“By far, one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in NY. I stopped by to grab a drink before meeting a friend. Super cute speak easy vibe. Small. Intimate. The cocktails were amazing! Mine were crafted by a gentleman with braids and when I tell you his story telling made the cocktail experience just that, an experience. Top two, Ma Mandelbaum & Queen of the Desert. A yes for me. I’ll be back✨“
“This restaurant beat every expectation. Honestly, I am not a huge fan of Mexican cuisine Margaritas withstanding.La Casa completely has turned me into a fan.We traveled from Manhattan to dine with friends. It will now make the trip just for La Casa.“
“Love! Love! Love! I come atleast once a week for the last 2 years! it’s a friendly environment and the fooood is everything. Yonkers finest margaritas for sure I highly recommend ask for pavel she’s definitely the best bartender!!!! ???“
“AMAZING EXPERIENCEThe hostess and manager were kind enough to seat us despite a late arrival a few minutes after the kitchen was scheduled to close. This superior hospitality was our theme throughout the evening. The server ANFERNEE was prompt, professional, and polite while attending all of our needs. TEXAS-sized portions reminded us back home. Delicious food, tasty cocktails, and wonderful music made this a night to remember.Vegetarian options: The jerk cauliflower was spicy and delicious. The asparagus was roasted to perfection. The mashed potatoes were buttery, creamy goodness.“
“Such a beautiful space, delicious tapas, warm staff, great wine selection, clean and the prices a great! Great space fir meetings, lunch, dinner, … Did I mention they have a nice Happy Hour!? Yes they do! I have recommended it and will definitely revisit“
“Stay Away!!! Just kidding, this spot is popular and rightfully so for all the right reasons. The atmosphere is bot chill and warm for lounge lizards wanting a great watering hole. The drinks are fantastic, The Monk Fashioned being my favorite, reminds me of a magical Sazerac. The food here is delicious too, been a couple times and look forward to returning again soon. Love the Sweet And Salty Grilly with Gruyère, Prosciutto, Fig Spread, Arugula on Sour Dough. The Fonduey Mac & Cheese is also a cooze fest of cheesy goodness, also the Whipped Feta with the Everything Bagel Pretzel. Always love to get the Crab Cakes. Though I’m eyeing the Skewered Thighs for next time they look like a divine dine. Fortunately we’ve gotten in without a reservation, though I’m sure it’s good to have one.“
“Just checked this place out for brunch and The service was amazing Kenisha our waitress was amazing super personality. The food was great shrimp tacos were amazing the owner is also very personable. The hospitality feels like your home with your family the rum punch was superb just like back in Jamaica very fresh overall great first time experience if your thinking of checking it out don’t think twice Go!“
“Consistently amazing food and service! Always a wonderful meal and fun experience. Tables are close together, but everyone is so friendly, that adds to the fun vibe. This continues to be our favorite restaurant. Menu is creative and outstanding!“
“Visited family and had a quick bite before my flight back home. Large portions - flavorful food. Open yet cozy atmosphere with really cute details and decor. Unlimited mimosas or Bloody Mary for $20 offered. Full menu sounded delicious. Attentive and accommodating wait staff. I’d recommend ?“
“A different venture from your regular Dykman experience. It is an intimate, sophisticated culinary experience inspired by owner Felix Abarca's birthplace Ecuador. Fusing rich flavors found in Ecuadorian cuisine with its food and beverage program they offer an experience in the shape of a glass or plate.Staff is always inviting and on point. Place is always immaculate and organized. Live music on the weekends by local artist or even the bartender "extrangero music" is always of great taste and not too loud.Pop-up and collaborations with chefs or bartenders happen regularly. The amazing wine list is unique and curated by a great connoisseur and wine enthusiast, the owner Felix. The coziness of this place is what makes it even more special.“
“Tucked away out of plain view, the charming interior and beyond exceptional cuisine make this place a 10/10. ROKC exhibits true craft and ownership of the dishes and drinks they put forth and you can tell they love what they do. Their cocktail menu is true artistry, an experience within itself.“
“Celebrated my grandmother’s 80th birthday at Casa Tuya and had a wonderful time. The ambiance, food and service was absolutely amazing. Our server Julia was attentive and made sure my family and my grandmother had a good time. It’s a must go no matter the age. Thank you Casa Tuya. We will be going back soon.“
