“My husband and I had a great meal here for my birthday ! We ordered octopus starter, I had scallops and he had lamb lollipops. Everything was so delightfully fresh and delicious ! We overheard the owner say most of the seafood had come from Boston area just a day prior and you could definitely tell with how tender the scallops were ! The atmosphere has allure, great for an intimate meal and had a couple large parties so could host a larger party as well. There was plenty of parking. Josh was our waiter and said he was new but was attentive and helpful with menu recommendations. Prices are a bit on the higher end but dont let that deter you, the quality and great service makes it worth every penny! We will be back- wehad trouble not going back later in the week !“
“Enjoyed an excellent meal last night with my wife. Berry salad was the perfect starter. Lobster ravioli with white wine cream sauce and langoustine lobster tails was scrumptious. I had the cioppino special and the broth was spiced just right for dipping with the garlic bread pieces. Clams, calamari, and mussels were tender and tasty. Salmon was a nice addition.We let our server make several wine choices that we enjoyed. Service was excellent and attentive. Pistachio cake dessert was a nice finish.We will return soon to try the honey lemon scallops and several of the shareables.Highly recommended!“

I noticed that most customers wipe their plates clean, so not too many doggie bags here.There were six in our party. and we ordered spaghetti & meatballs, a large, delicious bowl of tripe, 2 orders of raviolis and meatballs"and two orders of gnocchi with meatballs. “I really liked the food and the vibes at Thali, the butter chicken is my top in Rochester right now. But I gotta say, I was slightly disappointed with the service. When we came in, it took a while for any server to even notice us, and I had to kind of ask for a menu or service. However, that was acknowledged and they gave me a drink to make up for it.Although, I was later charged for the drink at the end of my bill. So, that was weird lolOther than that, once the order was taken, our food was out fairly promptly, and I really liked what we had. I would quite love to go back!“
“The food here is really good! They have a limited menu, which allows their food to be delicious. They even have a vegetarian option, which I feel like you don't often see on limited menus. Our server was very attentive and checked on us several times without being over the top. The inside of the restaurant is nice and quiet...easy to have a conversation.“

There's wine options as well, not sure about cocktails honestly didn't look for them. Really chill vibe and kinda like a secret spot guide. Can get food from the other restaurants there. Not a lot else to say, just a good little spot.“

All the staff were attentive, starting with the gracious hostess, the knowledgeable waiter, Nico, and the bus staff who filled our water, gave us more delicious bread and packed our leftovers to go. “This is a hidden GEM in Rochester, NY! It is not a "pub" where the bar is the main focal point. It's in the back but is much more a fine dining type restaurant and well worth the visit. We had the twin 3oz filet, crab cake, mashed potato dish special and it was out of this world! We finished it off with peanut butter pie and coffee which was the perfect ending to an amazing meal with my husband!Highly recommend!“

“Whenever my parents come to Rochester to visit, we go here. The meatball is so good like I crave that meatball at times. Chicken Parmesan is pretty good. The penne Al a vodka is a little spicy but it’s Okay. The people are very nice to us the bread is great. Will continue to go to Benucci’s :)“
“Came here with a large group and ended up trying a bunch of stuff. For apps, the shrimp tostada and crab dip were alright. The salmon salad was rather simple, but the salmon was cooked very well. Everyone raves about the chicken n waffles. I had a N.A. Negroni, which is basically a 0 proof liquor, with botanicals and I was quite impressed. Service was pretty good.“
