“Today was my first time here and I came with friends and my 5 year old son. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Sebastian! He was extremely patient with my son and went the extra mile with his food recommendations and making it kid-friendly. He also noticed which sauces I seemed to like the most and brought one that did not originally come with my meal. The food and atmosphere as wonderful in itself, but Sebastian made our first time here one to be remembered! Thank you to him!!”

“The food was great, fresh, the fries were homemade, good atmosphere, but the only sauces they have are spicy ones, including the ranch. The only other downfall is the non-alcoholic drinks, no refills only glass bottles, staff was friendly so overall a good experience.”

“This is a tiny little shop that's been around for so long that is an institution in Coventry Village, on the same level as Tommy's. You can just feel how not-corporate they are, and I'm pretty sure that the owner works the counter, which I think is awesome. Their subs are all so good, and their bread is some of my favorite. A whole sub is a good investment if you want leftovers for the next day - it works out to around $6-7 a meal (for me at least). They have a drink fridge. There's no seating for dine-in, but they do have benches to wait - although I always prefer to drop into another store nearby and come back in a few minutes to pick it up.

Note that as of October 2024, the only credit/debit card they accept is Visa. It gives an option to tip on the card, so you don't need cash for that. I encourage tipping here, because the kitchen is open and you can really tell that they're working hard at it.

Vegetarian options: I forget which sub it is, but they have a mushroom sub that is absolutely delicious - one of the best veggie subs I've ever had. I'm not sure if have any vegan cheese, but let's be honest - why would anyone even want vegan cheese?”

“My wife and I wanted something a little different for our wedding cake - Tiramisu. We went to multiple bakeries and were told it wouldn't be possible to make a tiered cake out of tiramisu. When we approached Sophie La Gourmande, they were excited about our idea and made our vision come to life! Our cake turned out even better than we pictured, and of course tasted amazing. Would absolutely recommend them for your next event!”

“I usually love this place but tonight's curbside order was an hour and a half wait (usually curbside pickup is a half hour)! They now also have signed up with other delivery services so they are super busy. Our food wasn't ready when it was promised. I went in and there were about 3-4 empty tables! You'd think that with the long wait the tables would be backed up too. I mentioned to the manage that if I had known there were tables available I would have dined in instead of take out. She said they try to get their dine-in customers their food before the take out. 🤦 Really Dewey's, what customer wants to know that their service is not as important as another customer? If I had known that I wouldn't have waited an hour and a half (plus) at home, and would have gone in, placed my order then changed my mind and taken it to go!”

“First time visiting but won't be the last time. Taking the advice of friends- I got the cheesecake. Despite calling on short notice, they made sure they had a full one available for me. Every single person at the holiday get together was going in for this delicious, generously sized cheesecake. Not a crumb was left. Leshawn was very helpful and suggested the peach cobbler, which was also very good (and he included a few forks so we shared it) Can't wait to go back and try more sweets. This is a great place for an everyday treat or a special occassion!”

The staff in the kitchen … you guys are so amazing, warm and gracious. We will be back. The Tinman! That was one extraordinary burger. “The service from Chenara the bar tender was great. Only one cook, so the kitchen was pretty slow for a taco Tuesday. Tacos were the mini tortillas and the ground beef was either cooked earlier then re- cooked or just burnt. Fish on the tacos were good but shrimp and fish tacos need some sort of sauce other than sour cream and salsa. If not for her bubbly service and always smiling the rating would be lower.”

“If it always takes you 45 minutes or more to get your orders sent out via Door Dash. If you people can't read your tickets, or tell the difference between a single and a double burger, if you don't know what medium well is, and all you can do is send people cold, limp, soggy fries every single time they order you should not be in business, period. You have some non-cooking mo fo's working for you and you need to CLOSE IT DOWN”

“While visiting Cleveland we really wanted good seafood and this place was exactly what we were looking for! Loved the atmosphere and the crab was cooked perfectly. “I was greeted by a courteous and professional man who was also patience with me being a little indecisive. They have a lot to offer from their menu. The environment was open, spacey,and clean. I ordered the chicken philly,a chicken quesadilla, and a shrimp po boy and I didn't wait very long, my order was correct, and the food presentation was pleasing to the eye. The chicken philly had too much salt and I couldn’t eat it. The shrimp po boy was phenomenal! The shrimp were a nice size, the bread was grilled, and the chipotle sauce was good,tomatoes, and lettuce was fresh as well! The chicken quesadilla was also good and everything was portioned decently! The fries are fresh cut which is a plus and the seasoning on them gave me a salt vinegar & ranch vibe but I assure you that I was satisfied and would definitely be back!