“All I can say is this was an excellent experience, A nice interactive experience in Nyack, if you are looking for something to do besides eating at a Restaurant. Naomi is an excellent instructor and Mr. T has fantastic recommendations for drinks. The bar is fully stocked with a variety of choices. The music was pleasant and the atmosphere was soothing. Great place for a date night, or an evening with the girls.“
“I brought my daughter for dinner this past Thursday night. I didn't know there was live music. I was a little worried at first that my daughter would find the music too loud but she loved it! The honey truffle Brussel sprouts were so delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again. We also had the risotto funghi and banana bread pudding....both also very tasty. I also tried the happy jalapeño drink...so delicious and not sweet. Overall a wonderful night out!“
“Stopped here for a quick bite. The mussels fra Diavlo were excellent. The sauce hit all the right notes, I finished every bit of it. Just perfect! The menu is rather small, but it was my understanding, that you can ask for different dishes, and they might be able to cook them for you.Great place, will come again if in the area.Parking: It's hard to find a parking in the area, but if you go a couple of blocks from Arthur Avenue, it gets better.“
“I learned this restaurant will be in business 45 years this year! The owner and his daughter knew just about everyone that came in the door. We sat at the bar, we ate and drank there. The bartender was great. He was so busy but was very good at his job. We never felt neglected. The food was delicious!“
“Me and my BFF went last night for my half birthday and did HH and made a meal of a bunch of appetizers. It was a Tuesday night so it was pretty quiet, but the bartender was super friendly and made great drinks! Everything we ate was amazing! Looking forward to going back and trying some entrees.“
“I was there for brunch and my experience was amazing. The food is more than 5 stars and the service as well. This restaurant is in the bronx and it matches any restaurant in manhattan, Paris , or London. Great restaurant!! Thank you Tobala team.“
“What a blast! The food, the atmosphere, the service and wow the drinks! We were killing time to head back home and met up with family that were already there. The fried shrimp dumplings was so good! And the wings!? Wow! The drinks by far were the highlight of the night. Were definitely going back with some time to chill.“
“My daughters and I have found our favorite sushi spot. We absolutely love it! The atmosphere is low-key and has an amazing vibe. The music sets a great tone, making the overall atmosphere just perfect. Even though I highly recommend this place, I hesitate to do so because I want to keep it as our little secret. I don't want it to become overcrowded. I know it might sound shady, but this sushi spot serves the best sushi I have ever tasted, and my daughters feel the same way.“
“This is one of those special brunch spots in Washington Heights we absolutely love. Our team, along with some of my friends and I, have gone here so many times, and we're always so obsessed with the food that I forgot pictures. They always have amazing pizza. Today my friend I went for brunch and it was everything. I think they make the nest pancakes in NYC. If you come here and don't try the pancake, you're missing out. It's delicious. Buttery, crunchy on the outside but soft in the inside. Everyone loves it here. The lentil soup with a side of sourdough bread was perfect, hearty, and fulfilling. The kale salad is my favorite salad. It's delicious. My friend loved her avocado toast with eggs on top. They also made the best cappuccino and Chai lattes. This is a must if you're in the heights from brunch.“
“We had a delightful Italian dinner experience at this charming spot featuring a lovely bar and pizza oven. We went on a Tuesday to enjoy jazz being performed by a friend and was thoroughly impressed by the food. The outdoor seating adds to the cozy ambiance, especially at night. The standout dish of the evening was the caponatta – truly exceptional with its layers of flavor and accompanied by delicious polenta crisp at thw bottom. I regretted sharing it, as it was so good. The pappardelle with short rib ragu was also a solid choice, and the Bari pizza was great. For dessert, the tiramisu struck the perfect balance of sweetness, though my friend couldn't resist eating most of it before I could join in. We paired our meal with a bottle of Toscanna Rosso 2019, priced at $48, which complemented our dishes perfectly. We got five glasses from itThe staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I'm already looking forward to returning .“
“What a marvelous restaurant Chef Vittorio has created in Sparkhill !!!As you walk in , you know you’re in for an old school experience infused with Vittorio’s talent!!Very attentive , knowledgeable and friendly service.Thin layered eggplant, Millefoglie Di Melanzane Alla Mamma Carolina ( his mother’s recipe), Polipo as tender as can be and a Carpaccio Di Manzo were some of the appetizers we had that were outstanding, followed by some amazing pasta and finished with Tonno Alla Putanesca that was OFF THE CHARTS and a perfectly done Berkshire Tomahawk Pork Chop!!Maestro, thank you for a wonderful experience!!“
