“The food was amazing! I had the egg sandwich on an olive mini focaccia made the "house" way, with mustard and NY cheddar cheese --it was DELICIOUS! I also recommend the chia latte. On top of the food being delicious, Essell the chef and owner has create such a fun and welcoming environment. My friends and I ate our breakfast and stayed in the bakery of nearly 3 hours conversing in conversation with Essell and other members of the community that stopped in. Truly so such a fun experience and we felt very welcomed into the Rosendale community! Thank you all!“

“My husband and I have been to breakfast twice in the last month and both times it was delicious. My husband is a big fan of the chicken and waffles. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff. We get inspired by the chalkboards for new dinner ideas to cook at home! A++“

“Wow!! As we were waiting to be seated, two different people stopped at the pizza oven on their way out of the restaurant to compliment the chefs. One turned to us and said we're in for a treat, and the other described their meal as "so special and yummy." They were both 100% correct.The pizza was delicious!! We ordered the regular pie, didn't add any extra toppings, and it was incredible. Simple ingredients and so so tasty.The other dishes we ordered were great as well. Highly recommend getting the antipasto if you want an appetizer!! It was piled high with sliced meats and three different kinds of cheeses, all on a bed of arugula and seasoned tomato slices, PLUS a rice ball! Amazing value for the price (the picture I included was taken after I had already eaten some meat). And if you want dessert I highly recommend the housemade lemon pie, it was the perfect way to end the meal. Not too sweet and not too sour.“

“This place is great and I can't recommend it enough. Not only is the quality of food amazing but the staff and service have always been extremely friendly, welcoming with a non-pretentious attitude. This place is accesible for local Kingston residents, unlike some of the gentrification cafes that have popped up in recent years that cater strictly to tourists or recent, wealthy transplants. The prices here are actually fair- like it doesn't cost $12 for a breakfast sandwich with no meat on it- fair. Very clean and like I said, high quality taste in food. I always get a breakfast sandwich but their lunch options are great too. There is no better place to get a breakfast sandwich in Kingston. I love Fat Cat !“

“I stop here every now and then when I'm driving upstate to my brother's place by Rhinebeck. Him and his wife and kids (lots of kids) are all vegan, so I can generally get a good variety of treats for the house. The bakery products always look lovely and the store's overall aesthetic is very nice, but I find the actual taste and flavors to be very hit or miss- some things are excellent, some very mediocre- but there's so few vegan options upstate, so this spot is certainly filling a void. However, the staff very frequently are unwelcoming, sometimes to the point of outright rudeness. They seem to treat their paying customers in a very snobbish manner for some reason, which is unfortunate. I often walk out wondering why the overall experience was so strange, but I guess it's just something that you have to live with if you want to have a vegan dessert in the Hudson Valley.“

“Stopped in here on a Wednesday around 12:30PM when I was just passing by the city. There was only one other couple in the restaurant eating when I got inside. It seems like they have a lot of interesting options but I just went for a double scoop protein bowl of tuna. It was kind of expensive for what you got out of it but it tasted fresh and the pineapple miso sauce was really good! The workers were extremely nice and it was overall a good experience!“

“I stopped here to get a light lunch and for a rest stop during a road trip. Although the listing makes it seem like a food court, it is actually a single ordering counter that offers coffees and a variety of prepared food items. I wanted something light, so I tried the empanadas with chimichurri. Although the portion size was good, the filling tasted like "sloppy Joe" meat, and the sauce was sweet. The restaurant has ample indoor seating, and a nice outdoor deck. Parking is limited, and I was lucky to arrive before the lunchtime crowd.“

“Lagusta's Luscious vegan chocolate caramels are the best chocolate caramels I've ever had. Full stop. The flavor combinations are original and delightful, and create rich, complex treats. My only complaint is that there are not two layers in the box. I just told my family that after I eat the last one, a little piece of my soul dies. They're really that good.“

Unassuming from the outside, the dining room opens into a large room with quaintly matched tables and chairs, brightly-colored vases, and rustic art on the walls. “Love this place. Best coffee around. The espresso is rich and creamy. Pastries are amazing every time. Also the service is perfect. I honestly can’t find another place like it. “I have been going to this Moonburger since opening week. The service is always amazing. The location is perfect right off the highway. The food is the true star, however. Every single item on the Moonburger menu is a winner. Even my most die-hard carnivore friends are hooked on these perfect, plant based patties dressed to the nines, the oatmilk shakes are decadent without leaving you feeling bloated like a milkshake, and I always recommend getting a side of cheese sauce with your cajun fries. “I’m gonna be honest, I thought this was a haunted house attraction. I was really excited and going to wait until October, but luckily I only had to wait until 4:30! The food came out super fast and was absolutely delicious. Sorry that I didn’t take pictures. I stuffed my face. Also because the sushi was so stuffed that it was falling apart in my visceral grip. “My friends and I visited Brooklyn Cider House on a snowy Saturday, which was lovely because we were the only ones there upon arriving. The indoor area has a good amount of seating to accommodate visitors, and there's also items for sale lining the walls including snacks, drinks, etc. We all opted for flights, but their machine had an issue processing card payments likely due to the snowstorm. We were still able to place orders and pay later on once the issue was resolved. The dry flight was okay, the sweet flight was a little better. I wanted to order a particular one on tap, but it seemed they had a very minimal selection available for those. It would be nice if there were more tap options, as that form is always the best for ciders. It's worth stopping in if you're planning on hanging around New Paltz, but I wouldn't make an entire trip there for the cidery.“

“We stumbled upon Hickory on our way back from a hike. The interior is very country and classic bbq. We ordered the brisket entree and a combo entree with ribs. Both came with 2 sides. All of the food was absolutely delicious and not salty which I usually find with other bbq restaurants. We'd love to return“

Paulina was very nice, attentive, and simply awesome in serving us and explaining the specials of that evening. We enjoyed both our Chicken and Steak Specials along with our drinks and dessert! We highly recommend this gem!Parking: Parking on the nearby ground can be filled up quickly. Also, the free parking near the movie theater can also be filled up quickly. So get here as early as possible.“
