“Really good food. You get buffet style and then you pay by the weight. But i get to pick from so many Ecuadorean dishes that like. I wish i had a place like this in NYC but definitely recommend for the good food and price. I paid $20 for plate, soup and soda. Too much food had to take it to go.“

“Arriving at 6:00 on a Saturday evening without reservations, my companion and I were delighted to be seated at a small booth in the bar area. Great seating, as it was comfortable and felt private. We each enjoyed a special cocktail, and appetizers of delicious cauliflower and truffle pizza and popcorn shrimp (complete with tiny crumbles of popcorn!) We then really enjoyed the chicken pot pie and cucumber and broccoli entre salad. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Very fine experience. Look forward to returning soon.“

“Found on a google search. Nice to have some good barbecue in the burbs. I stopped in for a late lunch. Too hungry to make decisions so I asked the owner/host/chef/cashier for suggestions. He was very friendly and fun to talk with. The pork belly was incredible, as he suggested. Ribs and pulled pork was good. Mac and cheese was a bit bland. I should have asked for extra sauces.“

“From start to finish Westchester Picnic company was great. Maria helped with food ordering and was very helpful with ideas. Food was dropped off on time and everyone was happy with the taste of the food. Best corn bread ever! Highly recommend.“

“This was such a fun experience! I've never been to a BBQ where you cook your own food but I loved how interactive it was. All of the meats were seasoned so well! The noise was a little bit on the louder side as there's no separation between the booths. Also the soda gun stopped working while there so they couldn't make our drinks but Cameron, our waiter, made a suggestion for yuzu sake based on the drink I had chosen. It was amazing!! I would definitely come back and choose my own foods next time but choosing a course helped alleviate the stress of it being my boyfriend and I's first time. Now we know what meats we like and would get again versus the stuff we weren't as much of a fan of.“

“AMAZING! Customer service and food quality was 5/5 stars!I ordered lunch for my office and each one of us was able to eat a dinner sized portion for under $10 a person! I called and spoke with a really nice gentlemen, who was super nice and helpful when it came to choosing what I wanted to order. I ended up ordering a family combo (beef ribs, pork ribs, and chicken) with rice and beans and a whole chicken with veggies and fries. It fed 7 people with some food still left for another 2 people. Will definitely be returning!“

“Greeters are kind. Brand new place, clean, corn bread was delicious, so was the yams. Waiter was attentive.Only thing I would say is to not have staff drinking refreshments by the bar. There was a staff member extremely too close to another one, which is inappropriate, personal space is key in the workplace.“

Top 3 BBQ dish I’ve ever had. Heavenly.I wanted to share a story about this place. We were in the mood for BBQ on a random weekday night. We had four big hungry guys and I wanted to try the then new Home Plate BBQ so naturally I ordered a massive feast. Big Daddy himself hand delivered the food up the hills of Stony Point. As he handed me the big bags, he thanked me and told me how much he valued my order that day because they hadn’t been terribly busy at the time (a few years ago). I never forgot that gesture. Since then I’ve recommended it via word of mouth so many times and I realized I never wrote a review. I’m glad to see this place has become a staple of North Rockland. This place is the real deal.“

“Amazing bbq, cool corner restaurant with southern charm, not a lot of sitting available, however in warmer days they do offer outside sitting. The menu offers great bbq classics such as brisket, pulled pork, bbq wings, ribs etc. We ordered a platter for two that came with an assortment of meats plus 2 delicious sides. I must say please get the corn bread, it was to die for. No full bar menu but they do offer a small assortment of beers and wine. We went on a Sunday and there was a short wait to get a table as the place was filled with large groups mostly families with kids. Parking is a bit of a headache but it’s worth the bit of struggle. Service was excellent, no complaints. Overall it was a great experience, definitely give this place a try.“

“Let's begin with a shootout to the waitress Allison. She was amazing waitress gave great recommendations and was not a hovering waitress! If your coming for bbq expect good traditional backyard bbq. They have some creative starters/appetizers like their texas lollipops and their Mac n Cheese egg rolls which were simple but good. Overall having their bbq chicken and rib combo, the best way to describe it is exactly how I said it, as tradition backyard bbq. “We had an amazing experience. We took the Rodizio Brazilian dining experience and got a TON of great tasting meats with plenty of sides too. The staff was very kind and walked us through an introduction to great tequila tasting which was a first for us. Highly recommend it. The roasted pineapple for dessert was a great discovery as well.“

“Visited Rick's Club American for a friend's birthday celebration, and I must say the food was good. It was better than I thought it would be. There were a variety of menu options and we tried alot of them. The waitress we had was very attentive to our needs. The place itself had a bar and many drink options, a very relaxed vibe. We tried the calamari, chips and artichoke dip, bbq ribs, bbq chicken, fried chicken wings, bbq chicken wings, cornbread and more. Would recommend and would return.“

“My friend and I caught up over a delicious meal here! I picked the mushroom sundubu and she picked the tteokbokki - both portions were mighty generous. We were seated promptly despite a busy Sunday lunch crowd and our food came swiftly after ordering. The handsome waiter pulled the smoothest move ever by taking my card after I asked to pay for my table (when my friend was in the bathroom) then when she fought for the bill, he took her card too and normalcy returned. But then he returns moments later with the bill on my card! Deeeefinitely smooth and saved us the growing Asian debacle of who's paying LOL. “I was trying to find a barbecue chicken spot for my mom. We did not know it was Korean fried chicken but we we were pleasantly surprised. My mom had the wings with a sweet sauce and I had the hot & spicy sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious. I look forward to trying more sauces next time I visit.“
