“Shine a spotlight on them!So you guys know that I'm very, very hard to please. And for me to have to rate somebody on. This must be big, but let me tell you. This piece of store is highly recommended by myself because the pizza. You really have to sit back and ask yourself. If it's a gravy or is it a sauce? The consistency of the sauce is just right? It's a smooth flow, and the crust at the end is not too salty like sometimes you have issues with that with certain pizza stores, but let me just tell you. This establishment comes highly recommended and that's just from the cheese slice. I look forward to going back and seeing what else I can explore with my options. Everything is the right consistency. It actually brought tears to my eyes because it had a certain flow to it. #madewithLOVE You definitely want to give the big ups too. Because it is a job well done, especially for these taste buds.“

“The food was flavorful, the fish tacos were the best! One of the women at the front who i presumed was the owner, was very helpful in explaining the menu and Taco Tuesday and helped us make our choices. We were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The special can not be mixed, but the taco Tuesday menu has $4 tacos that you can mix and match. Great place to eat good and catch up with friends/family. Will be returningParking: Parking on surrounding streets if you can find a spot close.“

“"LOVED IT":The Roasted Vegetable Trio Masamun Curry (GF, VG) was incredibly creamy and had the perfect balance of tangy and sweet flavors. The squash and cauliflower were cooked just right. Every bite was bursting with so much flavor, it made my eyes roll back in pleasure.The Shrimp Pad Thai (GF - we omitted the egg) nailed the classic sweet and tangy Thai taste. The noodles were cooked to the perfect consistency. It was so good, I quickly slurped it all up like a dog eating your birthday cake.Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and very friendly - great service."LIKED IT":The atmosphere was lively and packed with people enjoying their food and company. It's a fun, energetic vibe being surrounded by the buzz if that's what you're in the mood for."MEH":The Om Gai Pad (GF) was the dish we were most excited for but ended up barely touching. “Listen RUN dont WALK to Tatiana's! Once you can get that reservation make sure you go! I went for my brother's birthday dinner and EVERYTHING from the ambiance to the drinks to the food was excellent. The staff was very nice also, and the management was top tier! I will definitely be back. We literally tried everything on the menu except 4 things! Oh and the dessert ....THE GOLDEN RUM CAKE AND THE BODEGA SPECIAL was EVERYTHING!!!! Will dine again VERY SOON!Dietary restrictions: The waiter or waitress asks if the table has any allergies!Parking: The later you go in the day the easier to find parking on the street. “This is one of the few good ramen places in New York.Ivan Orkin and his chefs seem to have done an interesting fusion experiment: they take Japanese ideas and combine them with American junk food, and present them in a surprisingly enjoyable way. rip-roaring spicy ramen , triple-garlic, triple-pork mazemen is unlike anything you'll find anywhere else. IVAN'S KARAAGE, CRISPY EGGPLANT are also good with beers!“

“Cute place, great atmosphere for a date night. Outdoor space is decorated with flowers. The menu is interesting, there’s Japanese and Thai. Tried their panang curry. It was very soupy and rice came in the soup. Mango salad is really good. Overall good place for dinner.“

“If you've been around NYC and vegetarian, you have almost definitely heard of Dirt Candy. It's the epitome of vegetarian fine dining in NYC.I will preface my review by stating that I have not grown up in the fine dining realm; there is probably some level of "appreciation" that I lack. That being said, the food here is great. Presentation, creativity, flavor experience are all on point. However, I couldn't justify the price for the food. I think if you are very curious and want to knock it off your bucket list OR you are someone into fine dining then this is perfect. Otherwise, there are restaurants that I think you get much better bang for your buck for in NYC.“

“10/10 highly recommend. Read about Potluck Club on the infatuation and they were spot on. Potstickers were delicious. The salt and pepper chicken was a first for me, but also delicious. And we had some noodle dish and added the hanger steak. Again delicious. Staff was so friendly and all busting their butts. Really nice to see them working as a team!“

