“My phone wouldn't let.me scan the bar code to complete the survey yesterday but a review is definitely necessary. First time at.the Troy location. I had honey bbq wings for an appetizer. Great stuff. And for an entree was ribs, brisket with sides of chili and salad. A came.with cornbread Everything was spectacular, one of the.best meals I have had. Bacon in the chili and the house dressing being bbq ranch were nice touches. My server Alison deserves a lot of credit too. Pleasant person, hard working, and made great suggestions when I asked. Alison and the food made this a great experience. Highly recommended and I will be back.”

“We recently celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary, which was a good choice. We found the staff to be polite and friendly from when we entered until we left two hours later. The environment was pleasant and easy with a touch of class. The half-chicken "Picata" ordered was "mm-hmm good" served with an exquisitely savory sauce, prepared by Chef Jake, who is a rising star and a compliment to Troy's fine dining experience. My wife and I also appreciated and thought it "cool" that the owner "Vic" took the time to talk with us. Enjoyable evening and location!!!”

“Parking is usually easy to find on the street when I stop here. The bar has a clean and inviting atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The cocktails are always good. I love that they have one or two hard ciders on tap. There are plenty of beers on tap to choose from.
The bar food is always spot on. Fresh and tasty. Plus I enjoy the rotating seasonal food offerings.
There are games upstairs to explore.
In cooperating weather the patio is nice to take advantage of.
I enjoy meeting my friends here for some good laughs, drinks and food.”

“My husband and I got married at Lucas. We had the time of our lives and can’t believe how amazing the day went. From first tour and booking to packing everything up and leaving, Maeve was absolutely phenomenal to work with. She was smart, easy to work with, responsive, attentive, understanding, and just a calm and collected figure the day of the wedding. We rented all of Lucas and the Garden for our wedding. We did brunch so there was a lot of logistics I was quite worried about since the timeline in the morning was so tight to do an 11am ceremony.

Everything went off without a hitch, we had to delay the start time by 5 additional minutes and that was no problem for them! The venue was decorated beautifully. The front lounge is so sunny in the morning and the space felt so warm and welcoming when people first came in. It was raining on our wedding (good luck for us!) so it was so nice having people walk into this beautiful cozy space. The garden is picture perfect. It felt like a dream. It is not a big space so the space would not work for a larger wedding. The garden is where both our ceremony and our reception took place. The staff flipped the space during cocktail hour (by the bar and front area). When they flipped the space, they made sure to include the specials I requested like putting the centerpieces, program, and name plates out. Maeve even realized I forgot table numbers and quickly went in the back and made some for my 5 tables so guests knew where they were going.

We had a few extras that were around the venue in lieu of dancing and all the little nooks and crannies helped fill the space. For events, they have the buffet on the back wall which was perfect and out of the way. The bar was always packed, and everyone said the bartenders were friendly and fast—just what you want at a wedding. I literally had no complaints from any of my guests and everyone raved about the spot. Most of the guests had never been there and couldn’t believe how different and unique Lucas was from traditional event spaces.
The venue was able to play my playlist over their Bluetooth speakers, Maeve helped control the music for us walking down the aisle and the recessional. The venue was so prepared, it was obvious that they had done several events and are true event professionals. They even let us bring everything the night before and put our flowers in cold storage for us overnight to keep them fresh. We had a few large and bulky items and I had lots of bins. I was worried they weren’t going to have the room to store stuff overnight but Maeve took everything to the back and told me that it wouldn’t be a problem which was a huge relief. I created my own flower centerpieces and was really worried that they would die from Friday to Saturday if they weren’t put somewhere safe. My last rave will be about how unlike traditional wedding venues, Lucas doesn’t nickel and dime you. There were no stupid BS fees like napkin overuse fee, coffee creamer fee, set up fee, Bluetooth speaker fee, etc. The contract stated everything and that is what we were charged which is amazing because most venue I feel look at weddings like a cash grab and Lucas didn’t do that.

