Welp, I pretty much can't have your standard cod fish and chips anymore. The Haddock fish and chips are really really good. Really flaky and fluffy or whatever with the right amount of crunch in the breading. You can't go wrong if you like F&C. Good beer selection.
Went in for lunch today, not a lot of people there and still the food took almost 45 minuets to get to the table. It absolutely wasn’t the servers fault, he was extremely attentive to our table, and we could tell he was getting frustrated with the kitchen. When the food came out my sandwich was decent, slightly overcooked, but the sweet potato fries had were burnt to a crisp. I ate them because I was starving, but I make better ones from a freezer bag. Nice atmosphere, average food. Granted the restaurant was busy but it seemed as though (at least initially) we waited longer for each contact with the host and server than the tables around us. I would go back but this experience was less than excellent.