“It's delicious anyway! !I've been to Mexico many times and ate a lot of tacos. Mexican food in the United States is basically TEXMEX (Americanized Mexican). It's melty processed cheese and lettuce. That doesn't exist in Mexico. The real thing is different! The tacos here have that authentic taste. Even in long lines, the food is made and eaten extremely efficiently. Speaking of luxury, I would like to eat a little more slowly. While drinking CORONA beer.Both the tacos and tostadas are delicious. The staff's response is also great.It's just delicious!!I've been to Mexico many times and eaten a lot of tacos. Mexican food in America is basically TEXMEX (Americanized Mexican). Melty processed cheese and lettuce. You don't find that in Mexico. The real thing is different! The tacos here taste like the real thing. They are made and eaten very efficiently even in a long line. “I've been going to HDL consistently for 2 years now and it's still one of my favorite hotpot places in nyc. In terms of cleanliness, service and food quality it is top notch. In terms of price it is on the pricier side ($50-$75pp). The servers are very attentive and offer to make you a soup and dipping sauce. I always leave feeling full and satisfied. The Chinese opera show, dancing noodle and birthday singing also make the dining experience more fun and memorable.Parking: Paid parking lot“

“After having enjoyed Bersi's eye-poppingly large platters that feed 3-4 people for $20-60 in total, not even Ras's lunch special ($18 bowls) seemed like a good deal. I did prefer the collard greens at Ras over Bersi's though. (Too bad I didn't try the injera at Ras for a comparison.) All that said, I did enjoy the Bole Bowl: the crunchy soy crumbles were a fun textural element, and the avocado injected creaminess into the mix. “One word, phenomenal! My best friend and I had dinner here during our weekend trip and Daniel exceeded every expectation we could’ve had. We chose the Five Course Prix Fixe menu with caviar service and both the food and staff were excellent. We had such a great experience that we’ve decided to visit a new Michelin Star restaurant every year as a girls trip. Thank you all for making our experience exceptional.“

“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“

“First, the great: order the chilaquiles for brunch. It’s a great non-traditional “elevated” take that retains all the beloved parts of the dish: the soggy-crunchy texture, the fried egg. The twists made sense, from the creamy non-spicy salsa to the hearty beans and mole crunch. It appeals to Americans’ preference for creamy foods. Also, if you can handle a bit of heat, order anything with salsa macha, a slightly spicy smoky-nutty chili oil.The bad: temperature and texture. It felt like most of the food sat at the counter for a long time before they got delivered to our table, or they didn’t even bother to cook the food. The tuna tostada and spring pea tlayuda sat on a soggy, leathery base. The chilaquiles did not touch the stove, just a bunch of chips tossed in sauce. The tacos arrived pretty close to room temp. Flavors were pleasant, but I expected something more intense or interesting from a Michelin place.Overall, the food’s pretty darn good for the price despite the flaws.“

“Extensively thought out menu, every bite felt like a perfect harmony of complex but well balanced flavours.The pairings are absolutely worth it and elevate every dish, we would highly recommend.Servers were extremely attentive. We ate in about 1h30 because we had a show (a bit faster than the recommended 2 hour window), however we didn’t feel rushed and everything was perfectly timed.Excellent ambiance, we loved being able to see the chefs work in front of us. Everything looked like a perfectly choreographed dance.Would highly recommend, a well deserved star indeed !“

“I would give it 5 if it weren't Michellin and had compatible prices.I ordered scallop on a bed of arugula and beans, grilled octopus with balsamic sauce, roasted potatoes, a kind of moussaka and grilled fish with a pistachio crust and supposedly pistachio pesto sauce.For dessert, chocolate mousse with ouzo.I noticed an acidic flavor throughout the dish.It could be too much lemon or vinegar, I don't know.Good food, but not unforgettable and expensive“

“Heerlijk authentiek Koreaans gegeten bij dit knusse restaurant. Vooraf krijg je wat banchan inclusief kimchi, aardappelsalade, boerenkool en radijs. Als voorgerecht hadden we pannenkoek met tauge, die goed was gebakken: krokant van buiten en luchtig van binnen. Deze werd met een fris sausje geserveerd. Op aanraden van de ober hebben we gebakken schouderkarbonade met oesterchampions besteld en dit was het hoogtepunt van de avond. Heerlijk mals vlees dat bijna op je tong smelt in een lichtzoete saus. De koude zoete aardappel noedels waren ook smaakvol, al is dit wellicht meer een gerecht om op een warme zomerdag te bestellen dan tijdens een koude dag. Om de maaltijd af te sluiten hadden we zwarte sesam ijs met matcha biscuit en gedroogde aardbeien. Prima toetje met leuke presentatie. Al met al dus heerlijk gegeten, dus als je van Koreaans eten houd is dit wat mij betreft een aanrader.“

