“It was crowded and they were BUSY on a working Wednesday. I guess the food being this good, it would be a destination! Grub by Chef Waree is a gem. We had the Stewed Beef soup with rice noodles. Umami was off the charts with the soup. That meant that each slurp of perfectly cooked noodle was nicely coated with enough tasty broth not to need anything else. What was important to me was the great blend of textures with Gailan nicely chopped and perfectly cooked, fresh bean sprouts, and the rice noodles and tender, tasty beef chunks. The Phad Thai with Crispy Duck was well flavored and nicely spicy for "medium". The phat thai was generously sauced without drowning in sauce. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere.“

I had the fois gras terrine with peach and chili which had the perfect balance of sweetness to cut through the fois gras, with a little bit of heat from the chili. My Wife had the smoked salmon on Gouda hash brown which although very rich was her highlight of the meal! For main I had the 21oz sirloin and my wife had the iberico pork shoulder - both cooked to perfection.The ambience of the restaurant is cosy, but unsurprisingly upmarket and the staff are all very pleasant.“

My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“

“We used A Little Cake for our wedding cake and they truly were incredible to work with! They offered a cake tasting in person, gave us time to think and discuss, didn't rush us to make decisions at all. Their cakes are super moist, not overly sweet, and their designs are so special! “Oh my!! If you pass this spot up you are missing out. We ordered the cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, and Cinnabons. The cupcakes were so soft and velvety. I was expecting had and grainy but these cupcakes are built as if you made regular ones and pulled them out the oven. My mouth watered eating them. The chocolate chip cookies were also soft and delicious. This place needs a stop when you're in the neighborhood. Even for the non vegan crowd these baked good will leave you surprised and ordering additional.“

I had the Pecan Crusted Salmon Baked Topped with Honey Glazed Pecans served with Caramelized Yams & Collard Greens. So good. The collards had a kick which was a surprise delicious. Our soft drink was the Carolina Sunrise Punch delicious, seriously. The biscuits and cornbread muffins again delicious. My granddaughter had fried chicken wings with French fries and a vegetable from the youngins menu she was well pleased. The server was warm and friendly lie everyone there. The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“
