“My father and I came here for my early birthday dinner. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing, and the decor was beautiful. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We started off with the brussel sprouts and the beet salad, both of which were fabulous. For our entrees we got the short rib ragout, the broccoli rabe and sausage pasta, and the lemon herb haddock. Everything was phenomenal and the portions were large. “We've been to the Farmhouse a number of times. We went last night for my mother in law's birthday. I forgot to take a picture of our food. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Their food changes pretty seasonally so they always have variety. This time I went with their burger, and it was delicious! I think it's the first time I've had the burger. The meat was delicious and the local bun was a nice touch. For my drink I got the Farmhouse Spritz ,which I'm pretty sure I get every time but it was even better than usual last night. They have a good selection of local beers. My husband got the Hangover sandwich which had fried egg and pork belly. He said it was delicious!“
“We went to dinner at Scotti's recently and it was incredible. I had the Veal Gaetano and my wife had the Chicken with white wine. Both were superb ....the veal tender and perfectly cooked and the chicken moist and delicious. The sides broccoli and linguini were an excellent complement to our dinner. To top it off we had the tiramisu and it was easily the best tiramisu of any restaurant we've visited. Kudos to the owner and staff for a great evening!“

“First of all, the food. WOW!! Quite literally the best garlic knots we have ever had in our lives, and the pizza sauce with them was super tasty! Fried mushrooms were pretty good, I mean fried mushrooms can only get so good. We were torn on the pizza...I think it's delicious and loved the fact that this is one of the ONLY pizzas we've gotten locally that passed the fold test when we got home!! That is, the end of the slice didn't bend down when you hold it to eat. My boyfriend thought it was pretty regular pizza, but the sauce was a bit sweeter like I prefer and the topping to pizza ratio was perfect. Service was as good as you could ask for. Well staffed and not a lot of waiting around at all. From payment to leaving was under 3 minutes and all the staff were friendly and double checked that the order was accurate before I left. Food was also fairly priced, not something you see so much these days. Ambiance here was lacking but who goes to a pizza place for the ambiance? Your standard pizza place off the highway, but a step above with the service and food. Stop in to Rosa's and see what they're all about. You won't regret it!“

“I thought the pizza was really good compared to other local options. When I walked at 11:45 am on a Tuesday, the bar area was full of people while the rest of the restaurant appeared empty! Super noisy! Maybe there was an event or business party? Seemed like a good sign. Since I was picking up, I just walked over to the cash register and pulled out my cash, since there was a sign notifying you of a 3% surcharge on card charges. Pizza came out hot and smelling delicious! I ordered a large but since there is thick crust, and a 8-slice pizza, it seemed to be what a size medium would look like. The crust was flavorful and crispy on the bottom, but chewy on the sides and top. The crust was thick! There wasn't a lot of cheese grease dripping off, which is a good thing. I felt that the sauce was bland and not very thick, so a little disappointed about that but it wasn't a deal breaker. At $2.50 per topping, the toppings were well-distributed and fresh, so that was good. All in all a very good pizza. It was around $26 for a "large, three topping, 8-slice pizza, for take out" and we really enjoyed it especially since many of the other pizza places near Niskayuna/NE Schenectady are don't sell the style of pizza we like. I understand the positive reviews and happy to have discovered this place close to home.“

Marisa's is the best pizza we've had in years, including the last 10 years we were in Brooklyn. Their crust is magnificent, their sauce is spectacular, and the topping ingredients are truly lovely. This is a neighborhood townie type place which has it's charm. The clientele will be throwing around a lot of salty language late at night but it's mostly 50 plus so any bar fight is more likely to be comical than dangerous. Now down to the what's important. The wings are amazing and the home made blue cheese is incredible. I won't go anywhere else for wings in Guilderland. People I've come with have all been satisfied with their meals (burgers, nachos, salads etc.). Beer/drink selection and price are standard for a neighborhood bar. Even though there is a no frills vibe the interior was recently redone and it's nice and clean.... this isn't exactly a dive bar. I've been going since the late '70s after football games at Bleeker Stadium.The present owner has expanded to this new site on Western Ave (formerly Dorado's) in front of Star Plaza. People at the did have apps in front of them. When we were all present we were seated immediately. I missed the waitperson name - sorry.As per tradition the go it was Orchard pizza & chix wings. First the pizza - original style Orchard pizza which is a thin, crispy, 10 cut. They start at $10. for a cheese pizza -your choice of 18 toppings are $1.50 each. They also have white, vegetarian, & 12 speciality pizzas, such as buffalo chicken & shrimp scampi. We had three pizza at our table, half taken home. Wings are $13. for 10 in seven flavors w/ celery & blue cheese. Always consistently tasty and always cooked correctly - crispy skin and cooked through to the bone. Great job. NOTE: On your actual birthday the Orchard will treat you to a wing for each year of your age (in house only).I went for something different. I ordered a Philly cheese steak ($13). When it came out it looked fine to me, but the owner came over and said it was not the way he told his staff to make it. He offered to make a new one but I was OK w/ this one.