“After a nice visit to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, my girlfriend and I were craving some pizza. L & B Spumoni Gardens seemed like the perfect spot to try a different style of pizza. We managed to find parking easily despite the seemingly packed lot. As we joined the line outside, we were unaware of the indoor seating until I went to check, which turned out to be a huge plus. Once seated, we ordered the Sicilian Square Pizza with mushrooms on top. The pizza exceeded our expectations, with the perfect balance of thickness and crispiness that we both enjoyed. However, my girlfriend noted that she would prefer the mushrooms cooked a bit more. Despite this minor critique, we both agreed that L & B Spumoni Gardens offers exceptional pizza, and we would gladly return for another meal.“

“In NYC for a few days and visited OBAO - and couldn't recommend any higher.Our waiter, Beer was excellent - running us through the menu and giving us recommendations (two of which we took up).I highly recommend the short rib massamam which was recommended to me. A favourite of mine, OBAOs was hands down the best Massamam I've tried.Massive shout out again to Beer - for going above and beyond to making our visit memorable.“

“This place is busy, and for the right reasons! We went here in the evening and got a Pollo Asada. The craft and technique with which the chef made our taco, was truly impressive. The chicken was so soft and flavourful. We really enjoyed it. Though we would've enjoyed some hot sauce on it too, but we didn't notice the sauce bar in the back in time. This place gives you a street vendor vibe, in a closed restaurant - which I liked.“

“I heard that Tonchin is difficult to get walk-ins for, so I was really excited to get a reservation here. There was a long line of walk-ins when we arrived for our 12pm reservation. The restaurant has a cool modern vibe and good service. Overall there were some things I liked, but nothing was particularly memorable.The kimchi mushroom ($8) was meh and not worth the cost. It was very small, cold, and sour -- just hard strips of oyster mushroom in a chili oil/vinegar flavor. I didn't taste the kimchi flavor.The original maguro ($27) was very good. Lots of great flavors and textures, and everything was cut to the same size. I enjoyed the crunchy bits.The tebasaki ($18 for 6 pieces) had quite big and tender wings. The drumettes had more flavor and sauciness. This wasn't a must-get, but it was decent.The smoked dashi ramen ($22) definitely lived up to its name. It was a rich but not overly heavy pork broth with smoked dashi liquid on top. It was good but not amazing. I didn't love that the bamboo was in a big chunk, which made it hard to eat. The noodles are nothing special. I felt similarly about the tonkotsu ramen.I got the aka drink ($18) which was pretty good -- very floral and good sweetness. It wasn't that big, though -- it had a giant ice block in it.Overall the restaurant has a nice vibe and the food is quick to come out, but nothing would make me come back. The maguro was definitely the highlight.“

“I very much enjoyed my experience here. The drinks are very good. I had a strawberries and cream drink and it taste just like a strawberry milkshake yogurt. I really enjoyed it. The meat was very good and seasoned well. They were different options In regards to waiting there was a big wait the food came very fast. Appetizers were delicious and the service was very good and the waiters were very attentive and helpful and mindful if they see that you have a little bit of issues in regards to cooking so they will for sure be more than happy to help you will come again. This was my second time and the third time I know will be maybe even better.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! “Te amo Mission Ceviche! My Boyfriend took me here for my birthday. The entire staff treated me like a King! The customer service at this restaurant is absolutely incredible! The food is a gastronomical fantasy. Incredible flavors, fresh ingredients, truly mouth-watering meals. My Boyfriend is from Peru and he says Mission Ceviche is like coming home for him. He is practically obsessed with the two ceviche dishes (Mixto y Classico). For me it is the short ribs. O-M-G I don’t think I have EVER had a meal so memorable and incredibly delicious. To be honest my words do not do the deliciousness of this meal justice. Simply put...it is oh so good. The short rib is cooked to perfection and is so tender you can eat it with a spoon. The accompanying sides are the perfect compliment. The sauce that’s used...I hope they bottle it because I would buy vats of it! The rice with choclo is sublime. The tres leches rich, creamy and absolutely decadent. The food is amazing. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous. The music is fiyah. The location is super convenient—a half a block to the subway and Crosstown bus. What really sets Mission Ceviche apart is the incredible Maitre’d Carlos. He treats all patrons the same...from babies in strollers to celebrities. He is so incredibly kind, humble, gracious, charming, intelligent, professional and inspiring. He is passionate and proud. It is awesome to see him keep the atmosphere ebullient and festive and the food flowing. He manages it all so effortlessly. I think it is because he honestly loves his chosen career and when you’re happy and you know it “work” is pure joy. That joy Carlos gives it to all of the Mission Ceviche patrons. This was not me and my Boyfriend’s first time dining at Mission Ceviche. We are now greeted by our first names when we arrive. Carlos is there and he has the biggest smile and we know that we are in great hands and know we will eat well. Every dining experience at Mission Ceviche is amazing! Go to this restaurant...make the reservation...you will not be disappointed...trust me! Bravo Carlos and the entire Mission Ceviche staff.“

