Cabana On the River Reviews
A great spot if you’re looking for good food, a diverse menu, and riverfront atmosphere. The location right on the Ohio River really makes it—perfect views while you eat or sip something. Just a heads up, it’s open-air, so plan accordingly for weather. Also, expect a wait on nice weekends, but you can grab a drink and enjoy the river while you wait, which makes it worth it.
Bought 2 chicken and vegetable dishes ($16+). Veggies were well over cooked, mushy, nasty, and was mircowaved. No fresh veggies on this dish. The broccoli tasted like green beans. Pitiful dishes. Felt very much taken advantage of. "Hey let's serve veggies from kroger's frozen section and jack up the price. We win and the customer...ah we will show we just don't care about quality." Spent a lot of money, and the food was worse than bar food. Let the server know our feedback....read full review

Located along the Ohio River, Cabana On the River offers a casual dining experience with outdoor seating and scenic river views. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, with live music on weekends, a sand volleyball court, and a full bar accessible from the court. The menu features a good selection of food options, including popular dishes like fish and chips, and a delicious Mahi Mahi dinner. The friendly and attentive staff provide excellent service from start to finish. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and offers plenty of free parking, making it easy for boaters and visitors alike. While sitting by the river can be enjoyable, some guests have noted that getting a shaded spot can be tricky, especially for small groups, and weather can affect outdoor dining. Overall, Cabana On the River remains a popular spot on the west side of Cincinnati for good food, fun, and scenic views.
