“First off, first time here, and I have been living on the island for 13 yrs. The food was good. The one thing I didn't like was rasta pasta it was missing something. the cream sauce was a little too thick it didn't coat all the pasta. The stew chicken and black eye peas were my favorite, along with the collard greens. I'll definitely come back for that. The person who took the order could've been paying more attention. The orders got mixed up, but it just seemed a little rush, but overall, it was good.“
“We came for lunch. We had several dishes of pasta, Mac & Cheese and eggplant parmesan. food was great. Service was excellent (including some games for the table until the food was ready). Prices were low! I would definitely come here again.“
“The food is AMAZING! The portions are generous, it's packaged nicely and it seasoned to perfection. This place is small, far from being fancy but the food is AMAZING. This place is literally five minutes away from my house and this is the first time I've ordered from them, it definitely won't be the last time...“
“Good soul food. I had the catfish and two piece breast and wing. I've had better potato salad, won't be getting that anymore. Yams, mac & cheese and cabbage was good. Yellow rice is nothing special. It tastes like Goya yellow rice. I don't eat cornbread but theirs was AMAZING. Overall it was good.“
“The food was off the wall, it was amazing. We got there maybe a hour and a half before closing time and the owner and his kids gave us free food. The service is amazing every one is very upbeat and social they cater to your needs. I had the brown sugar salmon it’s the best salmon I ever had in my “
“Went here for the first time today and everything was delicious!!! The customer service was awesome and they give you a nice portion!!! Hubby said the yams were the best he’s ever had, and my favorite were the Lima beans!! The smothered chicken wings were delicious and we both loved the rice and gravy too!!!“
“I love this place so much. Me and my Yoruba husband just got married last year and we couldn’t find a Nigerian place to eat. We found this gem of a place and we are so blessed. I am trying to learn Yoruba and she even offered to teach me. So sweet.“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants, bar none! The service is good, the ambiance is what one would expect with constant music playing 60s thru 80s Soul, mainly) and the food is out of this world! The fried chicken and fried turkey wings are as good as it gets! I can eat here every day!“
“Came in for a smooth pickup in the time I was told my food would be ready! Ordered the whiting with the two sides and it was the best I’ve had, cooked and seasoned perfectly! Thanks Monai’s… Nate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Parking: Parking lot has plenty of space on Sunday!“
“OMG! I don't even know where to start. I've this restaurant on my list for a few weeks now. I left work from New Jersey and found lots of parking spots. When I walked in I felt like I went to visit my Aunty. Shawnea opened the door and welcomed in. It's a small cozy restaurant, the place doesn't smell like food it smells like eucalyptus candles and the food OMG! This is the best soul food I've ever had. I got Mac and cheese, collard greens, candy yams, oxtail, sauteed shrimps, and the strawberry corn bread. I'm in heaven!!!! I'll definitely be back.“
