Three stars feels exactly right for this place. Bagels and sandwiches are fine, not bad but also not great. The staff is kind of just there, but not all that friendly. The look and feel of the place could use an update. I definitely think they benefit from scarcity of other options…
$5.50 for a sausage egg and cheese, that’s all… used to come in here all the time and was shocked when I went in on a whim and saw the prices now. And as usual, the place was filthy.

I'm not sure what happened but Big Apple Bagels used to be the best bagels in Cincinnati. This is no longer the case. Very dry and small, tasteless bagels have replaced what used be delicious New York style bagels.
