“I had dinner before an international flight. This place is worth going through security if it’s not your final terminal and here’s why. It’s a sit down and good service place, unlike other quick options all over the airport. The staff is exceptional. Alexis makes sure you are happy and fed at the bar and is super sweet. Nick gets a gold medal as multi-tasking me made the mistake of leaving behind an expensive personal item. Nick went out of his way to make sure I got the item back even beyond what airport security does. I can’t thank him enough for just being a compassionate human being looking out for someone like a friend and not an insignificant stranger. I would recommend going here anytime and giving them the patronage whenever time permits. They take the time to check in respectfully and you can see customers feel that and are having a good time! “Food was good, drinks were NOT it. However service could have been better. Our sever was pretty rude and made an error with my husbands order then had the audacity to role her eyes once we corrected her. We weren’t rude at all about it. It’s totally ok things happen. But don’t roll your eyes. You work in the service / restaurant industry. Then to top it off they automatically charge 18% tip to your bill. Again totally fine, but I think that’s why we were given poor service as they know they will make their money regardless.This place leaves much to be desired.“
“One of my favorite steakhouses on Long Island. The meat is seasoned and smoked to perfection. A little hard to make a reservation, it's only online (resy) unless you have a big party. Very big space but still beautiful. Sushi is always fresh, drinks are great, and don't pass on dessert!“

“I’m just shy of 50 and this is my first time in LI while residing in NY my entire life. My gf and I came down from Saratoga last minute after our trip to Lauderdale was canceled. We thank Jimmy Hays, his awesome staff and friendly local regulars for their hospitality and overall friendliness. We sat at the bar, felt like I was home at my local favorite establishment. “Formerly Palaminos, now Nunzi's is a great place to go out for a delicious meal and some cocktails. The inside was beautifully done over with great modern decor and the food is amazing. Went with my wife and some friends( a party of 5) and each one really enjoyed their meal. My wife had the wild caught Salmon, I had the grilled chicken BLT, our friends had the Lemon chicken, pear salad with chicken and my buddy had the stuffed filet of sole... the sides ranged from delicious homemade mashed potatoes, to fresh broccoli and carrots to nice crispy fries. All came out with beautiful presentation...Hopefully the place will catch on and do well since the name change... Whoever tries it will be back. I'll be back!!“
“I just love this place :) we come every few months because it’s close to home and they’re open later. The staff are trained very well. We are always so happy with the service. Food is always so yummy my favorites are the lamb chops, lobster salad, poivre sauce, bacon corn brulee and NY strip. Tonight we ventured out and tried the creamed spinach and organic mesclun salad. Both were phenomenal. Their berries and cream is also so light and perfect and the perfect amount of sweetness after eating all that food. Bill the manager is always there when we come through and always makes an effort to stop by for a chat. He is such a sweetheart and very good at what he does. It’s truly always a pleasure at Uncle Jacks. I’m confused on the reviews complaining about the prices. Tonight we got a glass of wine each, 1 bottle of sparkling, 1 app, 1 salad, 1 16oz steak, 1 sauce,2 sides and 2 desserts for $200 AFTER 20% tip. I think that’s amazing, especially for the atmosphere and service.“
“We love it here. The entrees are delicious and the desserts were good too. There are lots of big groups and families dining usually there is a wait even with reservations so plan accordingly. We like to ask for our fries well done and then add extra salt too.“
