“WOW!! I pass this place all the time omw back from Middletown to Sussex and kept saying I would stop and get a pie. I finally did and their pizza is PHENOMENAL. I got a large pepperoni and sausage. Pizza was fresh, sauce was filled with flavor, cheese was perfect and bubbly and the crust had the perfect crunch. Absolutely amazing. Friendly staff too. Give them a try!“

“I had my husbands birthday party there on 04/14/2024. I couldn't say enough nice things about the staff and the place itself. Everything was absolutely amazing. I would rate it higher then 5 stars if it allowed. The staff were very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect. We were allowed to come in when they opened to set up completely how we wanted as well. My son is 3 and they made sure he had the utensils he needed to eat and pasta and butter. One of the best services I had and it couldn't have been a better experience. Absolutely amazing experience.....Thank you again.“

“We moved to Florida and we wish we could bring Cuginos with us. Well actually, don't judge... but we have packed up food to fly home with us a few times! We CRAVE the food and we look forward to dining here every time we visit NY. We love everything we have tried but a few of our favorites are the Pizza, Garlic Knots with Cheese, Thai Chili Wings well done, hot honey espresso slice with pepperoni, Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm and Penne Ala Vodka. We have ordered trays of the Penne Ala Vodka and Eggplant Parm in the past as well, and it's a guaranteed hit at parties! My husband has always said you can put their Vodka sauce on a shoe and it will taste good. It's a family owned and operated restaurant. The owner Maria is an absolute gem and the staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is always clean and nicely decorated. This place remains at the top of my list and the quality of food is highly deserving of the best rating!“

“So my husband stops here regularly for mussels to go for dinner. Their mussels are amazing, the sauce is great and you get more than 2 dozen mussels for less than $12! We went there for breakfast this morning, I had 2 eggs, bacon and toast with coffee and my husband had the same with home fries..again $12! I would absolutely recommend this place, cute atmosphere, they sell honey, some sundries and hot sauces! The prices are unbelievable and the food is top notch, plus the staff is friendly and efficient!“

Because it was Friday evening and we didn't have reservations, I didn't expect for us to be able to get a table let alone get seated right away so that was awesome. “Their pizza is excellent!! I would call myself a pizza lover (I could always go for a slice of pizza). This is the best pizza in the area. The s⁸auce is way better than Pizza Express, and Rookies has gone downhill lately. The owner, Sal, is a great guy and is much nicer than the previous owner. Portions are sizeable, and the lunch specials are ridiculous. I would definitely recommend you give them a try. You won't be disappointed.“

“I ordered the gnocchi which came with salad and bread and it was amazing. The salad was really good with the peppers and olives onions and tomatoes and the pasta had asparagus mushrooms and peppers which I never had before. The service is outstanding everyone is very very polite and kind. They have beautiful Italian instrumental music playing while you eat and tv. I highly recommend this place to eat.“

“Our family was looking last minute for a place to have a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s ninth birthday after our original reservation fell through at another place. Pelligrinos is our favorite pizza spot so I called them. It was 5:30PM on a Friday night and I asked if they could accommodate our party of nine at 7:00. They were happy to prepare a table for us! I was shocked. They brought us the most incredible plate antipasto and placed it in front of our daughter and said happy birthday! Then we have the most delicious apps, pizza and an incredible pasta special for dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! They then brought complimentary fried dough for dessert for the table!What an incredible experience! We were so grateful that they not only came to our rescue at that late hour, but they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. “So, I stopped by what looked like a regular pizzeria to find that this place is a restaurant and pizzeria. The pizza was great and the garlic knots were soft and full of that wonderful garlic flavor. I would recommend stopping by this surprisingly good spot. Oh and they have a full bar and wine.“

I asked if they could just add more of the meat that they had, they obliged, and what I picked up was outstanding.. “Cheese and pepperoni pizza was great. Garlic knots were some of the better ones I've tried, very soft. Also they threw in some kind of dessert. It was like a sugar powder dough thing and it was great! I ordered delivery and it took a little long so I called to check on it and the staff was extremely kind and helpful and even called back to check in that we received our order. Now that's just technical stuff everything we've ordered has been amazingly delicious and you can see all the dishes are prepared well and with love! My Wife loves Linguine in Red Clam sauce but has been sorely disappointed with it from other Italian eateries locally. These folks got it spot on, so much so that she's ordered it repeatedly since her first experience. The chef salad is absolutely fantastic as is the Gnocchi Bolognese. “We ordered pick up, food was ready on time. Pizza crust is thinner and crispy which is exactly the way I like it! Good sauce, plenty of cheese. The order of wings is 12 which is 2-4 more than most places offer. The mild sauce was good, wings were crispy, no flabby skin!! The menu is extensive, lots to choose from. I was a little surprised at the price - 2 personal pizzas and order of wings was $52. But, I understand the price of everything is going up. I'm looking forward to trying more items on their menu.“

“This restaurant is definitely deserving of 5 stars! We just moved into the area yesterday and by the time the movers were gone, we were exhausted and starving. We walked across the street and found this gem! First, the owners were beyond friendly! She told us to take our time looking at the menu. We decided on Italian subs with a side of onion rings. She warmly invited us to sit at the counter while we waited for our food. She even said their menu is available online and showed me where on their Facebook page. The onion rings were not only delicious and perfectly crispy, the serving was plentiful for 2. Our subs were perfect! The bread is so fresh and again, the meat and cheese were very plentiful. The cold cuts are fresh and delicious. It was difficult to decide on one thing because their menu offers so many options. I am so looking forward to trying more items on their menu. “Food was delicious don't get me wrong but the caprese salad wasn't near what I expected based on the traditional experience. Then a manager came and asked what happened I replied with caprese salad is normally medallions of tomatoes and mozzarella with a basil leaf on each. This was plum tomatoe slices pilled like lettuce and miniature mozzarella rings and slices of basil and very little balsmic glaze with a side of balsamic dressingal and he says let me see what I can do. He comes back and says I took half off next time tell me at the beginning. I will return again because the food is phenomenal with the hopes of them making adjustments to that dish.“