“The food and drinks here were amazing. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, and the drinks were tasty and strong. This restaurant is good for families and people of all ages. It has a chill vibe and it's a place where you can have a conversation with the others in your party. No loud music, no DJ for brunch if that's the vibe you are looking for. I typically like "party" style brunches, but this was a nice change and the food was absolutely worth it. I will definitely be returning!Dietary restrictions: No dairy free desserts available.Kid-friendliness: Good place to bring kids.“
“Always have such a good experience when I dine here. The food is incredible. Drinks are tasty and fun. The staff is always so welcoming and lovely. Definitely recommend for a date night or a night out with friends! Oh and the churros are out of this world!“
“Very cute place that I randomly stumbled upon while in little Italy, Arthur Avenue searching for somewhere to have lunch. They served Authentic Mexican juices like horchatas and Jamaica. As well as different Mexican dishes and ramen. The server who was also the owners son was really nice. I enjoyed the food. The place was very vibrant and welcoming.“
“I live in the neighborhood and all the restaurants in this street have loud music during the week which imposes a lack of conversation and chilling out when you’re having a drink or an appetizer and a restaurant and restaurants now unfortunately have loud music and it makes you feel stressed and uncomfortable not being able to enjoy yourself having a drink and listening to your thoughts. So I’ve discovered this is a place if you want to chill out atmosphere with great drinks, a great bartender and the music is out of lab where you can actually have a conversation not only with the service staff but with other people next year, so I recommend it’s not only for happy hour during the week and such.“
“Food was good. The service was not. Our waitress did not smile much. She was playing with her cell phone when I approached to the service desk with computer and other billing stuff. She name starts with a C.I observed how she treated other customers, she was not warm nor smile either. I told myself, it was not me.“
“I’ve been going to Made in Puerto Rico since 2018, and it's hands down one of my favorite Puerto Rican restaurants in New York.As a Puerto Rican myself, stepping into this establishment feels like coming home—the atmosphere, service, and food are simply unparalleled. The addition of great music completes the experience. Saturday, have a great brunch with a live band. Kudos to Freeze for the consistently top-notch hospitality that makes every visit memorable. Highly recommend this gem ❤️??“
“I have been coming here for years and in short: I highly recommend it. Not just for wine but for the delicious food, ambiance and the staff is great too. Every time we come here we have a wonderful time, they have literally always brought their A game. I love everything about this restaurant and this review is long overdue. Now the long story:The location is great. Hastings is a 15 minute drive from the city but makes you feel like you're a whole world away. Boro6 is within walking distance of several unique small businesses including a vinyl shop and boutiques. Everything is centrally located on Warburton ave or on Main Street where you can find plentiful parking. The area is a hidden gem and makes you feel like you're actually in a small town as opposed to minutes from NYC. It's perfect for scenic views of the Hudson, an afternoon stroll, then dinner and a glass of wine at Boro6.Now more about the wine bar... it is so nice to see the attention to detail and how much they genuinely care about the dining experience. Everything is hand crafted. The menu has so many options and they add new items often with well thought out pairings making each visit unique. The food is always delicious.THE WINE! In the last year or so they have released their own house blend which we were very excited to try. Needless to say it did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious yet still gives the cozy vibes you desire from a wine bar. The staff is so nice, its evident that the owner really cares as you can tell a lot by the way the staff interacts not just with clients but with each other. When I come back I promise to add pictures to my review but after having yet another wonderful experience here I just needed to take a moment out and give them the kudos they deserve. We will definitely be back soon!Vegetarian options: Plenty of options and the staff/ kitchen are very accessible.Dietary restrictions: Chef and staff are extremely accommodating.“
