“I’ll tell you what. The young lady Naja that was our server was Great to us. My wife is Gluten free and she initially thought “oh boy what I’m a going to eat”. Naja referenced cauliflower crust pizza and the Impossible burger. The burger my wife ate was fantastic. The boom boom shrimp, wings and the PIZZA were delicious. The atmosphere with sports playing on big screens and the cleanliness of the place make this a home run for eating out! Thank you“
“We ordered a salad topped with salmon, French Onion Soup and the sirloin and mashed potatoes. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the salmon served medium as ordered. It was very good. The French onion soup was excellent with plenty of onions in a tasty broth. The sirloin was cooked medium as ordered. It tasted great but was a bit tough to chew. Service was very good - friendly and efficient.“
“Food and vibes at The River Merchant were so good! Probably the best Caesar salad I've ever had, and the added blackened chicken was perfect. Our server Lorelei was great, and suggested leaving our beer cheese behind from the pretzel app for our fries which was such a clutch suggestion. The salmon croquettes were also delicious. Lots of wins at this restaurant, definitely would recommend.“
“I've been telling my family that this is my favorite restaurant for the last two years. I finally got to take my dad here. He tried the veal scallopini and loved it. He said wow with every bite. “The restaurant's mission is consistency and the food is ALWAYS delicious. The short rib bruschetta paired with the Maison Nicholas Pinot Noir was absolute perfection. I constantly enjoy sitting in the pub area and my mom, dad, and significant other especially enjoy the pub food including the short rib nachos and pretzels.I love to get my holiday wine here as well. I am always so impressed with how much variety NE has. I managed to get a case with all of my favorites including a Beaujolais Nouveau, Georges Duboeuf Pinot Noir, and Lobster Reef Sauvignon Blanc for the upcoming holidays. I do wish that the beer selection had a tad more variety as we enjoy ciders, sours, goses, and stouts and the fridge was mostly IPAs but overall, always a wonderful visit to this local gem.PS. Lambic beer is a little rare to find and I'm really glad NE stocked this!“

“Started with a great cocktail at the bar. Bartender was exceptional. Meet a great young couple at the bar. Had dinner in the bar area. Waiter Joe was very knowledgeable and was able to get me the last elk chip which was just amazing. Chef did a great job and also prepared my wife's steak perfectly. He was acting like a pro to me with this place telling all about this and that...well, I finally got to the bottom of it. Yeah, he's been there a lot and can tell me how amazing the mac and cheese is....bc that's all he's ever ordered lol.Well, I ordered the buffalo wrap. I added tofu and subbed kalamata olives in place of tomatoes. This was a very fresh, simple and tasty meal. I am not from the area but am absolutely looking forward to the next time I am in. Grazers each day would even help me another way. I stop daily for a kombucha. They have that here, too. Everyone was friendly, and they came out and made sure our food was good while we were eating, which surprised me. The restaurant was very clean as well.Vegetarian options: When I say everything is vegetarian, it is not. But it basically is and you can add various proteins. Great spot, wish there were more like it.“

“This is the best bar in Kent. It is not fancy so don't think you're walking into an upscale restaurant and don't go late because that's when all the students come out. However, if you want good bar food, a great selection of drinks, and a nice bar to sit at and chat with the bartenders or watch sports, this is the place. Live music on Friday night and game nights other days, what more could you want? It's also a great people watching spot. Hope you enjoy it like we do.“

“We have been talking about going here for a long time. I finally made the trek and am glad that I did. From the moment that we walked in to the time that we left, the employees were outstanding! I ordered so much food, and they were trying to get us the best deals possible. And when I say I ordered a lot, my total was $140. ? But it was definitely worth it!While we were waiting for our food to get cooked and boxed up, my son noticed these paper ships and wanted one. I went to the counter and asked if he could have one or if I could purchase one for him. The employee told me that they were free and that he could have a couple of them. The employee also said that they don't have toys like other fast food restaurants, but they had stuffed animals that he could pick from. He found a Thor stuffy, and he was so excited!After our food was boxed up, one of the employees offered to help me out to my car. It was lightly raining and I really appreciated the help. Because there was a lot! On our ride back home, my son was living his best life naming his ships. It has been three days and he's still playing with them!“
