great food but because of how kind and pleasant the staff was!!!!!“

“It’s a owner operator business, Manuel, is a star! Went in for lunch with my good friend he was Very attentive. We had the shrimp quesadilla and chicken crunch wrap! Three different mild sauces and three different hot sauces . Their homemade hot sauce was excellent! Chorizos was spectacular! Nobody’s gonna run it the way you want it!
