“We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. Chicken wings stole the show, incredibly tasty and crispy. They offer a wide range of Pho (noodle) as well. Desserts are also must-try, the coconut jelly and the creamcheese yoghurt are sooo refreshing while not too sweet. Will defo come back to try their House special rice and spring rolls.“
“I have been craving nam khao tod since living in Europe where SE Asian food is fairly basic. This did not disappoint! They made it spicy as I requested and gave me more herbs/lettuce for free when I'd run out! Note it's cash only.“
“This food was so delicious that 6 months later I am still thinking about it once a week. The fusion was great and I am so pleased it was shown to me by a friend. The restaurant is rather small but does not feel claustrophobic. The service was fantastic, we had a very pleasant waiter. I would suggest making a reservation in advance since seating is limited.“
“My favorite Pho place. Delicious food, bit more expensive compared to other pho places, but it's worth it. I love their signature pho, house special banmi sandwich. For appetizers, summer roll is my favorite.Dietary restrictions: Was able to take out/replace the ingredients for specific dietary reasons“
“I usually come here for their boba and today I was craving a Vietnamese sandwich so I got the bbq pork sandwich and let me say I am surprise at how good it is! I was a little spectacle about ordering a sandwich in a boba shop but I must say the bbq pork sandwich was delicious. It was so flavorful and with a good amount of spice ! They service is quick and the staff are super helpful and friendly. There is a small heated outdoors dining area for you to sit also! I will be back to try the signature bbq pork sandwich next time!“
“Stopped in for a quick lunch. I had the tofu bahn mi. Service was quick, friendly, and helpful. Solid bahn mi. I added some sriracha to give it some extra spice! There was one gender neutral restroom. The staff didn't rush me out after finishing and kindly pointed out that they have free wifi.“
“Amazing service, great drinks, and the best pho in flushing! The broth was rich in flavor and the beef was tender. Their pork chop was perfectly cooked and paired with picked veggies which is the perfect combo. The dessert was great, not overly sweet which was perfect to end our meal.“
“I think my misstep was my ordering. I've had the chicken pho for takeout and it was delicious. Light, warm, but filling. When I dined in for the first time with friends I ordered a pandan inspired cocktail and the smoked brisket pho - both were very aromatic and smoked. I definitely should've assumed that given the naming for both, but I think they were too strong for my liking. Would go again, but will probably order something else.“
“I got the chicken banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee. The sandwich was decent but I thought the veggies could’ve been pickled a bit more. The price point is good… and it’s closer to my parents’ house, so I’ll come by again and check out other items on the menu.Other info: There’s a bathroom, but limited seating. Metered parking.“
“I was excited to see that there was a Vietnamese Restaurant nearby, so I went today to try it out. Staff was so nice. I had the Brisket and Tendons pho. I have to say… it was delicious. The broth was tasty but not overly rich. The meat and tendon were good. I had to take it home because couldn’t finish it. They currently have a promo that if you order a main dish, they give you a Thai tea for free. Love it. Fresh and not too sweet. Will be coming back soon.“
“The best part of this place is the atmosphere, love all the plants and Vietnamese chachtskis they have laying around. The food comes quick, good portion and they have a ton of unique sauces to pair. The service is usually a trademark bushwick transplant with just a enough tude to get you thru the check out and on to your meal.“
“A great place to stop and try the rich flavor of Vietnamese culture. A little hide amongst the hustle and bustle of Jackson Heights , but a great find when you get there. Good environment, quiet , and I suggest the shrimp sour soup - delicious ! And their frog legs on a spice sauce ! A must go place when in Jackson Heights . Oh, they don’t have sparkling water , just in case . I ordered and I though they didn’t understand but in the end I realized they really didn’t have it .“
“A coworker put me on to Joju 4 years ago and to this day, they are still one of my favorite local spots. Their service is always quick and on point, they don't mess up orders and are respectful of special requests. The flavors are amazing and they thankfully put a good amount of meat in their sandwiches and bowls (my pet peeve is restaurants slacking on their meat portion while inflating prices). My favorite is the Lemongrass Chicken Bowl, and Lemon Thai tea. Chicken is super juicy!!Thank you JoJu!! Please don’t ever change“
“After my old beef cube place shuttered almost 2 years ago my son and I have been left with a void as we live in the city and come Into Queens specifically for this however I was recommended Pho-Tan last week from a friend and now life is once again good!“
“i'm so sorry but i was disappointed. i've ordered 3 times hoping for better, but no luck... - their pad thai lacks flavor, like literally, it has spices (red pepper) but minimal sauce, fish bladder soup also feels like water with fish bladder. The only thing noteworthy were dumplings. The location is more catering for pick up, rather than sit down. I had such high hopes... I will be happy to update if it changes...“
