“I ordered lunch to pick up from here recently and really enjoyed it. The guy working there was very friendly and personable. He waited till I arrived to heat it up so it could be hot and fresh. It only took a few minutes and it was packed nicely. I got the roasted eggplant focaccia sandwich, porcini mushroom risotto ball, and a pesto mozzarella risotto ball. Everything tasted great, especially the risotto balls. The prices are decent and I appreciated there were lots of vegetarian options. They also have coffee and pastries, including some tasty sfogliatelle. When I come back, it’ll be because of the food and the friendly vibes.“
“Some of the absolute best food I've ever had. Fusilli bolognese and spicy rigatoni w/ shrimp are dynamite. Their newly renovated speakeasy is wonderful; they offer their full dinner menu either at the bar or at one of their comfy and intimate tables. The bartenders know what they're doing; their cocktails are delicious! Saturday nights they have a DJ that goes on at 10pm and really gets the crowd going. Highly recommended. Immediately, the bartender, Steven/Stephen, starts telling us about the place and it’s rich history. He was so kind and helpful the whole night. He made sure he connected with us for a great experience.We ordered espresso martinis, because obviously. They were INCREDIBLE. You can get it with or without Baileys which was nice. We even got decaf espresso. The level of sweetness was just right. The foam was foaming. They were truly a treat. 10/10. I also ordered a Tiramisu martini which came with a lady finger on top. The sauce was smooth and creamy. The tomatoes really came through. I wish the Calabrian chilis poked through a little more for more of a spice. However, the flavors were still balanced. 9/10.The vibes were immaculate! We got there about 7. A DJ started playing music around 9:30. It turned into a club vibe which was shocking. The music was blaring so it did become hard to hear each other. The music was still good though.They do have HH Monday - Friday which seems like really great deals on drinks/food.I would 100000000% come back here and recommend it to anyone. “My husband and I went to burrata for dinner today. It was a Saturday so we did have to wait around 50 minutes, so I would suggest making a reservation online if possible. We grabbed a drink at the bar next door while we waited. I really liked a the ambiance of the place- modern yet homey feel. Service was excellent, food came in a timely manner. We ordered the Araninci which was delicious, the burrata - yum. For mains we ordered the pappardelle which was really good, and the mushroom jalapeño pizza which we also enjoyed. For dessert we had the tiramisu which from a distance I thought looked like a store bought tiramisu because they wrap it in one of those plastic pieces to keep it together, but once the waiter opened it up all of the cream at the top fell to the sides like lava! It was really good- coming from someone who is very picky about tiramisu! Drinks- I had an espresso martini (no baileys) which was also good Definitely will be coming back here- with a reservation next time!“

The fresh pasta with seasonal preparations are always divine and not your classic Italian dishes (e.g. gnocci with the lamb neck meat this spring, and wild boar in the winter), the wine on point, and the service warm and authentic. The atmosphere is elevated bistro, so it works for date night or dinner with friends but the food is significantly better than any other local restaurant. The chef didn't earn a Michelin bib for nothing.“

We started with Clams Casino and Clams Oreganato. They both were absolutely, fresh, tasty and we loved them both. I had the capellini with crabmeat and shrimp and I was so pleased with the taste of the creamy tomatoe sauce and the sweetness of the crab meat and delicate flavor of the shrimp. This pasta dish was superb. My husband ordered the Seafood Pescatore with linguine. He was enjoying the dish and all the seafood ; mussels, clams, calamari and shrimp were all tender, fresh and delicious. We ordered the creme brulee with blackberries and dragonfruit. What a wonderful burst of texture, creaminess and crunch of glazed sugar browned to perfection. We have found our Italian Cucina that will be our "go to" in Yonkers. Tutti a mangiare a tavola.“

The service is friendlier than you normally would expect at a place like this, and they even packed up the leftovers for us. That's always a plus in terms of service. I had the fettuccine carbonara, which was certainly above average in quality. I find that carbonara is a difficult and unusual dish to make, so it's a good way to test an Italian restaurant. This place certainly passed the carbonara test. The portion size was absolutely enormous! It was better than the carbonara I had at a certain Michelin-starred restaurant in New Rochelle! I also had the opportunity to taste the fagioli soup, spinach pizza, and eggplant pizza. Everything was delicious. All of this, and the bill was under $50, with the tip included. Can't beat that.“