“The restaurant which was funded in 1887 has a big reputation to stand up to, and I think they really do!Once you enter the restaurant you can feel the atmosphere of a great restaurant with expert staff all around. The host, the waitresses are all very friendly, professional and helpful.We had steak and hamburgers and everything was very tasty.I think the steak is more special than the burger, but both were excellent.I will recommend sharing with other people so you can taste more than one kind of main dish.Highly recommended overall but take into account the expensive prices“

“All the walk ins were already booked when we showed up right at open (5pm on Sat), but they put us on the waitlist. Luckily, around 8pm we got a text saying to come in at 8:45. A good option if you live nearby or have things to do in the area.The Pizzas we got were cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in the city. If you like Neapolitan style, you won't find a better dough anywhere. Our dessert, Almond Cremolata was simply delicious.The ambiance was amazing. You get to see the chefs and the process of pizza making if you get seated close enough. Service was friendly, quick and efficient.“

“Ok but not my favorite upscale Mexican in Brooklyn. I really like the tuna tostada (came with tuna, grapefruit, avocado). Got a vegetarian main that was ok, nothing special. Mezcal menu looked good so I’d come back for a drink. Was able to get walk-in seats at the bar by coming right at 5:30 when they open.“

“Scottadito is a cozy restaurant with seating in the front and back of the restaurant. If you want a more intimate setting, opt for the front. If you're okay with a bigger room and dont mind some louder background conversation the back is a lovely choice to sit as well. My fiance and I started off complimentary bread and dipping sauce. We followed that up with the katerina salad which comes with a tart dressing and generous amount of cheese. My personal favorite of the night was the tagliatelle with speck and brie... absolutely cheesy, creamy, heaven. The saltiness from the speck balanced out the creaminess from the pasta sauce. The noodles were thin and almost reminded me of egg noodles. Definitely a one of a kind tagliatelle. My fiance ordered the penne with spicy vodka sauce and spicy sausage. The sausage was broken up into nice chunks and definitely came with a kick. The portions were generous and we left the restaurant stuffed. Scottadito also offers small backyard seating, which I can see it opening up to perhaps a micro wedding for the fall/summer. Will definitely be back for more pasta and to try more dishes. Yum!“

“This is such a gem! I have been craving pork belly for a while now so I went to ssam tong today and let me tell you this place is amazing! Ordered a pork belly, pork jowl and beef~ the meat was tender and delicious! The staff is the best~ they are cute and hilarious! Love it!! Rico and the owner helped us with the grilling! They are so sweet! The atmosphere is so friendly and comfortable that it made the whole dining experience beyond excellent! I will definitely come back whenever I crave Korean bbq around the Murray Hill area! :)“

But I went there today with some family and was hoping to find a Mexican restaurant that's comfortable for eating on the property. It's a really small space, I think there were 4 to 6 tables, and somehow I didn't get that from looking at the yelp reviews. For the food alone, the place is at least worth 4 stars. The Guacamole here is better than at many, many places... freshly made, has enough salt, cilantro... I'm a guac snob, and I liked this. The chips are a typical fried tortilla, and they were good. 3 of us had Quesadillas, one with mushrooms, one with beef, and the other with shrimp. We all liked them. One of us got a burrito, which was pretty hefty, and they liked what they got. Same person got a slice of Tres Leches and a slice of cheesecake and loved them. Service was fine. The place is on a corner with plenty of street parking around (on a Saturday afternoon). It's not much to look at but I would return with a smaller group.“
