The sushi is always fresh, and delivery is super fast. And don't stop at just ordering sushi.... they will make any traditional Asian dish you like including the very best wonton soup I've ever had. You can't go wrong with Kiku sushi!“

“My friends decided to make a formal meeting at one hotspot rumored to be one of the best Japanese restaurants in New Rochelle. Sakana sounds so good to my ears, so we as an entrepreneurial company went to collaborate and dine. The restaurant is fabulous and well-designed, with deep, sensual blues and purples setting the mood for a chill relaxation. Waiting for the food was easy with the friendly waitress, and I enjoy the customs I use to respond to her polite service. The food was spectacular in both view and flavor. The Bento Box felt like a sweet assortment of sushi and seasoned meat, like choosing delicacy from a box of chocolates. The well-done Beef Negimaki was bite-friendly, and enjoyed the sauce that complemented the sautéed onions. I have to thank my friend for covering the modest costs of this meeting. I am satisfied with the price, given that there are five of us ordering to our hearts’ content. Each of us would have contributed 35 for our respective dishes. I have paid more than that price in other restaurants with three guests including myself. I love Sakana, and I would go back to have a customary relaxation with my friends and family.Vegetarian options: The main theme of Sakana is its sushi and sashimi selections, almost all of which are seafood based. Top non-meat sushi rolls include the Eel Avocado Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. In addition, there are desserts such as Mochi Ice Cream. Vegans can try Sushi Appetizers such as the Crispy Famous Pancake and the Tuna Dumpling. Soups are available for a vegan diet, such as Miso Soup and Seafood Soup.Kid-friendliness: Due to the kid-friendly nature, large space and homestyle vibe of Sakana, children with their families will be able to dine at this restaurant. No suggestive symbols or pictures are found. There is large room for accompanied children to freely relax and enjoy the delicious Japanese cuisine.“

“The food is definitely delicious and very yummy. I ordered the hibachi trio, and the steak and chicken and shrimp were cooked to perfection. And the white sauce is the best. The service was great and fast. Ambiance is very laid and great for lunch and great takeout, too.“

“Nice mellow atmosphere, excellent polite service, had a hankering for so I stopped in and had shrimp Ramen. In a miso type broth, very flavorful, plenty of shrimp and surimi type stuff. Egg was just poached in the broth. They gave me a free appetizer of , I think, white fish tempura which was amazing, great sauce on it. Would go back again, probably would not get the ramen, though good, I have had better.“

“Authentic Japanese grilled meats!! Very tasty with their different cuts and the meats come with juicy tenderness. The flame is what makes the extra grill taste to the meats! Desserts like the s'mores roasting over open flame is just so much fun with kids! Highly recommend this Japanese Grill! The service was superb with their staffs! Ambiance is great too with the seating arrangements.“

“This is hands down the best restaraunt on LOng Island. No one is doing flavors like Tiga. My boyfriend and I were driving to this place almost weekly and it's 45 min away from us. “Had omakase for my birthday with my wife recently and I was can 1000% say it was the best meal I have ever eaten in my 44 years. I spent 25 years in high end seafood, (wholesale, retail, private chef, and catering) and was blown away by the quality of the fish! The chef was masterful as he balanced every single course (in had the 16) to perfection. He was incredibly skilled and a wonderful artist. The selection of fish from Japan was amazing. He explained every course as he served us. This place is a gem. I have eaten at just about every single sushi restaurant around and on see no reason to go anywhere else anymore. The place is clean and beautiful, the owner and staff were friendly and very interactive. The preparation and care that went into everyone was second to none. “Food 10/10Crazy that their omakase set for takeout is only 60 dollars and the fish is flown in from Totsuya fish market. Incredibly generous servings and the quality of the fish is superb. I was in actual shock when I took the first bite. The rice is alright, but the star of the show is always the fish so it doesn’t really matter. So impressed by their supreme sushi and sashimi set. Better than some omakase spots in manhattan. So delicious and so close to home too I can’t wait to return.“

Every bite was better than the last. If I had one note, it would be to please tell me what everything is when setting the plate down! “Best hidden gem at Pelham. My family and I come here at least twice every week. Every time we come here, we are always greeted by smiles of the waitress and feel so welcomed. They talk to us like we are friends and always have a good time here. When we order rolls or sushi, the fish is always so fresh. Every single single time. Does not disappoint. The angel roll is a must try, so delicious and such a nice blend and balance of flavors. All of the kitchen foods are so flavorful and delicious. There really isn't a place. My go to sushi place.“

Consider it something like take-out plus, Chinese food with a twist.And it is not just "Chinese" food, under the category of "Asian fusion" their menus are a little bit from the many color cultures of the East. There is a flat rate for seating and you get your choice of broth and access to all the noodles, vegetables, fish and meat balls, tofu and bean curd and even dessert. For sliced meats, fish and even dumplings, you order by the plate.The service is pretty good, helpful, nice and knowledgeable. Went there on a date with a lovely friend expecting the usual Kosher Chinese fare that I have had from LA to Pittsburgh to my hometown here on Long Island, NY. I came expecting the food to be the normal I have expected in an inexpensive (for Kosher that is) Chinese restaurant, OK to good. However this restaurant astounded me, it was different!!!The food was fabulous!!! We both had the 'Hot and Sour' soup, and it was impressive! The temp, was just right, not luke-warm as I have come to expect in many restaurants, and, not scaldingly hot, but just right! The spices were hot as they should be, but not too hot. As I said, I was amazed!!!Then for the mains, we had, Spicy Chicken and Curry Chicken. Again the spices were quite hot, but not too, at least for me. They were just wonderful, tasty, yet with a subtle delight. It is hard to express. And we both commented how the presentation of the food on the plates was 'picture perfect.'I would suggest you go and write your own experience! I live 30 miles on the other side of the NYC metro area where traveling can be a challenge all on its own, but for this restaurant in the Bronx, NYC, NY, Kai Fan, I will be returning!!!ps I only wish they were closer to me here on Long Island!!pss I was served by one of the owners, and an owner was on duty at the cash register! “I rarely give review but Hana definitely deserve a good one. Ambience is great with full service bar adjacent to a large dining area with nice booths and tables. There's a large sushi bar perfect for Omakase, which is what my husband and I have ordered. Fish is very fresh and each sushi is skillfully prepared and perfectly seasoned, no further condiment is needed. For the quality of the fish it is well worth $90, consider the price elsewhere especially in the city are way higher. Among all the delicious sushi on the omakase menu I especially like toro, salmon with roasted tomato and eel with avocado (I know, who knew the most simple dishes will be the ones that impress you the most :) They also give you complimentary edamame as starter which is kinda nice. Compare to other upscale Japanese restaurants with nice deco but just okay food, Hana is definitely a hidden gem on Long Island waiting to be discovered.“
