“Pretty good Korean bbq. A bit different on what I'm use too. The small dishes they give wasn't anything to talk about such as other k bbq spots. However, the meat stairs were pretty damn good and the marinaded chicken was delicious. I went for my friend's birthday, and the staff was great and even gave a meat cake. Only take away was they charged $3 extra every-time you request for extra lettuce shells which most other kbbq spots is given for free. The ambiance was excellent and very clean.“
“Has such a yummy and pleasant omakase experience in Astoria on a week night, thanks to That Place. The restaurant is so beautifully decorated and clean. The host/server was so attentive and sweet during the entire 1.5hr experience - my water/tea was refilled almost automatically after every sip. Same is also included in the omakase pricing which is really nice for drinkers ! The chefs worked together and created really delicious pieces- every one was super yummy. Their matcha ice cream and cheesecake were also so good ! Overall, was such a great experience and will definitely be back again for a weeknight or weekend dinner.“

Me and my friends had the pleasure of sitting in their traditional Japanese private dining room and loved every minute of the experience. It felt like we were transported to Tokyo. “Came to Ginza Don inside the Golden Mall with my friend and ordered the Crispy Pork Neck (Jowls) Donburi ($15.99), Teriyaki Chicken + Thinly Sliced Pork Belly Donburi and Tempura Oysters ($6.99). Each donburi order came with miso soup, seaweed salad, and a pouched egg on the side. The oysters came with 5 pieces and were fried nicely with a flakey batter. Did not feel heavy. My favorite was the thinly sliced pork belly because the Japanese BBQ sauce worked well with the char and smokiness of the grilled the meat. It was juicy and did not feel too fatty because of how thin it was. The chicken tasted milder, and the pork jowls were just too fatty for me to enjoy. It was my fault for ordering it not knowing what the dish even was. Haha. This stall is located in the back corner, which has 4 tables for seating. I ordered take out because I knew I was not going to finish, but my friend ordered to dine in, and I noticed that portion sizes seem a little more if you dine in.“

The atmosphere was ehh, we came with 12 people so we thought it will be more private but they also have regular dinner tables set up in the same room as omakase. Other than that everything was fresh and a very decent price for what I wasserved.“

I spent 25 years in high end seafood, (wholesale, retail, private chef, and catering) and was blown away by the quality of the fish! The chef was masterful as he balanced every single course (in had the 16) to perfection. He was incredibly skilled and a wonderful artist. The selection of fish from Japan was amazing. He explained every course as he served us. This place is a gem. I have eaten at just about every single sushi restaurant around and on see no reason to go anywhere else anymore. The place is clean and beautiful, the owner and staff were friendly and very interactive. The preparation and care that went into everyone was second to none. Also ordered a roll that had bulgogi beef on-top, wow so savory and delicious. Their decor is also pretty similar with all the One Piece “WANTED” poster.. don’t be like me and if you’re meeting people for ramen IT’S ON THE GROUND FLOOR. Izakaya (I was sitting up there reading their menu for a bit lol) has yakitori and Japanese hot pot.I came here with my fam and kiddo on a Friday night. We were able to get a table no problem and there were two different servers manning the restaurant. They were so friendly with our toddler, allowed us to walk around with her so she wouldn’t get fussy during our meal, and were just fantastic.The ramen wasn’t the best I’ve ever had BUT for the price per bowl it’s definitely worth it. We also got a couple of apps which were delicious as well. The best one we ordered, hands down, had to be the agedashi tofu. Usually at other restaurants I’d get a couple small square blocks of fried tofu and some sauce. Here, you get a bunch of bonito flakes that added that extra umami flavor, scallions, and pickled radish. Delish!We were surprised with mochi ice cream on the house at the end of the meal and if that wasn’t a sweet enough deal, if you pay with cash you have an 8% discount. It was definitely one of my family cheaper dinner nights out and we’ll be back again!“

Hana is the best she is so attentive and very nice and sweet. The food was great the price was ok. So I decided to go back and treat my kid to eat after her practice this past Sunday. The food great Hana a sweet heart. However I was so disappointed. I did not get my duck . Then I decided to order it to go. I got home I had the wrong order. I was so disappointed so was my child. I called the restaurant back and spoke to sue I placed another order. I told her if they could please deliver it and how was it possible for them to get my order wrong. I asked her several times to ask Hana what duck I had ordered before. She agreed. When I hit the delivery again wrong food. OMG. I swear if it wasn’t because Hana is so great I would never go back there. The phone order lady sue is the worst. I was disappointed my kid was upset. After everything she expected me to pay them something for her F ups . I don’t think so. I reverse the charges. They need to put someone else on the phone to take delivery orders on the phone.“