“This place surprised me brunch is a must here great music live dj great vibes awesome staff good drinks well priced brunch menu and drinks overall this place is solidVegetarian options: Definitely will be happy hereDietary restrictions: Yes they walk you through it all again manager and staff amazingParking: Parking is kind of hard but not really depending on the time for brunch street parking is definitely available in the area and Sundays meters are freeKid-friendliness: Yes and again the staff and management will make them and you feel at homeWheelchair accessibility: Yeah it’s wheelchair accessible and the staff is amazing“
“Early holiday dinner. We started with a bottle of the Super Tuscan Red Blend. Reasonably priced for a restaurant and delicious. For the appetizers we chose the Caprese Tower and the Calamari (we thought it was fried - instead it was grilled in the sauce). Still a satisfying dish. For dinners we had the Frutta di Mare - one over linguini, the other over the squid ink linguini. We were somewhat disappointed with the pasta being overcooked - this is home made pasta after all. (That explains the four stars.) The third main was the Chicken Scarpariello over penne. No complaints there. All dishes were flavorful and generously portioned. We had leftovers to take home. We finished with coffees and shared the Brownie Ala Mode special. Delicious! Divino's coninues to be an excellent dining spot with the helpful, friendly and cordial staff, pleasant ambiance and delicious food. We will definitely be returning soon.“
“Some of the absolute best food I've ever had. Fusilli bolognese and spicy rigatoni w/ shrimp are dynamite. Their newly renovated speakeasy is wonderful; they offer their full dinner menu either at the bar or at one of their comfy and intimate tables. The bartenders know what they're doing; their cocktails are delicious! Saturday nights they have a DJ that goes on at 10pm and really gets the crowd going. Highly recommended. Reservations are a must on Friday and Saturday for dinner.“
“Amazing! This cheerful Italian eatery was a culinary marvel from start to finish. We started with the fried artichokes and the brussel sprouts appetizers. Someone had to pinch me 'cause I thought I was back in Italy. Not only were the appetizers splendid, but the portions were large and could easily be shared. I had the sliced ribeye for my main. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly; was reminiscent of a high end steak house. I topped off the meal with the strawberry italian donut for dessert. It was a unique and enjoyable mouth watering experience. Service was excellent. They don't rush you, so you can really savor this culinary experience. Bon appetit!“
“Love the updates that UL made to this space! Light and bright w new skylights. My favorite local chef, Jody Hunter, is at the helm making her signature delicious dishes. The Whipped Ricotta with Toasted Spice Oil, Pickled Onions, housemade Focaccia make me feel I am in Italy ❤️“
“No question, THE FINEST RESTAURANT in Westchester County, NY. Look you out to eat for a good meal and to be pampered with service. Micheline has the best food north of the City. Period, end of story. From the burger to the fish to the meat, the food is delicious. Always paired with the perfect wine. I'm a beaujolais guy but their selection is vast. My new favorite dish on the menu is the duck and the puree that comes with it. As an appetizer, I love their soups.“
“Found this place on a whim while waiting for Movies with Lin Manuel Miranda at United Palace. Pleasantly surprised by the delicious tapas- garlic shrimp, goat stuffed peppers, sangria and little seafood burrito- and service. Will be back for more!“
“As a Venezuelan-American, this place does me so proud! I just noticed this little gem during Hispanic Heritage month since they had balloons outside, and I don't know how I missed it before! I called my family immediately and that same week we made dinner reservations. The tequenos, arepas and cachapas are SO good and very authentic. I am so happy to have a little piece of my heart on Mamaroneck Ave, my hometown - FINALLY! The owners and staff are so lovely, they made us feel like family.I will be raving about this place to my family & friends until this place gets as busy as it deserves! Will be returning soon. Thank you, Marianna!Vegetarian options: Arepas with avocado, pico, cheese, beans and more!Dietary restrictions: All arepas are gluten free!“
“A Delightful Italian ExperienceI recently dined at Granita Cucina & Bar and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was charming. I highly recommend it for an authentic taste of Italy. Can't wait to go back!“
“Had such a lovely dinner at Emilio’s! We’ve ordered takeout before (and it’s great), but it was our first time dining in.Antipasti and salumi are fresh, and we loved the steak frites. Servers are great. But best of all is Sergio, who’s a hoot and shared the best stories. Can’t wait to go back.“
