“Love this cute bagel shop! Every time I have come, the bagels have been fresh and delicious. I’m a cream cheese gal (who isn’t, though) and theirs is REALLY good with several flavor options. Everyone who works there is friendly and greets you with a smile. Today I ordered a latte and the girl working the counter suggested I try their buttered popcorn flavor if I am feeling adventurous, so I did. So good! I greatly appreciated the suggestion since she could tell I was having a hard time deciding, haha. All in all, definitely recommend this spot.“
“Excellent cheesecake. Problem with sweets in the USA is that they are too sweet. As if the sweeter it is, the better it is. Not the cheesecakes at this location. Have had the chance to try 2 different flavors and they are always just the perfect sweetness and consistency. Sweet enough that is a dessert, but not so sweet that is disgustingly sweet. There are so many flavors to try that even though I've wanted to go in and ask if they have a slice of plain cheesecake, I walk in, see the flavors on the board, and game over. At $7/per slice though, I want to say that is a bit too high, but at the same time, it keeps me from buying too many slices! ?“
“I'm not sure I can even form the words on how delicious the cup cakes and cookies were that I got yesterday from Sweet Elevation! My mouth is still watering just thinking about them! I'm so glad this spot opened in Latham, so close by, it's such a cute bakery and the staff was so nice. I can't wait to go back and see what else I can sink my teeth into! Highly recommended - I've heard they take special orders for events, too, so I'll be ordering for my next asap!“
“What an amazing place! Not only was the food delicious! The person was just an absolute saint! Doesn’t get any better than a hardworking mother! I was just feeling so defeated and really needed some chocolate. I’m sure every knows what I mean. We left her shop feeling more uplifted and reminded that we are all doing the best we can. Thanks for making us laugh! Not all places can bring an atmosphere like this one can! I highly recommend this place. She is bringing more joy to the world everyday you can just tell!“
“Second time ordering from them and just as great as the first order! The pizza is done exactly the way you ask. Thier baked goods look out of this world, but have not tried any yet. I would 10 out of 10 recommend! I'm just saying we drive from Niskayuna just for their Pizza.“
“Elaine was so sweet and kind working with me to design a cake I had in mind. She was very knowledgeable, quick response time, and helped set my expectations so I felt confident in the cake I was picking. Super delicious, will come again in the future! :)Elaine was very sweet and kind to work with me to design a cake I had in mind. “Absolutely love this place! I have yet to try an item I didn't demolish! Shannon, the owner, is as warm and friendly as anyone could be and chatting with her is just as enjoyable as the delicious baked goods. You can taste the love in every bite. Will never stop going!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free / dairy free / vegan options!“
“Was visiting our kid at UAlbany and I felt like a sandwich. What a great local place, had a great sandwich great salad, got some baked goods. They were friendly. The food was great. Can’t wait to try it again, I heard they have some pretty good breakfast sandwiches, we will be back.“
“My dad used to work in downtown Albany and would bring home the most amazing rolls from Nino's Bakery when I was young. My husband and I recently went to find those same rolls that would stand up to meatball subs, Philly cheesesteaks, and such.. Found them and I will be going back every time I need a sturdy, chewy, soft, delicious roll! Oh and I have to go back because she mentioned they fill their cannolis fresh when you order!“
“Such a cute little bakery !! I definitely got an old school Italian vibe that reminded me of Arthur Ave in NYC. I got a few donuts and they were the best I’ve ever had!! I really wish i bought more. I would make the hour & a half drive just to try it again!“
“Nothing Bundt Cakes: A Bundt-astic Bite of Heaven (Especially for the Gluten-Free Folks!) If you're looking for a special treat, a delightful surprise, or simply a way to brighten your day, I highly recommend heading to Nothing Bundt Cakes and grabbing yourself one (or a dozen!) of their Gluten-Free Lemon Raspberry Bundtlets. You won't regret it!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available.“
“Beautiful and delicious cake! We had an 8” round, funfetti cake with a layer of chocolate buttercream inside and white buttercream on the outside. We decided to try a new bakery because we haven’t been really happy with previous places and we were so happy we did! It was perfectly decorated and absolutely delicious! The buttercream was creamy and sweet without being grainy and overly sweet and cake was so moist and flavorful! Thank you so much, we’ve found our new bakery for all of our spec8al cakes!“
“Absolutely hands down the best gluten free bakery I've come across in the tri-state area. The muffins are moist, soft and have that perfect crumble. The cream puff was divine. We also tried the peanut butter cake which was also the perfect combination of sweet, and moist. This bakery reminded us of very good French bakeries in our past pre-gf. From the moment you go in, the environment and space is so welcoming. They have so much and the service is top notch. Aside from baked goods, they have ice cream sandwiches, edible cookie dough, frozen bread and goodies. They also have chocolate, flour mixes and souvenirs. I am thankful we don't live nearby because I'd have a hard time not going a few times a week. There's also plenty of parking and it got two thumbs up from non-gf eaters and from kiddo.“
