“I have eaten off the food truck twice now, and both times were incredible. The first time was the open faced flatbread Cuban and today it was the Big Pig, which was loaded with ham, bacon and pulled pork slathered with BBQ sauce. This is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten.“

“Was craving rice and peas when I drove past this place unexpectedly in Berea so of course I had to stop. Fortunately there were great vegetarian options. I had the rice and peas, curry vegetables w/ veggie chunks (soya/TVP) and plantains. It was heavenly. Just the right about of heat to give it flavor and perfect portion size. “When I go to a pretentious stuffy place with mediocre food my first thought is “I wish I was at Nate’s”. They don’t reinvent the wheel or come up with weird trendy menu items. They just make the best friggin diner food you’ve ever had. The wait staff is always friendly and quick. Cannot recommend this place enough. “I had the pleasure of meeting the team from Italian Creations last night at a wedding at Lake Effect Studios. As a professional DJ, I have had lots of wedding food. I have to say, everything was excellent. From the salad bowl with a tasty balsamic dressing to the spaghetti vodka. If you are looking for authentic home cooked Italian food, look no further. The Suya was perfect to me, had enough spices!I also ordered the Abula a few weeks ago. The gbegiri, ewedu and stew were good.I have enjoyed both experiences with this restaurant. “I remember running out after catholic school racing to go here when they were on the corner of Lansing Ave. They would set out samples of smokies and would let me have some. Unfortunately I think I started that because I lived on Lansing and always went there so I knew. Other kids started following me to this wonderful family owed shop. They were so lovely and never complained and just set them out. Once in awhile I would buy one. I’m 47 now and it’s such a lovely memory for me. A highlight after school. I have since moved out the area however my husband works in it. He surprises me often with a few bags of smokies. Oh man still delicious and nothing like them. Only problem is there is never enough sharing them now with my kids. If you know about their smokies than you know. If you don’t than you’re missing out“

“I rarely write reviews or rate things, but I had to write a review on this one. We went to a couples date night with a social group that we belong to. We are vegan, and the event was buffet style. I called ahead to find out if there would be anything we could eat. After speaking with someone, we found that we could eat a few of the sides. They said just ask for a different salad dressing at the beginning. I approached one of the staff and made the dressing request. They not only gave us a salad with a different dressing, but the chef made us an amazing dinner plate that was completely off the menu. They did this in the spur of the moment. I would recommend this venue to anyone for any event. Not only was the building cool (ie. ambience, view, decor, etc), but the amount of staff, the level of customer service, and the sincerity was amazing! We had an awesome time. Thank you Windows.“