“I had the pork banh mi to go. I was amazed at the size of the sandwich for the price. The pork was tender and plentiful and the veggies were very fresh. Also the bread was perfectly toasted. Only slightly spicy it exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the pho.“
“It was a little difficult to find at first using Google because it was located inside the food court inside the shopping mall. It was around 1 o'clock, and the banh mi I ordered came out quickly and was nice because it was cut in half for easy eating. The taste was above average.“
“Little mo is a vietnamese fusion hidden gem serving authentic viet flavors with a modern twist in brooklyn! they serve a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options including pho, rice, salads, appetizers, banh mi sandwiches, and drinks.we ordered:*summer roll $10.95*mo’s special pho $19.95*crispy cajun fish banh mi $15.95*shrimp banh mi $15.95*eggplant mushroom bowl $16.95 *vegan*thai iced tea w/ oat milk *6.50*rose lemonade $5.5we loveddd the food here. the fish and shrimp banh mis were soo yumm and filling, actually the best banh mi i’ve had in nyc and love the fusion twist with a side of fries cus who doesn’t love fries. my friend lovedd the mo’s special beef pho, rated it 9/10 one of the best in the city. the summer roll dipped in the peanut sauce was also so good. not a big fan of the marinated eggplant mushroom rice, i did not like the sauce and would choose tofu next time as my vegetarian option. drinks were great too, loved how thai tea was sweet!I highly recommend this spot to satisfy your viet food cravings! service was great and it's a chill casual spot for lunch/ dinner!“
“Came here with friends and enjoyed our time. It was decently empty because it was a Monday night and the service wad relagively fast. Lighting is nice, but at one point our eyes started burning, probably from something that was being cooked? It didn't take away from the meal though, which I throroughly enjoyed. I had the Money pho and we also ordered the thai basil popcorn chicken and popcorn shrimp. The drink options were quite limited, the drinks we ordered were full of ice.“
“the waiter who works the night shift is honestly the best. dude always makes sure we get our food / drinks / apps quickly and he's always super nice even if the place is packed.he's also usually the only one on the floor during the night so he's great for the service he gives“
“Good place for clean eating, which is hard to come by.I’ve had the Pho a bunch and their rice dish. The rice dish is white rice, meat, some veg with a small thing of sauce on the side. Very simple, tasty, cooked well, clean ingredients.Pho is great. Comparable to any good pho I’ve had.“
“Craving for pho and this place was pretty good. Ordered the pho with beef, meatballs and tendons. The beef was thin and soft. Tendons weren't too chewy and almost melted while eating. The pho soup had lots of flavor and was not watered down. For the none soup lovers, the lemongrass pork and spring rolls over rice noodles is a pretty good alternative. Plenty of meat and noodles topped with sauce. Beef or shrimp summer rolls were on the smaller side, but tasted good. A few tables indoors, metered parking in front.“
“They really stuff the banhmis full and toast the bread nicely so that you get a little bit of everything in each bite. Overall, it does the job but I have had better banhmis. Our chicken and pork banhmis were a bit dry and the pickled carrots were lacking that pickled flavor.“
“Me and my husband genuinely liked our dinner here,We ordered oxtail pho and veggie phoOxtail was well cooked, the soup was delicious. We ate that with a buttered warm baguette. Veggie pho had a light broth which was enjoyable too.Servers are welcoming and they check on you to ensure you are having a great experience.Plenty of parking near byI do recommend this place.“
“Had a strong craving for some Pho on a smoldering Tuesday afternoon and needed it asap. Thankfully there was Jad Jaan's near enough to me and available to deliver. They're in Washington Heights so if you're in any of the surrounding neighborhoods put them on your radar. I was able to get the basic Pho Slide ('Slice' typo I think) Rare Eye Round delivered piping hot. Broth and meat were kept separate from the noodles so nothing is soggy and the meat is ready by the time it arrives. They give you plenty of garnish and sauce so you aren't missing anything by not going in...except probably air conditioning. Would also recommend the Chicken & Shrimp Dumplings!“
“I tried Vietnamese food for the first time here, and I'm glad I did! The woman who appeared to be the owner/manager was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I dined in and had the seafood pho and the traditional banh mi, both delicious. I rarely take food home but had leftover pho that still tasted good the next day.The space was much smaller than I expected (cozy, not cramped), so parties of four or fewer are probably best.“
“Ha Long Bay in New Hyde Park is a gem! The Bun Bo Hue soup I ordered was extraordinarily delicious—a flavor explosion. Katy, our waitress, was incredibly attentive and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. A definite must-visit for authentic Vietnamese cuisine with exceptional service!“
