“Nice simple place to gether with family and friends. I tried dozens of our russian diners in Queens, this particular place is #1 for Lagman, Lagman is extremely good, made with hand-made noodles and very delicious, decent portions. I tried lamb samosa their samosa looks beautiful but has little more onions than meat inside, Pilov was made well very delicious.real Uzbek pilov cooked on open wood fire, here pilov tastes better than most other places. They have better cooks. Good looking plates and silverware, perfect service, 5 stars overall ✨“

“An amazing Russian Jewish restaurant with a homestyle taste. The kebabs are excellent. Freshly made and bursting with flavor. The kebabs accompany the bread that you can get very well. The partially cooked onions offer a nice bit of flavor compliment to the meats and bread. Overall superb food quality. Service is less than desirable. Restaurant seating is tight.“

“Can a slice of cake be life changing? I'm literally in the middle of eating a slice of their strawberry sumac cake and I'm definitely feeling that way. It's so dense and moist but still also fluffy and refreshing? The flavor is deep and complex but still accessible and it has a rich level of sweetness without being cloying. It's a slice of cake that can't be consumed mindlessly - it stops you in your tracks when you take a bite because it's THAT good. I'm being long-winded but as someone who has eaten more cake than advisable in their lifetime, I am grateful to have ByClio in my neighborhood as a place that not only delights but excites with every new flavor offered. “Lovely, compact Scandi bakery with a small market in the back with selection of Haribo licorice and more.We ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich, cardamom bun, and salmon focaccia. When I come back, I’m definitely going to order the breakfast sandwich with a perfect brioche bun and thick multi-herb green aioli/sauce as the bottom layer! This was the most memorable of the items. Salmon was generously applied to the focaccia along with thick chive cream cheese, but the flavor combination wasn’t quite as unique in the lox bagel capital of the world. The cardamom bun could benefit from, well, more cardamom. And I fully admit that I’m not being quite fair on this front after having tasted the cardamom buns at Juno Bakery in Copenhagen, which are laced with so much freshly ground cardamom throughout that the scent fills the surrounding neighborhood. If you’ve tasted these buns, Smor’s will underwhelm you, but they are definitely one of the best in NYC.“

“Mom and I visited Guria for the first time on a Saturday, late afternoon. The young man at the counter assured us he would answer any questions. We sat down in this bright, clean cafe and had some delicious Borscht, which Mom described as "tangy". There was a lady in the kitchen kneading dough and bringing out freshly baked Georgian breads. We had wonderful mushroom bread fresh from the oven! Mom had a large cup of foaming coffee which looked and smelled terrific, and we shared a piece of Georgian baklava which, unlike Greek baklava, has thick layers of pastry and is filled with walnuts and raisins--loved it! I will absolutely return to try Guria's "batons" of shoti (amazingly chewy Georgian bread) and the Lobiani (Georgian red bean bread). Dumplings can be ordered in advance. There were several varieties of soup and breads available for take-out. Thanks to the baklava, I was able to resist the tempting chocolate chip cookies displayed under a glass dome. I tremendously appreciated the patience and kindness of the young man who answered my questions and served us with a smile. I am so impressed with the hard-working lady, tirelessly baking in the kitchen. Thanks, Guria, for a lovely lunch!“

There are a few counter seats by the window and some tables on the sidewalk outside for those who want to eat at the bakery. I was hoping to get their chocolate PB croissant, but they didn't have them that morning, so I ended up getting the double baked pistachio croissant and the earl grey morning bun. The pistachio croissant was very good - super flaky and crispy on the outside and not too sweet. I liked the whole pieces of pistachio on top. The early grey morning bun was also solid, and I really liked how strong the early grey flavor was. Overall this bakery is great, but I knocked off a star because this place is pricey, even for NYC ($8 for a croissant!). I also don't think it's worth waiting in line for on the weekends, so I'm glad I got to go during the weekday.“

We liked the smaller, slightly sweet, baked, 8-to-a-box, red roast pork buns better because of the higher meat to bun ratio. Considering that, I think it's a pretty cheap price.I've only purchased take-out items, but there is an eat-in area, and I feel like the customer base is mostly cute women. It was never crowded, giving the impression that it was a hidden gem of a sweets shop. It's in East Harlem, so I'm hesitant to go there, but I feel like Japanese tourists can walk up to East 100th without worrying. This is my favorite sweets specialty store.A mousse with a smooth texture.I especially recommend the passion fruit flavor. But overall the avocado and the eggs were good enough for a 4⭐, and I think the two things that helped to push it over the edge to 5⭐ were the bread and the pickled peppers. In particular the pickled peppers added a little bit of sweetness and a little kick. Pleasant surprise.Matcha latte was reasonable and not remarkable -- lacking in latte art but slightly making up for it in portion. Also, could have been sifted/whisked some more because there were lumpy chunks at the bottom. Nevertheless I won't let this pull down the 5⭐ for food.~10am on a rainy Sunday morning but the place was almost full. And there was a robust pickup / delivery business.“

“First and foremost, their pastries are wonderful! Came in the morning when everything was well stocked. They had a variety of bomboloni (Italian fried doughnuts), croissants, cookies and muffins. They had at least 3 different flavors of bomboloinis (orange spritz, blueberry/raspberry, strawberry cream) and at least 4 type of croissants (butter, everything, basil cream cheese, espresso). There were even more but I've forgotten. I got two sweet and two savory ones plus an Americano. The total was $28 which in my opinion is a decent price for NYC. I saw a board outside that a breakfast sandwich and drip coffee combo is $9. Other than what's displayed, they also have a food menu. I noticed someone ordered an everything croissant with egg and salmon or prosciutto. It looked really good so I will definitely be going back for that. They have a large space. There are cozy seats and tables at the front. The back has plenty of tables and chairs. They even have a long bar table with high chairs against the wall opposite their open kitchen. They also placed a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk. Most importantly, they have one clean handicap assessable restroom. Next to that there is a storage area that they tried to shield with trees. I appreciate they try to make the space pretty and clean.“

“A hidden gem in Tribeca and hands down one of the top bakeries in NYC!We tried sicilian pistachio ($7.5) and Kouign-Amann (caramelized croissant, $5.5). Pistachio croissant was the best one I have ever had in the city. It was so buttery and flaky. It is true that they are slightly more expensive than other bakeries, but I highly recommend trying their pistachio croissant. you won't regret“

“The spot to stop at when in New York. The consistency of this sponge cake is remarkable. $1 for original and $1.25 for flavored..there is a sponge cake with chocolate in it and it just bursts with flavor. It taste authentic just like the ones from Hong Kong ??. This shop is off the main street and if you don’t see the sign you’d walk right past. The Best Sponge Cakes in New York.It is like a sterile cafeteria in here and clean. Go early in the morning when all the flavors are out. Later in the evening almost everything is almost gone. Check it out and you’ll be glad you did.“

“I love love love this place and order burritos frequently from here as a weekend treat. However, my order is frequently wrong. I would definitely check your burrito before taking it away! I am lactose intolerant and get the veggie burrito with vegan cheese and maybe 25% of the time they give me a chorizo burrito with regular cheese. Today is one of those days ???. I should have checked! I would say that this place would be a nightmare if you have life threatening dietary restrictions.“
