The fresh pasta with seasonal preparations are always divine and not your classic Italian dishes (e.g. gnocci with the lamb neck meat this spring, and wild boar in the winter), the wine on point, and the service warm and authentic. The atmosphere is elevated bistro, so it works for date night or dinner with friends but the food is significantly better than any other local restaurant. The chef didn't earn a Michelin bib for nothing.“

“When you travel, you seek to find outstanding restaurants. Sometimes you win, other times, you don't. The Hudson House is a great find, a winner at every turn! From our initial greeting by the owner, Matt, to the great staff who didn't miss a beat, to the most critical part, the food, there wasn't a moment of regret. We started with a couple of tables shares. We had cheese plate with 3 cheeses, homemade fig jam to die for, fresh thinly sliced honeycrisp apples, delicious grapes, and an oil-infused crustini. Perfect start, followed by the burrata and pumpkin seed salad with carmelized pears and sweet potato chunks. I didn't think it could get better after this. I tried the sweet potato and fennel soup, very warm and hearty on a cold night, and the taste was just as I hoped! A beet and farro salad with radishes hit the mark! My partner had a fresh halibut that was cooked to perfection, served on ramen noodles and baby bok choy, with an array of fresh mushrooms, with a gentle but flavorful broth, but not enough to be called soup. To me, one of the best fish dishes I've tasted in a long time. Our guests, the wedding couple, ordered duck breast confit, and hanger steak. The duck, one of her favorites, was tender, most, cooked properly and seasoned well. It was a hit with her and her mother. The hanger steak was the choice of the groom, a very picky eater. He couldn't stop reaching about how amazing it was! Sadly, we were so full, we couldn't eat dessert. All the desserts are homemade by the owner, and they sounded unbelievable. But I'll have to return another time to speak to them. Finally, ask to sit in the jail cell. The pictures tell only some of the story. It's a wine cellar, a hidden romantic getaway, a reprise of days long gone. Or have a seat at the bar with the locals. Or just come and see the beautiful tin ceiling and walls. No matter what you do here, you won't be disappointed.“

Then we tried 2 other entrees that I cant remember the names but the taste was unforgettable, one had had honey on it and the other arugula- the bread, folks will make you rethink Keto- reminds me of home made bread. Just had one meal there so far but we ordered three different entrées two of which were terrific and the third was good, but nothing amazing. I got the seafood gumbo, which was really delicious . Very generous portions too. We also ordered an appetizer which was delicious, but I'm having trouble remembering what we got. I'm definitely planning to go back a couple more times and will update the review then with more specifics. Very nice and helpful wait staff.“

The restaurant is nice, good environment and looks like a great bar area. It's a good local place, for families as well as adult groups.“

“Making a delivery for Uber which is funny I came to this place for the first time. Looking around I knew that this was a place I wanted to try. So I went back and how amazing is the food. A healthy option for good. I came here twice already and did the hamburger the first time and it was so good. The staff is friendly and always have a smile to help seat and serve you. “What a fun place, we visited this bar/restaurant on Thursday night for music bingo. All ages welcome, they have a happy hour drink and food menu until 730 I think. Food and drinks were good, drinks pretty strong and consistent. If you’re looking to unwind on a Thursday night, this is the place. They do offer a full lunch and dinner menu and they also have other fun activities on different days of the week. Go have fun.“

“My cousin comes here three days a week and every time we plan lunch this is one of the few places he will eat. I have come here with him on four different occasions and every time I leave, I think to myself why don’t I come here more often. I had the special today. Fish and chips. Absolutely delicious big large piece of fish fried well batter flavorful french fries absolutely delicious and it comes with these really good spicy pickles. The place is really clean and the white stuff is great. I have no complaints but it is one of those places that when you leave you feel good after you ate. It’s worth it.“

When you are asked if you want your martini served in a martini glass that's a problem. I asked for stuffed olives and was served plain. She corrected it later after I asked.
