Can’t go through the North Clinton neighborhood without stopping at Borinquen Bakery. I thought they were kidding when they said they don’t speak English, but they ain’t lying. Make sure to brush up on your Spanish before you go in and don’t forget to say gracias. The food is outstanding. Got a Cuban and it was absolutely delicious. Very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Even if you don’t come to this neighborhood often this place is worth going out of your way for.
Great pastries ! We went for tres leches which was amazing. Great prices too. Small place but tables available to sit down and have a sandwich and a drink, and don't forget dessert.!!!

The sweet bread is delicious! Served fresh and warm, and you get two loaves per order. I recommend not ordering more than one, because you will eat both loaves in one sitting. It's that good! Soft, and a little sweet. They're like little pillows of heaven. You have to arrive early, or they might sell out! However, they've got plenty of other cuban delights to choose from if they do.