“It doesn’t matter if you are a local or you are visiting upstate NY, Indian Ladder Farms is a place that you really want to visit, specially during the autumn. They have so many activities like apple picking, great beer, food, music and the traditional cider donuts… the best ones I had ever tasted. Super kid friendly and family oriented. They have cows, goats, chickens and other animals that you can pet and feed. I am so happy to see this place grow and being supported by the community.“
“Outstanding! Huge assortment of drinks available. Best DIRTY CHAI EVERRRRR! Both gluten free and regular bread options. Beautiful & tasty treats. The quiche is really good! Several varieties. Service was fast and friendly. I will always stop when I'm in the area!“
“Same day update: adding an additional star - the owner, Rachel, did call almost within moments of leaving this review, leaving a very kind sounding voice-mail about wanting more details / etc! I think that's really great of the business wanting personal feedback. They also sent me a full refund (which they most definitely did not have to do!!!! I was not expecting that / needing or wanting it, so im surprised they did!) So I will add that at least they are trying to take information from this review going forward! Tasting box - weddingMy fiancé and I purchased a tasting box from Coccadotts recently, and to us, it was pretty sub-par to other tasting boxes we've gotten from other bakeries (Coccadotts is our third box)We aren't sure if it's because that's how the tasting boxes are done at coccadotts, but we did put that we wanted cupcakes in our order form, we received small cakes (Which again, is fine, but just wasn't what we were really initially looking for - we wanted cupcakes since we've noticed these do usually taste slightly different, and we like to see how each bakery frosts / decorates them) - but we didn't really knock off any points for that - Cake is cake at the end of the day!The overall cake taste was really good, moist, good flavor! The frosting, however, felt very thick/heavy and really grainy to us, was not my most favorite. The cakes themselves had frosting writing on them, so we knew which was which [flavor wise]. However, the box also came with little containers - of what? no clue. I wasn't sure if they were fillings, other frostings? Other cake tasting boxes we've gotten, it had a printed-out form of what exactly was inside (cake flavor, frosting, fillings, etc) , which made it a whole lot easier.Something we really were not impressed with at all - When we put our order in, I was e-mailed a couple of times afterward about payment... I paid immediately after I got the first e-mail (shortly after I put my order in) about how to pay for our tasting box and sent a confirmation of it the same day. I then got e-mailed twice after this, basically about "making sure to pay."I understand places of business need payment, this is how they continue to run and stay open. But this felt so impersonal to me.... If I'm going to be e-mailed, I would rather it be a check-in on what we thought of the cakes. One email we received; the first whole sentence didn't even make sense.... It was subjected to the email was "How was your order?" but then the body of the email only talks about payment, stating (this is the entire email body) - "You should have received your total and processed the payment for your upcoming order with us. If you haven't, please check your spam folder and contact us to process payment. All orders must be paid for 24 hours after ordering or will be cancelled." - When I I had already paid..... Just felt very "We only care about money" to me...Additionally, I accidentally put the order in for the wrong day. When I arrived to pick up our tasting box, it wasn't finished because I made a mistake. I asked if they could accommodate for my mistake, they couldn't (which was totally okay, I did not expect them to!) I very politely apologized and said that I was totally fine with coming back for the order date I put - I 100% was not upset at all, it was my goof and didn't blame them for that. The younger woman at the counter was VERY nice, felt super bad (even though it was not her fault at all!) however, another woman came out from the back, too - Immediately seemed annoyed we even asked, barely talked to us, and gave us kind of an attitude about it - I wasn't expecting them to accommodate my mistake and I certainty was 100% okay with coming back in a week. Just felt very uninviting to me.Overall, I just did not get a great vibe... Their cake IS good. Their frosting is okay, but the multiple e-mails all about payment just really didn't sit well with me, and the overall friendliness “
“Where do I begin? We love Cullens. We were so excited when we heard they were opening a coffee shop in Hannaford Plaza. The staff is all AMAZING. EVERY...SINGLE...ONE. Mike, the head baker and owner makes the best bagels! Mine are always hot off the press when I get one. My oldest likes their bagels as well. Their coffee and tea drinks are very tasty as well. And to top it all off, Cullens is lending Voorheesville Production chairs and a table for Chicago! They are such an integral part of the Voorheesville Community. When hardships strike, they are front line to help in big ways. Cullens is great! Everyone should try it!“
“This is a cash-only bakery that seems to operate as a wholesaler but allows walk-in retail sales. It’s mostly hard rolls and sub rolls sold here. The rolls have a crispy outer shell but are soft and chewy inside and have an outstanding taste.“
“I ordered a gluten-free cake for Christmas dinner for guests who were gluten-free. Not only was the cake gorgeous but so good. I even shared it and I'm not gluten-free. Not sure who made the cake or decorated it but as you can see from my photo, it was absolutely stunning and delicious.“
“Our favorite bakery to go to! They’re the sweetest in service, have amazing food, and such a cute place to sit and enjoy. Love to order a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. Best bacon I’ve ever had and the butter from the croissant makes it so good!“
