It had been recommended to me by a couple of friends as a really unique, quality twist to the Mexican dining genre and were they ever correct. Started with the warm and friendly greeting and spacious well decored bar and dining areas. Once seated and presented with the menu - I was pleasantly suprised with the cool spin on some of the more traditional Mexican menu items (ex. Oyster soft tacos to die for - and I don't even like oysters but these were out of this world). The quality of the ingredients and food items are clearly a top priority for the management and the chef. The owner Spencer Pingle is very present and you feel it. He explained that the chips, guac and many other main items are freshly made in house daily - any wow the flavors pop!!! I can go on for quite a bit about this Westchester GEM but I will simply recommend that you go for this experience and see for yourself. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. “Arriving at 6:00 on a Saturday evening without reservations, my companion and I were delighted to be seated at a small booth in the bar area. Great seating, as it was comfortable and felt private. We each enjoyed a special cocktail, and appetizers of delicious cauliflower and truffle pizza and popcorn shrimp (complete with tiny crumbles of popcorn!) We then really enjoyed the chicken pot pie and cucumber and broccoli entre salad. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Very fine experience. “We absolutely love Jean-Jacques Culinary Creations in Pleasantville! We try to stop in at least once a week even though it is not near our home. Cris, Lauren and Jack are so very sweet and always welcoming. The food at the grill is delicious and meticulously prepared by Wilder. The environment is warm and inviting but it is truly the caring team and quality of the food that make this place so special. It feels as if everything is prepared and presented with such care and never has anything we've tried been less than excellent. The bakery selection is outstanding. Not only does everything look like a work of art but it is delicious. In my opinion, it is rare to find that combination. Whoever is working behind the scenes there is definitely a talented culinary trained chef and baker.“

“I went here with my 2 uncles and my cousin, the food was so good. When we sat down, they just kept on coming with more and more eat. They gave me 5 different types of meat and they still gad many other meats in store. This is all you can eat, so it is 30$ for kids under 13 and above 13 it is 60$, but the food is so good that the price doesn't matter to me.“

I certainly would recommend the dish for those who liked it here too Lenten obligations. My better half had the stuff so with crab meat, shrimp, etc., she always tells me how wonderful it is and there is always enough for her to makeit last more evening.
