“Ordered a sweet greens juice which was surprisingly refreshing and a Ham panini with fries and it was like going back in time to my moms house for a toasted ham and cheese sandwich which just warmed the soul. I ordered a chicken quesadilla to go and it came with rice and beans and a side salad with guac and sour cream and a zesty dressing which was delicious. I will definitely be returning for lunch and trying something new. They have a pretty extensive menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. I originally went there for a smoothie and opted to try something else which clearly was a good decision. I saw that they even serve ice cream which is a plus for me.Parking: I parked right next to the restaurant it looked like it was spacious enough to have a few clients at a time and i did not pay. I believe there is street parking but that road is busy since its near a highway exit so i could be wrong. There may even be paid parking across the street or adjacent but i wasnt paying much attention to thatKid-friendliness: I can only assume its kid friendly since its a restaurant and they serve ice cream and have snacks on a shelf. I do not remember if they had a kids menu but you can feed kids anything from there in moderationWheelchair accessibility: Double doors and enough space to get in and out from the restaurant as well as accommodations since the tables are not tall and chairs can be moved out of the way. Side walk seems to have enough space to go from parking lot to the front door and into location just fine“
“Taking a "Jim Keegan, this is your life tour" following dinner in Island Park and on the way back to the hotel, I stopped here. This was the very first official job I ever had (45 years ago) working at this Carvel! When I worked there, my favorite sundae I made for myself was a butterscotch sundae on chocolate chip mint ice cream!! I went there at 9:45 and even though they should have been open until 10:00, they had already locked the door. I begged and pleaded, and the young lady opened the door for me. I told her my story, and she made me my sundae. Then....she said, "it's on me!!!" She wouldn't take any money, so I placed a VERY generous tip in the tip jar!! I am sooooo loving this walk down memory lane!!!“
“These are all my cookies i have ever gotten from crumbl. They were all delicious. Cannot eat a whole cookie in one sitting tbh but that is not a bad thing at all! That means I can savor the cookie over a period of time woo! My favs from the times I've got crumbl were blueberry cheesecake, snickerdoodle cupcake, cannoli and cinnamon square! Many awesome and yummy flavors. The store is very clean and smells of fresh cookies. Yummmm“
“This place is a hidden gem and features some of the best ice cream/ gelato I've ever had on Long Island. I got the campfire crunch swirly, and it was delicious. Ice cream was super cremy and fresh, and they put the perfect amount of blended toppings in the swirly. The shop featured about 20 gelato flavors to choose from and also had a nice expresso bar/candy station in the back. The service was nice and friendly.Overall, this place is a must try!“
“This place is a little diamond. Went for the first time last night and WOW. It took me back to Italy. They don't use the artificial flavors you'll find at all the local icecream shops. It's REALLY pistachio and hazelnut and chocolate. The flavors were absolutely incredible and smooth. Not too sweet. Just perfect across the board. No little bits of ice like you get at other spots where the ice cream has been sitting. It was all fresh. And the owner was a lovely Italian woman who was so happy to share her treats with us. They were very kind and patient as we struggled to pick a flavor (because they all were AMAZING). They also have an assortment of tarts and the icecream cakes that looks like the best ice cream cake you'll ever have. They are absolutely beautiful! If you love proper Italian gelato or ice cream this spot is gonna be your new favorite.“
“In doing an Aperol Spritz themed bridal shower for my daughter we rented the Aperol spritz tricycle from Dolce & Gelato. I started contacting Gino Parente the minute my daughter got engaged.? I’m an earlier planner. Gino was so responsive and so kind immediately. Nothing was a problem for him. He is unbelievable with communicating, I called him at least 15 times. ?. He takes the time out to speak to you as if you are his only customer. A truly professional man to work with . On the day of the shower the tricycle was decorated beautifully with fake flowers and the bar attendant Katherine was fantastic! My daughter and our guests had an absolute blast getting drinks from the cart and taking photos. So much fun! I’ll definitely be using Gino’s company Dolce & Gelato again! A truly wonderful experience working with him!“
“Stopped here while I was in town for a work function and needed a sweet treat but wanted something that was local. The slightly older lady with brown hair and glasses who was working was super friendly and welcoming. I tried a few different flavors, as I couldn't decide and wow!!.. they were all delicious. I landed on the sea salt caramel flavor as it was fantastic and so creamy. I got a small bowl of that at a good price with great service. Definitely worth the pit stop! Sorry, I forgot to take a photo since I ate the ice cream so quickly!!!“
“This spot is truly a hidden gem in the Westbury area. The essence of Nana's is that of an ice cream parlor and coffee shop with baked goods. However they also serve beer and cocktails alongside some quick eats such as burgers, and special menu items such as gumbo or shrimp & grits. On Wednesday evenings they have a fun Trivia Night which is free to join. Nana's is a slice of New Orleans hospitality in the middle of Nassau County.“