“This is a joint review between a native New Yorker (Abi) and an unknowing mixed Latino (Xavier). Both of us work either behind a bar or at a restaurant— we could not be more unanimous in our verdict that Cocteleria Perla Negra is one of the best cocktail bars in New York. Bonus points to the “Curry Island” and “Guanabana and Soda,” two of the best drinks that have ever crossed our lips. Bonus bonus points for the fries, which kept us from spending our life savings at this lovely establishment. We’ll be back.“
“It is with great enthusiasm that I express my unequivocal satisfaction with the dining experience at VEGA Mexican Cuisine. The establishment exuded an unparalleled atmosphere that seamlessly combined warmth, authenticity, and a palpable cultural resonance. The gastronomic highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the birria tacos, an exquisite manifestation of culinary artistry. The meticulous preparation and blending of flavors in the birria achieved a harmonious symphony on the palate. Each bite unfolded a rich tapestry of savory nuances, complemented by the tender succulence of the meat, leaving an indelible mark of gastronomic delight. Moreover, the attention to detail in the presentation and service added a layer of sophistication to the overall dining experience. With a welcoming atmosphere and a menu that accommodates young taste buds, the establishment ensures a pleasant dining experience for both parents and children alike.“
“Great food, wonderful server ( Susie) but over the top noise level. At a table for 4, I could only talk to person next to me by leaning in. Don't see any way to change that, so we'll return when outdoor seating becomes available again.“
“The food was good and the service was amazing. The menu isn't completely authentic but delicious. The young lady was very attentive, charismatic, and helpful. The place has a modernized look and needs just a little more feel of Colombia, but the music made up for it.“
“01.25.24 This is the hottest bar that I've been to this year. I haven't been uptown socially for a number of years. Coincidentally, I met someone that lived in the area. We hit a speakeasy first, then a restaurant and stopped at Uptown Bourbon for a nightcap. When I walked in, I almost lost my mind. The vibe was sooo strong in this space. The bronze tin roof, the mood lighting and the Technics turntable at the end of the bar with a collection of vintage classics swept me off my feet!!! Can this date get any better?! I was already in 7th heaven, this date could not be defeated!!! I do not remember the names of the bartenders (barhopping has that affect on me) one was a guy with short black hair and the woman had dirty blond hair below her shoulders. Both bartenders were chill and very knowledgeable. The next time that I return, I will try to hit UPTOWN first. I'm determined to vibe with the bartenders. SP“
“I had a very pleasant experience at Corner Social, the music was amazing, not too loud, I was able to have conversations with my friends without shouting. For appetizer, I had the chicken spring rolls, very interesting taste and different but very delicious, would order a second time. For Entries, I ordered the salmon with mash potatoes. The meal was delicious, well seasoned, interms of appearance, compared to others my plate was very colorless, I think I ate maybe 3 small cherry tomatoes and 2 broccoli lol the portion size very small but it was very delicious. If you skipped lunch and you're hungry, dont order but want something not hearty, then order. Overall, my experience was great. Would definitely visit to try the rest of the menu“
“Good place for "bar pizza". Tasty dough and great wood fired flavor. Burger and fries very good also. Menu tries to be a little fancy and should stick more to what makes the place special- burgers- pizza- onion soup - etc. Good atmosphere with comfortable seating and cozy bar feel. Bartenders personable and serve good drinks (nice pours).“
“Came back a week later to bring my husband he was super impressed. He's a hard one to please as he is really picky about his chicken parm, but he did LOVE it! I already was blown away by the food, and we haven't even had dessert yet. Ready to come back for more!“
“This small tucked away location seems to be a big date night spot, or let me say first date night spot. I came to meet a friend here and was pretty amazed at how many ppl seemed to be on dates. The ambiance is very cool you would never expect this inside of an old train station. Food menu is limited for more of snacks which I think is perfect for this size place. Drinks were flowing and service was attentive and had recommendations if you need it.“
“Very cute neighborhood. This cozy restaurant feels like you're in Mexico. Loved the wall paintings. The service was out of this world. These beautiful cocktails have to be made by a professional mixologist! I would just go there to taste all the delicious cocktails on the menu. I really loved this authentic Mexican food. The Queso Fundido, Chihuahua queso with chorizo was yummy. My favorite was the Tamales with shredded chicken. These were probably the best Tamales I've ever tried. Even just the Guacamole and Chips were excellent. The Steak Fajitas were also delicious. Must try!“
