“We came for the fish fry. The server was friendly, attentive, and willing to take time to tell us about the history of the place.The fish was cod, not haddock. It was tender and spot on flakey. That itself was a very pleasant change from a lot of other places.We will be back soon.“
“The place has lots of cool Buffalo sports memorabilia. Lots of pic and jerseys lining the walls. Our server was so friendly and sweet. We split a few things since it was out 1st time here. Everything was served piping hot. The pickle chips were crispy and crunchy, with a nice dipping sauce, a little spicy but all tasty. The fries were cooked the way fries should be. Crispy outside, mashed potato like inside. The gravy served on the side was not very good. It was clumpy and not very tasty. The pulled pork(recommended by our fabulous server) was delicious, but I bit into a bone that damn near knocked my crown off. The server was very apologetic, and they even removed the sandwich from the check. (kind gesture that not a lot of places would do) The roast beef was good, but it was a bit overcooked for my taste. We really liked the atmosphere and the service, so we'll definitely return. You can't be perfect every day.“
“This bar was started by my Great Grandfather, his picture may still be hanging in the back. I’ve been there twice in the past decade and was for/after the death of my Grandfather Kenneth Hartel Sr, and Kenneth Hartel Jr his son whom died only months later. I came in and was like a family I’ve never met. They took care of my family and I. I hope to take my daughter up there soon.“
“This dive bar was very friendly. The bartender was complete nice and warm welcoming, she recommended the green tea shot. Very delicious!!! My go to drink is a dirty sherly and this place is the only place who had it made correctly. Loved it. It is cash only but definitely keep your eye out on this little place for live music. Come on down to support the local bands as well. Five stars on my first expression.? ?“

“The wings here are great. Perfectly cooked and soooo many styles to chose from. Great service from the bartender and everything from the table to the bathrooms were spotless. Beers ranged from your standard macrobrews to some craft (Hayburner, Jai Lai). Will happily return.“
“My personal go to dive bar. I feel safe at the dome, which is important to me. The bouncers are genuine, the bartenders ??and fun vibe. It’s worth a drink or two on a Friday night.The bar was remodeled and I just saw it for the first time a couple months ago.The new owners brought they’re “A” game, with the new bar. I am very proud of my local dive bar, and after 10 years of fun, I’m hoping they aren’t sick of me. ?As far as the big dill??? There isn’t one. Every time I go I am denied a pickle. Whyyy??? “The steak special was a grade 9 wagyu steak which is comparable to A5 Japanese wagyu and it definitely lived up to its name. It was very delicious insanely tender melt In your mouth steak with mushrooms and truffles grated on top. The waiter knew an enormous amount of information about the food on the menu and was able to answer all questions we had. I personally recommend you come here and let the chef work his magic it was an amazing meal. I will definitely be coming back here again.“
