“My first time coming here and let me tell you it was amazing!! The atmosphere was so welcoming. The space is large so it’s so easy to get around. And the food, OMG THE FOOD, was amazing. I can usually always finish what I order from other places but I couldn’t finish this the portions were huge!!! Love the fire and EMS badges hung all around as well. Can’t wait to go back again.“
“Had a craving for a fish fry, then remembered Hot Off The Brick. I stopped in and ordered. Took about 15 minutes. Got home to Clark Mills , was still nice and hot. Very good quality fish, and good size portions. French fries were very good too. I will definitely go there again. Nice job Mike and crew“
“It was the best of pizzas. It was the worst of pizzas. Two pizzas were ordered; a NY style large meatball and a plain upside down pie. The NY pie was not very good. The crust was so thin, there was no chew. All crisp and no chew. No layer between the crispy bottom and the wet, saucy side. Cracked and crumbled when folded. The ratio of crust to cheese to sauce was off. Baked on a screen. WAY too much gooey, non-snapping cheese. The outer crust had no chew to it and was too airy and light. Sauce was on point and meatballs were excellent. And, 16" isn't really a large in a REAL NY pizzeria. 18" is the NY standard. Then came the big save; the upside down or Utica pie. It was truly excellent. Probably pretty much the same ingredients as their NY style pizza, but WAY better in a different form. I ate it hot. I ate it at room temperature. Each bite was a flavorgasm. So, skip their NY style pie which is mediocre at best and order something memorable.“

“I was at the Black River Ale house along side one, Michael Farnsworth. This guy ate the whole sandwich with a smile on his face, was pleasant to the bartender and waitress and didn’t complain about anything. He also was repeatedly farting and going to the bathroom, i found it weird how many times he would go. I am confused at his review and the wait time on his sandwich was far from 20 minutes, it’s also wing night at the bar which is obvious, so what kind of moron orders a steak sandwich when you can get .75$ wings? Something’s wrong with this guy! If he was looking for fine dinning he should have taken his sorry rear end back to Syracuse! ALE HOUSE FOR LIFE“
“We went to this Pizza Hut cuz the one in Rome had the dining room closed. Explained to Sean about our gluten-free cheese sticks made from a gluten-free pizza crust with cheese and the seasonings. He accepted the challenge and came out victorious. The cheese sticks were perfect, nice and crisp and our pizzas were perfect too just the way we ordered them. “I ordered a meatball and sausage calzone and extra crispy wings. Everything was hot and delicious. Did not disappoint! The sauce was spot on, wings were crispy but not overcooked and the calzone was overstuffed with meat. We will definitely placing future orders. The price was good too!“
“I've taken folks from out of town here and the comment we get is always the same: they don't make 'em like this anymore. The Palisades is special. Especially when the complimentary hot peppers are out! You can get a beer at any bar, but nothing comes close to chasing the heat from those peppers away with a cold beer.“
“This place is AMAZING! Not only was the food delicious (Their wings, pizza and specialty salads are phenomenal!) and the prices very reasonable, the staff was also very accommodating to our large group. We had let them know we would be coming there after the American Heart Walk this past weekend and they had three large tables waiting for us when we arrived! We also found being able to order ahead online worked wonderfully for those of us pressed for time. (Others ordered when they arrived and also found their orders were filled in a timely manner.) “I ordered 2 large and and 20 wing specials for a little get together I'm having. I ordered the wings medium BBQ mixed. About 10 minutes later, the same pleasant person who took my order called me back asking if I liked the wings with more medium sauce or more BBQ sauce. I asked her name and it was Faolan. “Last time we went, ordered 3 subs.2 were supposed to be mixed, 1 roast beef.We recieved 2 roast beef - in which some people don't eat beef as their culture. The other roast beef sub had huge gobs of mayo on it & hardly any meat. The 3rd sub was made fine.When I called about the sub they wanted me to bring it all the way back there to have one remade. So not only went without lunch from somewhere I wasn't able to leave, but wanted me to go out of my way for 45 mins+ to possibly have another screw up? No thanks...They have been inconsistent since the take over & is definitely not what it used to be.Done.“
“Excellent pizzas late night drive in dive or call in. Laurey is a beautiful soul on her game of making homemade NY Pizzas, Wings & many other things. I don't drink sodas so I had a bottle of birch beer and it was very tasty like root beer. I ordered a large pizza with mushrooms pepperoni & chovies it was superb!!! yum !!! “Place looked clean and inviting. So ordered online for pickup. LG pizza 20 wings, tenders and fries and an order of fried dough. The timing of the order was off bc upon pickup it didn't seam like anyone knew where the pizza was, and then was told a few more mins. Ok np. Except when I got home the fries and tenders were definitely made quite a while ago and the fried dough was also cold. Pizza was scolding hot. Wings were not extra crispy but that could be explained by sitting in a half container of sauce (very oily) not horrible, not fantastic. Might try again someday if a special is worth while otherwise for the cost of going out these days, I'll probably stick to my proven places esp with the cost of wings being what they are still.Wish this business the best of luck and hope they get it together as they grow within the new location.“
“Stopped in today for the first time to take advantage of the daily special of a calzone for 7 bucks.What a bargain. Best calzone I have ever had with thinner, crispy crust, plenty of toppings, great tasting marinara to go with it.Staff was just fantastic friendly and courteous.I will definitely be back for more and to try some of the other delicious sounding menu items.“