Only small con is that one of my guests said the roof in the garden was leaking in one small spot so I would recommend that someone looks at the roof ASAP before we start getting summer thunderstorms.”

“Sat at the bar and was served by Vinnie. Vinnie was super nice and we had great conversations. Gabriella was also very smiley and friendly (she drinks a lot of water lol [inside joke]). I ordered the veal cordon bleu and my adult son had the lasagna. I’ve been to Italy and this meal was just as good, if not better, than some of the food I ate in Rome, Gaeta or Naples. The food was nice and hot, the bread was perfect and the everything was tasty. Great job we will definitely be back!”

“Despite it being a Friday night and crowded, the service was fast. Especially Maher, who served, was attentive and friendly. The place was clean, the atmosphere was stylish, the food was fresh and delicious. We tasted a lot of food as a group. Everyone was very pleased with their food. My favorites were the meat pide and crispy mixed fruit waffle. I strongly recommend it.

“I usually get the cauli powder pizza when I go to Organa. I am no vegan, but the pizza has a great taste and wonderful crunch. This day I wanted to try the Chic'n sandwich, so my husband and I brought 2 different sandwiches. He had cheddar on his sandwich, and I had some sort of spicy sweet sauce on my sandwich. I bit my sandwich, it was so good, I had to park to finish it. However, when I pulled over my sandwich fell on the floor in the backseat. You want to talk about someone being very upset. Mine you my husband is happily eating his. Later on, that day I went to Wendy's and bought a chicken sandwich. One bite and I knew Organa had ruined chicken sandwiches. Organa Chic'n Sandwich is better than Wendys, McDonalds, Burger King, KFC. I have not bought a sandwich from Popeyes since I've eaten at Organa”

It was our first time there so we didn’t have any expectations. The food upon bringing it home was packaged very neatly and was still hot! Everything was delicious! chicken and steak combos were cooked how we asked; mild, but nice flavor and not dry. My son got shrimp combo and that was good too. I love love love that the veggies were soft and flavorful. Noodles and rice were also very good. We didn’t get the two shrimp appetizer, but that’s ok. Portion sizes were good, ate the whole meal in one sitting because it was that good. Prices are a little bit up there, but fair for hibachi in my opinion. Definitely will be repeat customers, hopefully it stays just as good!”

“We went by to get a takeaway. It was quite cold outside, but the owner was very kind and offered us to wait inside and even brought us tea to warm us up while we waited. He was very considerate of our needs.
The food was good and portion sizes were large. Plenty of rice with the dishes as well. The spice level was good, a little zing to it without blowing your head off. I would get it again!”

“I went there tonight for the first time...ordered my pizza in house, waited the stated time, went back in, paid and enjoyed it out in the car..the establishment has a spacious lot for customers...had heard of Dante's pizzas awhile back...decided to finally take a drive out (I live about 40 minutes from there)... I must say, I was impressed. in particular, was the freshness of what I was eating [8 cut pepperoni, mushroom and hot peppers)..the sauce was balanced and on point. the peppers were in two rich varieties, appeared to be freshly sliced, and pepperoni was a tasty, mild Margherita style that was generously offered. I've had pizza from a good number of well-respected pizza places in the capital region- and this pizza had had a very nice composition and the crust was nearly perfect in every way.. It had the proper donenese, the nice receding gumline that floated away to Fluffy, pillow like outer crust. The crust had a good crisp to it but not overly done...just overall great balance with finer ingredients for sure...I will definitely go back again. I would say that this pizza can compete with some of the most popular pizzeria's in the Tri -city area. I really believe that!!.. it was really good... in my opinion.”

A special shout-out to Princess (I believe she’s the owner), who, along with the entire staff, was incredibly kind and welcoming. I also really appreciated the wide range of options available for different dietary needs and preferences. We got there near the end of the serving hours, and they still had food available which was awesome. As an added bonus, we even received a free gift (an AHA cleanser), which was such a sweet touch! We didn't walk the grounds due to the rain, but the view from the restaurant was nice.
