“Me and the kids, older kids had dinner upstairs at Shands called the state room. Dinner and apps were great, just a bit pricey on the strip steak. 85. For a thin steak is a bit much. Wasn't quit cooked med rare, alittle toward med well. All in all it was a great night. Staff and bar tenders were awsome”

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. Thank you Joseph at the Tap Room in Patchogue!”

I opted for the soft shell crab sandwich and without a doubt the BEST I've ever had. This restaurant is a little far off from where I live BUT I, without a doubt, will be visiting again. “Rocco's Pizza is a 5/5. I have been going there 10 years+. My eldest son was the first fan of the Buffalo chicken and Marsala pizza slices when we first moved to Patchogue. Now my youngest son also loves the Buffalo chicken slices. The atmosphere is friendly and the employees greet you with a smile! The prices are affordable and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend Rocco's of Patchogue!”

“Fat Boy’s Burritos is the real deal! I had the Fat Mac Daddy burrito and my husband got the Fat Steak - both were incredible. Flavor-packed, fresh, and massive… we’re talking “leftover for 3 more meals” level portions (no complaints here).

The vibe was casual and friendly, and the owner Tony even came by to check in on us - such a thoughtful touch. To top it all off, he gifted us some churros for dessert! That kind of kindness (and delicious food) definitely earns repeat visits. We’ll absolutely be back if we’re ever in Patchogue again.”

“Shands is the coziest & most beautiful spot! The ambiance and service was so warm & welcoming upon entering. We had a seat up in front for some prime people watching on the Patchogue strip - it's such a nice change from the Brick House to have those front window tables! Extra points when the windows are open on nice days.

The craftsmanship in each cocktail, appetizer, entree, and dessert are obvious at first glance and later at first bite/sip. I also appreciate the quality offerings of the mocktail menu so those of us that don't drink can still enjoy a social tonic 🫶🏽

“First time there tonight for a birthday dinner. WOW is an understatement. Sat outside with a beautiful sunset view. We had the short rib special, the sea bass and the swordfish entrees and they were delicious! The mussels in white sauce to start and the (clearly) homemade peanut butter and chocolate & carrot cake desserts were phenomenal. Our waitress Jaimie was the BEST-so sweet and welcoming-all of her recommendations from cocktails to entrees to dessert were spot on. We can’t wait to come back!”

“I really liked the shrimp and grits here. It's decently cheesy, and has a good amount of shrimp in it. The rye bread I got was pretty decent; nothing too amazing, but I think it worked well with the grits I got.

Overall, happy to go again! Their menu is pretty big, so I think there are many things to try, like the chicken and waffles.”

“This place is for the foodies! We dinned at the Patchogue Location on a Saturday 4pm and had the place to ourselves which was nice. We ordered The Sals fried chicken bowl with caesar salad, it was so good! we also ordered the mac & cheese and this was probably one of the best i’ve ever had, 10/10 must try. The parmesan truffle fries are perfectly crisp and delicious. The risotto balls were also very good! Our server Gianna R was so sweet and attentive. Highly recommended this place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️e”

Between Kaitlyn giving me a sample of one of the wines because I told her I was picky about wine and Zack accommodating an absolutely ridiculous request, they were all just amazing people. I’m autistic and I make some ridiculous requests sometimes, but Zack didn’t even bat an eye. I have pet rats and I saw that broccoli rabe was on the menu as a side, so I asked if I could take home like a single piece and he didn’t even blink, he just said to remind him before I left. I will definitely be patronizing them in the future”

“Breakfast is our favorite meal and we eat out every morning. Due to an early morning doctor appointment, we bumped into Buttermilk’s Kitchen. Great vibe as soon as you walk in….friendly and cheerful staff, nice decor, immediate service. I had the “The ‘Ol Barnyard”…..the sausage gravy was excellent with big chunks of sausage and super flavorful…..probably the best I’ve had here in NY and most of the South!!! The bacon was high quality and very tasty. My perfect over easy eggs were so fresh (yes, I can taste the freshness and quality just by having a bite of the whites!). My husband had a “Create Your Own Omelette” and declared that is was a “work of art” (I was offended because I make a darn good omelette and he never said that to me!) We were concerned about the “hash browns” because that usually means just cubed and fried potatoes, so we were very pleasantly surprised at the delicious shredded and seasoned, crispy but soft hash browns. Our regular coffee was good and hot, and they offer several “craft” coffee options. The Banana Foster French toast looked delectable! The lunch menu looks good, as well. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Hands down, Best protein shakes on the island. Honestly can’t be compared, only thing that comes close is smoothie king and the closest one is in Manhattan. Salad so fresh it doesn’t even need dressing, once you start chomping down you’ll forget to put dressing on it. Great selection of supplements, best brands on the market are found here. Let’s not forget the snacks. If you like protein bars then you know how hard it is to find ones that are healthy and actually tasty. You don’t have to worry about that here, I’ve yet to eat a protein bar from this place and put it down. Lastly, the European coffee they use is top brand in Europe. There isn’t a coffee shop in Europe without that emblem (illy) in their windows. Great place, great service, great people, great food, great coffee, great shakes, and great products. What else do you want”

I got them doordashed and they were still so hot, double wrapped with a soft corn shell so they didn’t get soggy, and then individually wrapped in tin foil. It's got between 20 - 30 varieties of flowers & a mind boggling variety of gummies, oils & pre-rolls. I can move easily & speak clearly in a much more effectively than I have with just dopa drugs. The Delta 8 kush in particular which in comparison to the Gummies is like comparing oatmeal to cherrios.”

“I love this Taco Bell SO much. I moved to this area back in May and had to switch over to this Taco Bell after going to the Port Jefferson Station location for years. The PJS location was okay, this one is excellent compared to it.

The Patchogue Taco Bell is AMAZING, genuinely - they make the food with love every time (it literally looks like the pictures), they're quick drive thru wise, and they're so kind! I wish I got her name, but the one woman who always hands me my food at the window radiates good energy and double checks everything. My order is never wrong, I always get my sauces, and I wish I had a million dollars to give to this staff for always making my day better. I also hope their manager treats them well because they're angels. Nothing HITS like good Taco Bell food, and this one doesn't miss. I love them and I hope they get more praise.