“They got super good food here in this little place that could be easily overlooked. I tried the pho with beef brisket and loved it. They took their time cooking the smoked beef brisket and the soup was spot on. It was out of my expectation how generous they are on the beef brisket. The hot soup warmed me up right away and filled me up pretty well. I’m sorry guys that I forgot to take pics because I ate everything so fast lol. I will make sure to include some pictures next time.Vegetarian options: I saw that they have a good selection for vegetarians.“
“Nothing beats a nice hot bowl of Phò! The broth is super flavorful, noodles perfectly cooked and the beef at the correct temp. The fried spring rolls were excellent, crispy and delicious. We also got the grilled chicken, great sear and juicy! A must go if you love Phò!“
“I ordered off uber eats, i was very upset that they didn’t give me chopsticks .. when I order from a ASIAN restaurants i’d expect chopsticks, not a spoon and fork… but when I tasted the pho none of that even mattered anymore ! this was the best one i’ve had . the broth wasn’t sweet which I REALLY liked, It had really good flavor and all the topping were fresh . They also gave this red sauce which wasn’t spicy but still tasty ! I will definitely pay them a visit .“
“This was my first time ever trying pho and I’m so glad it was because it set my standard for pho very high. It was really good and tasty. The broth was the best part because it was very savory and flavorful. The noodles could’ve absorbed the flavor more better but overall worth the price. The beef also paired well with the dish. I definitely wanna go back again. The service was very very quick and you get free hot tea and complimentary sauces with the pho. The price is also affordable and cheap since I ordered the small bowl of pho which was massive and could feed 2-3 people all for $11.95I also ordered the shrimp spring rolls which tasted nice with the peanut sauce and I’m not a fan of peanut sauce but this one was good. It did feel like the servers were waiting for me to finish so I felt kinda pressured to eat the pho quickly since they kept looking at me to see if I’m done but I’m not so bothered by that, others might mind that tho. Next time will try their drinks and other phos!“
“Stopped by on my way back from work at about 8pm to try this spot out!To begin, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was inviting and authentic. The owner was incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring I had a seamless dining experience. As for the food, it was beyond delicious! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The pho was hands down the best I've ever had, and the spring rolls were divine. The menu offers a great variety, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Portions were generous, and prices were reasonable considering the quality of food and service.Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!“
“Was craving pho and found this place on yelp. We were really happy we tried this place out. Came on a Saturday afternoon and was seated right away. Lots of ample space and staff was very attentive. Prices were also decent for the amount of food served. We were stuffed. Will def be coming back again.“
“Decent cheap vietnamese food. Cash only. Food comes out very fast especially for pho. Try to get to know the menu first before coming up because they really offer fast service. I tried pho tai gan, but I would recommend trying their grilled chicken over rice, as the table beside me radiates super fragrant smell from it. Lastly, leave the tip on the table.“
“From the moment you step into Ginger and Lemongrass, a Vietnamese culinary haven in Whitestone, you're enveloped by the aromas of authentic, rich flavors that promise a delightful dining experience. I have frequented this restaurant multiple times, and each visit solidifies my love for their exquisite cuisine. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the pho. The soup base is deep, rich, and layered with flavors that make other versions seem bland in comparison. It's a comforting bowl that brings the essence of Vietnam right to your table. Equally impressive are the savory cakes, which are a unique delight with a subtle hint of coconut that tickles the palate in the most pleasant way. While I enjoy dishes with a stronger heat, the coconut spicy lemongrass soup was a well-balanced medium spicy, suitable for most taste buds. However, the real surprise was the steamed seafood paired with garlic bread – a combination that enhanced the flavors and added a satisfying texture contrast to the meal.Despite the restaurant's bustling atmosphere, especially noted during our last visit at 6:30 PM, the service remained commendable. Although there were minor hiccups, like two items missing from our order, the staff's efforts to rectify the situation were noteworthy. They promptly addressed the oversight with the kids' pho and graciously compensated with a complimentary coconut pandan lemonade, which was a refreshing end to our meal.Ginger and Lemongrass truly stands out not just for its authentic and flavorful dishes, but also for its dedication to customer satisfaction. The packed house is a testament to its popularity and the quality of its offerings. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Vietnamese dining experience in Whitestone. Their commitment to flavor, service, and a genuine dining experience is evident in every dish and interaction.“
