“We didn’t have super crazy expectations walking in for lunch on a Sunday, it was pretty empty as expected, they seated us immediately. The menu was unique, I wish they had more variety for people who aren’t as food adventurous/ are craving the usual cheeseburger or something. We ordered their duck wings, a bacon burger, and their beef on weck. The duck wings were good but the duck meat itself could’ve been better prepared. I wanted a good bar burger for lunch but all of their options were of the unique variety to some kind of twist, so I asked to order a regular burger and they charged we extra. The beef on weck was good. Their fries were honestly the best part. The worst part was the service. Our waitress asked us if we wanted more napkins then left for 15 minutes and never brought them. She then asked us if we wanted a box and we ended up having to grab one ourselves because she never brought it.“
“If there was a higher rating than 5 stars I would give it. The service was amazing and we felt so welcomed and treated so well. The food was amazing with really great portions and the owner was one of the nicest most calming souls I’ve ever encountered. Will be back here often you will not regret it give it a try.“
“Excellent Pad Thai and Crab Rangoons. I don't like celery and the waitress/cook offered to make fresh crab rangoon minus the celery. They also gave us a glass of wine on the house. Excellent service and friendly staff. We will be back, for sure.“
“Always love coming to Golden Hill! This is my fourth time coming here, l've come alone and brought friends too! The service is always wonderful and the restaurant itself is small and peaceful. My go-to dish is the Tom Kar with shrimp, it's comforting and the flavor is delicious. The sautéed string beans are a must, they're seasoned to perfection! Also got the Szechuan style sliced fish and I would recommend if you like spicy food. I’ve also went basic and gotten orange chicken and crab rangoons and they were both very satisfying and flavorful! Surprisingly, I've never witnessed it being busy but they're always getting phone calls and preparing takeout orders so l assume that's where most of the business comes from.“
“Ordered for the first time from Aung Family Restaurant. EVERYTHING was delicious. I ordered Thai coffee, tempura shrimp, samosas, Udon soup and red curry so I could sample. The shrimp was battered well, crispy outside, with tender inside, the shrimp was fresh and deveined. The Udon soup was seasoned well, with delicious grilled chicken and half a boiled egg. The samosas were crisply fried and full of seasoned vegetables that were soft but NOT mushy - the sauce has perfect flavor and heat. The red curry is rich and creamy but with enough spice to keep it from being *too* rich and cloying. I ate a little bit of everything. Great portions. This coffee reminds me of café au laít in New Orleans, it's full-bodied rich and strong. (I don't like sweet coffee- this was just right) I had this delivered but looking forward to visiting in person!“
“If you're looking for slightly elevated American Chinese food (with a couple of Thai options), this place is right up there with Red Pepper in Amherst as one of the best take-out spots in the suburbs. We don't eat meat so I can't speak to those dishes, but the General Tso Tofu and vegetarian fried rice and lo mein are all excellent. No weird yellow dye fried rice here, it's all very fresh. There is also a small discount for cash orders so I always stop at the ATM before picking up my order. The prices are slightly higher than some Chinese take out but the difference in quality is well worth it.This is the only place I'll order Chinese take-out from (and you can order online).Vegetarian options: Vegetable Fried Rice, Vegetable Lo Mein, Curry Tofu, General Tso Tofu, Sesame Tofu, Eggplant“
“It does not matter whether you go to the Blasdell or Amherst location, they have the best kind of drinks i’ve ever had. My favorite is the milk smoothies. they have almond, coconut, coffee, honeydew. and others. those listed are just the ones i’ve had. I’ll put it to you this way, I like this place so much that i’m taking the active effort to copy and paste this review onto the both Tea Leaf locations. (it’s true)“
“I personally believe that this place has the best Chinese food in Buffalo. It's not very Americanized and greasy like most of the places here. They serve authentic food items which I like a lot. I wish they were open a little bit earlier!“
“Excellent service, very kind and knowledgeable. When asked for suggestions they described texture and flavor extensively. It was easy to experiment with a new sushi. without straying from what I know I enjoy.Food was fresh and flavorful. Great presentation.Excited to come back next time I'm in town!“
“it was my first time at this place and most definitely won’t be my last. i absolutely LOVED this place and will now be my new favorite chinese food restaurant. The service was excellent and speedy. and the food was incredible, the best i’ve had in a long time. i only waited maybe 10 minutes not even for my food which is normal for restaurants :) i highly recommend this place.“

“This place is great, 5 stars! Food is always fresh and hot, reasonable prices, big portions, the Tokyo Chicken has probably been my least favorite, it's good but a little crispy for my taste, the beef teriyaki is very good but my favorite has been the pork platter, it's delicious!“
“The AK47 was delicious. Please get it if you like spicy food; you will absolutely regret it. But what’s the point of spicy food if it’s not melting your face off? It tastes very good, then the spice comes outta nowhere and beats the snot out of you. If I could give it 6 stars, I “
