“WOW … This bakery is AMAZING! 5 stars PLUS …They are breads are so delicious. I buy their sourdough bread, weekly, and the pumpernickel, honestly, the best I’ve had.Their cakes are always beautifully decorated. I highly recommend the vanilla pineapple … it’s one of my favorites. And if you don’t want a whole cake, they sell slices as well. Their cookies are always very fresh!!!! The pastries and the croissants melt in your mouth.The only bad part about all of this is that I live very close to the bakery so I can’t help myself and I’ve gained a few pounds.But ……ITS WORTH IT !!!“

“Place is new. We checked it out. Clean place. Excited to have a new gelato place in the neighborhood. I had the Ferraro rocher and it was delicious. My husband had the coffee and lemon flavor and we both ate it all. I'll definitely go again.“

“Can’t sing their praises high enough, the man and woman who work behind the counter here every day always know your order, greet you with a friendly good morning and treat everyone with respect. They work hard and obviously care about their customers. I even started learning some Albanian words and phrases to show the care and respect is mutual. Great coffee at good prices, good pastry and love the organic environmentally friendly soaps and other products too. They are a huge plus for the neighborhood.“

“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“Loved the cake made for my husbands 50th birthday party. I got a two tier cake and two dozen cupcakes. Wonderful customer service and reliable delivery. I was in awe at the ease of how ordering went. I was most impressed that I was able to communicate with a person rather than filling out a form online. I will def order again when I need a cake. All the cupcakes got swooped up so fast I didnt even get a chance to have any.“

“Wow, this place was incredible. They serve incredible French press coffee and have a large selection of expertly prepared Filipino desserts. We got a mango souffle, mango creme brulee, and the ube tiramisu. Each was so delicious and the textures were so smooth. They also serve hot food but we didn't order any.I highly recommend this place for cheap delicious treats.“

“What a nice little snack shop hidden on 164th street between the 7-11 and pizza place. Recommended for kids. Got some super sweet strawberry bubble tea. And cake. And a macaroon. They also have some real food snack options like French fries and chicken bites. Didn’t try the stuffed animal vending machines this time.Kid-friendliness: Stuffed animals on the wall for the kiddies to look at. And sweet dessert foods.“

“One of the best places for cakes and muffins. We were big fan of this place since a long time and glad to come to this new store. The cakes are full of buttercream and just the right amount of sweetness.The ingredients are Halal, so quite a relief for the Muslims to eat the Mousse. Also, appreciate the blend of flavors available.I didn't like the slice of brownie as I found it very dry inside.“

“Sweet (no pun intended) little bakery in Kew Gardens. The shop is not big and the selection is not huge but what they have is very good. I took home two Guava Puffs which were very good. The Crust was sweet and grumbly and it was bursting with Guava. I also took home something I had never tried or seen elsewhere. It's called French Nut. This one was filled with Apricot. Mom and I split it and it was enough to fill us up due to its richness. It was ?. The prices are very reasonable. The lady working there was very helpful and pleasant.“

“I have nut allergies and am so so happy to have Baked Cravings!! The grab and go cake was perfect!! I waited too long to place a custom order and needed something that day. I added the option of birthday candles and then bought some strawberries to decorate it a bit. The flavor was rich but not too sweet. I think I actually prefer the taste of the cake not being completely iced and decorated!! It was a big hit with the party too. $60 for the cake and was able to get about 16 slices/servings from it. “Food, pastries, empanadas and desserts here are all made in-house and they’re all delicious. You can tell their staff is super talented and they put a lot of love into their products. Their iced coffees are always on point and they do a great job of keeping their (albeit small) space clean and hospitable. The girls who I’ve interfaced with here are also really sweet. “This is going to by my weekly bubble tea spot. They were so friendly which is always a driving factor for a quality establishment for me. Price point was great. We only got teas today, but I can't wait to try some of their pastries. They looked beautiful and based on other people's reviews they're probably delicious. We got the brown sugar bubble milk tea and Passion fruit green tea with lychee popping boba and just look at that adorable little heart shaped tea stopper. I will be a frequent flyer here“

“Love this place ! Wish I knew about this place sooner honestly. The communication is 10/10 and the cakes were sooooo good, so soft and moist ! I'm a vegan and been a vegan my whole life and my family is really used to buying cakes from the same places and the cakes are never fancy looking, no designs nothing really with character, also sometimes very dry or hard or just straight up bland ! But this place omg !! Great all around love how they have different designs for vegan cakes and not just 1 ! I feel so inclusive for once by having a nice looking cake for my birthday & the pricing wasn't bad at all !!! I got a vintage pink heart cake for my birthday on January 19th and my lil sisters birthday was on the 23rd so we also got her a cake but it was a Valentine's Day cake turned into a birthday cake ! “Great coffee and egg tart! I got in and was out the door really quick. I had a craving for egg tarts and this place hit the spot. All the pastries were wrapped in plastic and the bakery itself felt clean. It's also nice that they had a little parking lot for customers especially being on such a busy street“

“I can't give Sans Bakery enough compliments! Their service and care about items shipped is better than anyone I have dealt with past present and probably future.My sister wanted to order a Lamington cakes for my birthday. Brian made sure I was shipped what my sister had ordered; the six individual cakes that are wrapped(I thought it was the cake). However, UPS in their divine wisdom, deemed it necessary to ship them on a scenic tour. They didn't arrive on time for my birthday but that was NO FAULT of the bakery's. I want that to be perfectly clear. I reached out to Brian and while I was disappointed that I wouldn't get them on time he was so kind and empathetic that I couldn't stay upset for long. Again, I thought it was the regular cake and not the individual ones. Brian said he would ship replacements but once I saw they were the individual ones and confirmed they were still fine to eat, I was happy, my sister was happy, all was well. But Brian wasn't having it, he was unhappy that UPS failed us both. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I received another box of the Lamington cakes! I was not expecting that. I was perfectly fine with the outcome but Brian again is an amazing person and he didn't appreciate that this was a representation of his bakery by UPS's failings. So now I have plenty of Lamington cakes and they are freezable so I put a few away so I can enjoy them later.As far as being true Lamington cake like the original in Australia, it took me right back to Adelaide where I had my very first one! Oh my goodness they're so good! And did I mention they're gluten-free?!I cannot thank Brian and Sans Bakery enough for making my Unbirthday amazing and tickling my palette enough that I sent pictures to my cousin in Melbourne Australia taunting her a little. “Cakes by Nerwan saved my sister's birthday! My little sister is in a residency program and does not get much time off to visit family back home. She called me feeling a bit homesick and told me she was sad that no one had thought to get her a birthday cake. Cakes by Nerwan to the rescue! Not only did Nerwan personally help me order a dozen delicious cupcakes to surprise her, they hand wrote a note from me to include in the delivery. They even threw in some extra goodies as a little gift from them. And they got it all ready and delivered just in time for her birthday suprise to be waiting for her when she got home from work that same day. Incredible customer service and delicious cupcakes!
